Dear friends who would like to have a relaxing holiday away, I am reminding you guys to pay extra attention to this b&b or holiday room. I tried to book a room on their website but there is no clear information about cancellation fee or procedure. I managed to book 1 room on their official website but on second day I requested to cancel it. I tried to contact the owner but he said nothing to do with him, instead need to cancel through the agent. I did write an email to all parties but no response from anyone. I kept trying until later on the website agent told me he will guide the owner how to cancel my booking. I didn't know why the owner needed to charge me for £50 as I have told him more than a month ago to cancel it but he won't accept it until the website agent told him so. It wasn't my fault at all. I just feel shocked and surprised with his handling gesture. Please be aware if it if you want to book it. Be aware if it. Good luck

You can tell how much the CGH cares about their guests. The details are taken care of. Self check in was very easy. We just called from the door. We were a family of 4. The room was small but the beds were so comfortable - best of our trip through Europe. Breakfast was a delicious full English breakfast. Other cereals and pastries also an option. Everything promised was provided. Service was very friendly and a park for our car. Recommended.

Great stay, a little bit out of the center which is not a problem if you do not have small children or elderly people in your group. Overcame our expectations as we are not very fond of the accommodations in UK for the budget of £100 - was very clean, enough space, all the facilities and full breakfast 🍳💕

Booked a room for my adult children to stay over Christmas. It was a very convenient location and the accommodation suited the purpose very well. Good communication and a very convenient self check in and check out. Would recommend.

We had a lovely stay at the Cambridge Guesthouse last weekend. The rooms were well furnished and very clean. We were in a double room which had an en suite. This was reached via a twin bedded room. This was ideal for our family. The owner, Dina, was very friendly and helpful and we had a wonderful time in Cambridge. Breakfast was lovely with lots of different options available. There is a bus stop very nearby and there is a regular service to the city. We used this on the day we arrived, but on the next day we walked in. The walk in to the city is 30 minutes (as we were in no rush) but it could have been done more quickly. Would definitely highly recommend and stay again if we were to visit Cambridge.

Very friendly and welcoming, clean and well presented in all aspects of the guest house. Both rooms of our accommodation were bright and off modern decor, ample bottle drinking water, very good supply of teas, coffee's, biscuit and mints. Staff! actually the owners very pleasant and nothing that was asked of them was a problem, very good. If we travel to the area again will most certainly consider staying here again.

Had a lovely getaway at the Cambridge Guesthouse last weekend. The rooms were very well finished and cleaned showing how much the owners care about their place and ensuring a comfortable and wonderful stay. Dina, the owner, was very friendly and helpful and we had a wonderful day in Ely based on her recommendation - thank you. Breakfast was lovely with lots of variety and different options available in line with Covid precautions. Would definitely highly recommend and stay again.

A lovely stay in a lovely part of Cambridge. We did an overnight stay as a late Valentine's. Called beforehand, spoke to Enzo & he allowed us to arrive long before check in so we could explore Cambridge. We also confirmed our breakfast choices (cooked breakfast & a vegan cooked). Also provided are fruit, yogurt, croissants & cereals. The coffee is also very nice. The rooms are quiet & you can get a good sleep. Bed was comfy, shower was hot, couldn't fault anything. Enzo & Dina are fabulous hosts, so attentive & friendly. The location was good for us, Google maps says 40 min walk to Cambridge city centre, it felt like 20. Definitely recommend staying here :)

We were made to feel very welcome in this well run guest house on one of the main roads into the city. Well maintained and tastefully decorated. Nothing was too much trouble for Enzo, who made us feel at home. We had room 3, located on the ground floor, opposite the breakfast room. Comfy bed, nice ensuite room with proper powerful shower. Good choice of breakfast, with fresh fruit salad, cereals, yoghurt, brioche, filter coffee, etc, as well as a proper full English breakfast and toast You won't go hungry! Location is approximately 20 minutes away from the city centre with a brisk walk. Parking out front for about 6 cars. The only things we noticed about room 3 were that it's at the front of the house and even though quite set back from the road, the traffic noise is noticeable. We were also disturbed by whoever was in 6 room directly above by loud talking and clumping around late at night but I guess that can happen anywhere! All in all, a good find but maybe ask for a first floor room at the back of the house if you are noise sensitive.

Room 5 - Small shower, lamp, TV and makeup light didn't work and bed was springy. Dried noodle on floor of bathroom. Breakfast and staff were lovely and good walk and busses to town
