Good food, good service, dog friendly, nice place for a drink on the terrace on a sunny day

Terrible experience after such good experiences years ago in Utrecht. Zuiver nowadays has poor service and very poor quality food. Their bouilabaise is like from an instant package without a nice broth, was poured cold, and only filled with two muscles, some Norwegian shrimp and two slices of raw salmon. Muscles were undercooked. Soup had no depth, no saffran and tasted somewhat salty / sour. Other guests at my table received cold chips and a blend caesar salad. Never again, esp not at these prices.

Bit too busy, too much noise and overworked staff at end of shift. But the food is great, definitely worth a stop.

Beautifully decorated with many captivating paintings. Staff were very welcoming and seemed pleased to be there despite being busy. All 6 of us enjoyed our impressively put together plates. I opted for a surprise for each meal and my taste buds lit up. I enjoyed every bite. They also had a work party in a different section of the restaurant which you are oblivious to while eating but had a peek on the way out. It was a beautiful large room with space for hosting large numbers and its own bar. Will keep that in mind for our next big shindig . Thank you Rob our waiter who speaks English fluently (sadly my Dutch is nonexistent) and for his hard work, approachability and expertise of what he served us. Will definitely be back!
