To flee, I went there with my 3 and a half month old son (at the time) and they are frustratingly not very human. They came to my son's room wearing yellow overalls (or whatever), gloves, masks, etc. According to them this was "Tuberculosis" πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ. The child was placed in isolation (and so was I) to go out I had to wear a mask. I was distraught because this was my first time having to be at the bedside of one of my sick children. I am a mother of 4 children, they offered me a psychologist, I accepted (because according to them this is the procedure during hospitalization). But this psychologist is only a replacement and in the end I, who came spontaneously to treat my son for an abscess which turned out to be bacteria, I had to stay because they kept my son and did not want to let him out. because the psychologist twisted my words and used them against me. Knowing that I had said personal things and that she revealed everything, therefore zero professional secrecy and zero empathy. She called SOS CHILDREN and said she had concerns: β€œNo interaction with my son who is only 4 months old (since January 8). So parents, especially African ones, please don't go there because you will cry for nothing. She does her job, of course, but we are parents and know our role.

Emergencies are a shame! An inconsistent diagnosis based on a video shown and other symptoms diarrhea, fever, loss of appetite,... from my 18 month old son! Feverish convulsions but according to this doctor, chills! Incredible but true! According to the doctor's words: you have to come back if it gets worse or call an ambulance) so we're waiting for something very serious to come and get treatment! Except when it's too late! A feverish state (40.1 a few hours before) of my boy, (I changed hospital, 3 hours later, I was given nurofen 39 directly for fever the temperature had risen!!!) to tell you to what points we are numbers! This doesn't even deserve a star! Plus having a member of the person who interferes in my private life on the phone with my husband! Who repeats my words to another person out loud in the hallways and laughing in my face while my son is in a feverish state! When I ask to see this person again to defend them, and take responsibility for the comments they made, they parade through the emergency room entrance, a team that is not welcoming at all! Followed by 4 people who pissed me off (easy to yell behind a window at 4... go and file a complaint on the site! If I'm not happy basically get out! I am then filmed and taunted with a cell phone in my hand! As a bonus, security and the police arrive just for me, 4 men! Because I would have personally said insults to my husband on the phone (private discussion) without having attacked anyone or targeted anyone! A story worthy of a film! I will never set foot there again! My complaint will be filed! On the site and also at THE ORDER OF DOCTORS!

My wife called to get an appointment for our 10mo toddler. The lady that attended her was kinda rude cause my wife does not speak perfect French and asked her to repeat some of the information needed. The only choice she gave her was to fill a form. One would think a children hospital could have a bit more empathy and help those who need a bit more support rather than being rude and discriminate foreigners. Specially in a city like Brussels where many of us come to work to European institutions and related international organizations and pay taxes like anybody else.

Horrible hospital. I came in the emergency room with a doctors note that my son needs an ultrasound scan as he has suspected appendicitis and the doctor refused as it's Friday evening. Apparently health only matters during office hours, we have been waiting 2 hours for blood results a total of four hours here. Stay away. What an awful way to treat sick children.

We had an appointment of radiology. The reception lady is nice (and very patient even if my French is not good). The people I met in the radiology department are also nice. We arrived half an hour earlier and the waiting time was reasonable. The (paid) parking lot is not big but seems sufficient in the morning hours.

We arrived with our 2yo at the Urgence and had a very good experience. They immediatly looked at her injury, cleaned it, send us to the responsible service where we were able to see a very helpful doctor only after 20min waiting. Total time we spent there was about 1hour - on a Saturday evening!

EMERGENCIES TO RUN AWAY...especially a certain pediatrician (if we can call her that), haughty, disrespectful, completely underqualified, rude and so on!! impossible to have her name to file a complaint BRAVo the hierarchy...today 'Today my son is being monitored at Chirec and thank God, they are taking his case seriously, examinations are underway to rule out a serious illness.

