I have come after positive reviews but I was quite disappointed with the service and food. First of all it says restaurant opens at 11:30 am but when we reached at 12:00, we got to know kitchen is not ready and when we are back in evening after 5 pm, it was no better. We asked for tea and momos but apparently it’s finished. Now that was shocking as I was not expecting that you made tea once in morning and then keep on serving that stale tea and now that stale tea is finished. Thanks God! It is finished but here I will appreciate honesty of crew in telling this. Finally, we have decided to try something since we have come here, so ordered samosa and chicken tikka but it was worst starters I have eaten so far. I went ahead and given my this feedback to crew. I do not want to add further here and spread the right info.

A decent place for Indian food in core Brussels, quite close to the grand palace. The service here is quick, and food although tasty does lack some authentic feeling probably due to the touristy nature of the service. However, its great for one time visit if you are in mood for some Indian food.

Staff was friendly and the place looked good. Prices are reasonable and they don't try to sell you on something that you don't want. For starter we had chicken sausage and samosas, both we're good, not great but good 7/10. The main course however just wasn't great the butter chicken was okay (the sauce didn't have a lot of taste) and the lamb biryani was okay, the rice is great the lamb not so much. It's shame that the food wasn't better otherwise I would've given a better rating.

The 2 stars mainly for the pleasant waiter who provided quick service. However, the food was disappointing and lacked flavor, with an overwhelming spiciness. When we requested for "Rita" sauce, the waiter was not familiar with it. Additionally, we noticed that the plates and forks were not clean, and asked for plastic ones instead. Overall, doesn’t taste fresh or Indian. I would honestly avoid it if you like authentic Indian flavors

The restaurant The restaurant is very small and cozy but its a bit smelly as the toilets are below and open. the smell was everywhere. The toilets were very small females and males on one bathroom. The food We took multiple options from the food the worst was the garlic bread, where the garlic was not smashed well, so it was very smelly and did not taste well The service The waiter at the beginning wanted us to sit on a table beside the bar, where we did not agree and he did not want to provide us with a table that is far away from the bar, but then he agreed but since they were not agreeing, the food was very late and we received the food after 45 minutes of waiting

The food is average and the cost is moderate. We had chicken biryani and tandoori chicken curry which tasted okay. The quality was average and the service was good.

First time eating there. Well received, waiter was very kind and keen to explain the menu and help me choose the perfect dishes to choose. The food was very good, tasty and well rationed... Nothing much to say, I spent a good evening eating very well. Sad that I had to eat outside but bonus point for the heater just above us, in the end we were not cold at all. I'll go back without a doubt

Came across by pure chance - no reservations but was given a table. Wanted to order 3 mix Thali but was advised it’s too much for group of three .. so glad I listened! The food tasted great and the service was top notch! What’s not to like. Oh they also charged my phone so I could find my way back to my car! Thanks you very much!

The employees were the best, we got useful tips regarding the food and my boyfriend had to charge his phone which was taken care of in a second. Just amazing service, very friendly, helpful and kind. The food self tasted very good as well!

The food was awesome and authentic with the right amount of spices. Mr. Jeet was very hospitable and open about his thoughts on the food and service. I found the ambience very cozy and life-like. If you're looking for some desi food then this is the go-to place.

Excellent authentic indian food, good service, in an indian setting. All at democratic prices. I recommend this place for a nice lunch or dinner.

One of the best Indian places I have been to recently. I ordered one thali which is more than enough for two, server was kind enough to parcel. Thali cannot be customised so order accordingly. Should try if you like Indian food and are in Brussels.

I loved it. The food was really good, the right amount of spicyness (good for those not used to indian food). Also, portions were abundant. Great service, the waiters explained every dish in detail and were super nice. I specifically recommend trying the mango lassi!! It's delicious

We stumbled upon this place when the craving for Indian food during our Brussles trip got better of us! A big part of our travel group of 9 being vegetarian we wanted a place with authentic Idia taste and godo collection of veg and non-veg dishes. The place turned out just what we were looking for! They accommodated us with difficulty due to the peak turist season and requeted for all order to be palced at the same time. We ordered a variety of veg and non-veg dishes and everybody at the end of evening left the hotel fully satisfied!! Veg mixed platter was ordinary but not disappointing. Veg dishes of bhindi bhaji (surprise star), kadhaai paneer and shaahi paneer was extremely popular. My wife ordered sarso ka saag which was great too (too bad there was no makki ki roti). Non-veg thaali was exceptional and the bread qualities were great!! Large selection of fruit juices, lassi and alcoholic drinks! I was thrilled to see Amrut whiskey on the menu and relished it! THe service team was a bit too prescriptive of how to order etc but I guess it was due to the high rush of guests in the hotel. But overall, if you want to add some good quality indian food in your expereince of Brussles enter, do visit this place and you will not be disappointed. We sat on the first floor which has a new decor and it was great!!

We went to this place yesterday. It was really great place to eat but unfortunately the food was not as expected. That doesn’t mean the food is bad, it’s good but not as our expectations. However , the people who served us were really great and well mannered. From all of seven of us ; the tea was really great. I definitely suggest everyone to visit.

Good price in Brussels. Taste is not bad but their curry is more like for beginner. The flavor is light for me. And environment would let you feel like in India. Anyway, it is worthy for their prices.

Average restaurant. Food is okay, and portions sizes are good. Location is right in center of city which is good and service and food came quick. Nothing special but a good place to stop by for some Indian.

The attention was great. Good service, fast. The food was delicious. Really tasty, made at the moment. Specially the butter chicken, it was a pretty good surprise. Just as a suggestion, the menus are a bit old and rusty, it would be great to have them renewed. But the rest was spectacular.

Very nice staff and good food for reasonable prices. Sometimes restaurants in centers of big cities feel pushy or like a tourist trap, but I felt genuinely appreciated and welcome. I must add, the ladies toilet was the smallest one I've ever been to, including toilets on a plane, it was an adventure 😁

Mouth watering delicious authentic Punjabi food. Their Daal Makhani with lacha paratha did a complete pleasant surprise. Fast & very customer focused service. Must visit while you are touring in Brussels & an awesome way to end your day for perfect evening dinner.

Friendly and welcoming staff, calm atmosphere and - not to forget - absolutely delicious and tasty food at very reasonable prices. Menu has a good range of Indian dishes. It's easy to pass by, so keep an eye out if you are in the area.

Food is good, portion very decent and the waiter was nice. I don't understand why they insist this restaurant has nothing to do with Royal Indian Taste restaurant, since every little thing is identical (menu, drinks, prices, even the fact that in both locations they insist for you to pay cash for the bill). A bit shady but the food was always nice so I guess that is enough for the customer.

The best chicken butter, garlic naan, ras mali and pakora I have ever had! Yamen was very friendly, attentive and fast when we ordered our food. He made sure we order the best beer and food :) I would come here again and again!

Good Ambience, kind staff. Average Taste. Mutton dishes are delicious. I got a chicken in a thali with very salty, but they replaced it. Taste can be improved more to vegetarian and chicken dishes

A very nice place with good ambience, located in the heart of the city in centraal. The service is just brilliant, infact over the top. Yaman brings in a such a jolly and a good mood with himself as well as gives good suggestions for beer and food. The beers are fabulous. The food is decent but the service is good, so it makes up for it. Overall, a good experience.

One of the best Indian restaurants I went to. Beautiful place, nicest and most welcoming kind of waiters and great food. It was an incredible experience. I just deduct one star on the “service” aspect (but not on the overall stars) because the menus, in my personal opinion, are a tad too expensive (but the main dishes are listed outside, so you know what you’re getting into) and because the actual menu is wayyy too long, it almost felt like reading a book. Other than that, I can 11/10 times suggest this place to friends, and additionally most dishes are helāl.

Quality Indian food in Brussels. Flavorful, large servings and the right amount of spice. Passed Royal Indian Restaurant while on our walking tour and saw our favorite Indian dishes on the menu and thought, dinner? Well, we stopped for dinner and the restaurant was quite full. We sat inside and for a starter we ordered the Onion Bhajee, which were very crispy and full of flavor served with a mint and an apricot sauce. For dinner I ordered the Matar Paneer with Basmati rice. When served, the bowl was filled with paneer and a light curry sauce. With the rice, it was a large portion. The spice was just right and the paneer tasted fresh. My partner ordered the Chana Poori and really loved his dish. Again, the Chickpeas were piled high and the sauce was very good. Overall, for our taste, we enjoyed the flavors and the spice level. We tried Indian restaurants a few times on this trip in The Netherlands and Belgium and enjoyed Royal Indian the most. With our check they presented us with 2 ice cream bars which for me, cooled the heat in my mouth. This was very generous and appreciated. Service was perfect, our waiter was extremely friendly and attentive. Worth a try if you enjoy Indian cuisine.

Perfect position in the centre and nicely decorated place. Staff is impeccably nice and attentive. Prices are more than reasonable for the city center, but would not claim it is the best Indian restaurant in town.

Chose this restaurant in Brussels based on the ratings. I ordered mix veg starter which was hot and crispy. But they added some chat powder which tasted something like a street food in India. I'm not a fan of the same. But for the price, the quantity was good. Taste average. For main course I ordered a veg biryani and it was soggy. I prefer a middle ground when it comes to cooking biriyani. Again the content of biriyani is good and generous for the price. It tasted something very ordinary like you will have at home. Not like a hotel range taste, which is a good and bad thing. Overall, lot of room for improvement especially giving preference to Cash payment from the restaurant side. Better not to push the customer and let them choose the mode of payment. They were helpful enough to parcel me the remaining biriyani. Expand your menu too for Vegetarian or add Egg to the mix.

The dish was well-cooked and tasted good to me. However, it was not spicy as I expected. One of the curry with chicken was sweet. The “nan” were a bit cold. The staffs were really nice, he explained what are in the dish to me. Also we had free juices and chocolates to take home. Great location as well, at the centre with affordable prices.

Absolutely delicious! We ate like kings with 2 people. Friendly staff and even a nye apple juice champagne to top it off. Definitely coming back!

Im not sure who gave them these many good reviews? The naan wasn’t cooked well. Two different subzis tasted the same. How the F does that happen? & on top, flies flying around. Changed tables but the flies followed us inspite of us taking a shower this morning.

At first a bit disappointed. But when the food comes to the table. Really good, honest food, the taste is even more amazing. We will be back. Big portions, best to share. The waiters are really friendly and helpful.

A place which reached far beyond my expectations. The food was really delicious and in reasonable price. I ordered non-vegetarian dinner and the staff was really friendly in recommeding the right choice from menu, in fact the person suggested about the over quantity of the order I initially placed 😂(He might thought that I was starving for two days).A nice little place for good Indian food near to Brussels Royal palace.

It was great! Service was super nice props to the friendly staff. I ordered a Kadai Paneer which was absolutely succulent I only wish I had bit a more sauce and less paneer but my friends had absolutely no issues with their food. It was served hot and tasty !! Will definitely come back for another round ans try the chicken makhani (butter chicken) my friends had. They absolutely loved it