I did not want to share my experience before finishing the whole journey since i wanted to leave an honest review. After seeing so many negative comments i really got scared at first since i had never been there before, but the first time i went i completely changed my impression. Starting from the secretaries, who were very nice to us on the phone and in person. They were very kind to speak to us even in English. Then to the nurses, and all the staff. My 4 year old daughter had surgery and has been very stressful for us but thanks to the amazing doctor Dr.Oren Cavel who did such a wonderful amazing job. He was so patient and kind towards our girl, even when she was scared, he never pushed something she did not want and always was patient. He informed us and reassured us regarding the surgery. God bless him, also Dr. Frank (hopefully i am correct) which co-operated with the doctor and i only seen the day of the operation. She was such a sweetheart. Thank you to all the nurses, anesthesiologists, and doctors who took care of our daughter before and after the surgery. Everything was clean, neat, scheduled in time and we felt very well. I can not talk about the others experiences but mine was better than expected. Today she took her stitches of and is doing a good recovery. Best regards, Alaia's parents,

I don't know who the person behind the endocrinology line is, but he is clearly an incompetent person!!! Despite the many negative reviews, I still gave it the benefit of the doubt. I called yesterday to make an appointment in the endocrinology department. I am asked on the phone to press number 1 for endocrinology, the person answers me, I tell them that I would like to make an appointment in their department. She asks me in which department I tell her endocrinology and she makes me wait to transfer me to the cardiology department. Her colleague tries to transfer me back to endocrinology but she doesn't bother to answer, the phone rings for 10 minutes and no answer! I tried to call this morning, I asked for an appointment with endocrinology again, she put me directly on hold without giving me any follow-up, many minutes passed, no answers. I hang up and try to call the service again but they don't bother to answer me!! I think the negative reviews are well justified!!!

Their favorite phrase is treating doctor as if they don't know how to do anything "you have to go see a treating doctor so that he can deal with this that.." if you don't know how to treat tell us and move around a little

I came to this hospital from Algeria when I was 3 years old in 1999 for a lung surgery, but after the surgery I have not been able to stand or walk since that time. Your hospital is very bad.

You don't even deserve 1 star! Emergencies to avoid!! After 3 trips to the emergency room in a week no correct diagnosis, always the same thing it's viral!! it's viral with an inflammation at 148 and after 36 hours goes up to 190 for them nothing serious we're not at 300 to worry with the doctor! 1st visit - mononucleosis, 2nd visit the 3 days following the 1st visit in a degraded state of my son 2nd opinion sore throat but viral, we no longer give antibiotics for sore throats, even viral, even bacterial what is that the doctor told me which of course is not true!!! at that moment they did an inflammation blood test at 148, told me to come back Saturday morning I come back the same story it's viral, but still since I insists on the fact that it is not normal that he has had a fever for 8 days non-stop which rises to 40.4 we take a blood test again the inflammation is 190 always viral for them I start to tell them hence this certainty that it is viral, since they did not do at least one throat smear, there is another doctor who comes to see him and finally takes a smear and asks for new blood tests and also urine and tells me to go home at home that they are going to call me to tell me if I should go back or not!!! I ask for the report the doctor doesn't give me he doesn't have time because there are other patients to consult! ok, I'm leaving from there to another hospital where I am still hospitalized since Saturday the same day they sent me home! aaa yes, and say to return again on Monday for re-evaluation and when the doctor of this hospital where I am currently speaking with They say that they waited for a breath in my son's heart and for that I have to return on Monday, but they told me nothing about this breath in his heart! A child of 4 and a half years old left him in a degraded state and did not take it seriously and told me that for the moment there were no complications, so they were waiting for complications to intervene!! I will never come back to Queen Fabiola's emergency room again! I am deeply disappointed and disgusted!! Notice to all parents, beware of the emergencies of this hospital!!!!

Horribly slow and uncommunicative emergency service, even if only to transfer you to another hospital because they have no free beds (that took literally more than 4 hours, 3 of which went by with no communication whatsoever by the staff) Ah! I forgot adding that small detail: not enough beds to hospitalize kids that need to!
