Great
experience!
It
was
my
first
visit,
and
even
though
we
got
there
a
little
late,
we
were
welcomed
and
ushered
into
our
seats.
The
performances
were
all
extraordinary.
My
only
objections
to
the
experience
as
a
whole
were
two-fold:
1.
One
of
the
singing
numbers
(by
Mary)
was
a
little
too
close
to
the
Disney
movie
"Beauty
and
the
Beast"
in
the
song
about
how
Belle
is
not
accepted
in
her
little
village...it
could
have
been
more
original,
and
not
felt
as
"fake".
2.
The
ending
of
the
Christmas
play
felt
very
abrupt...it
was
literally
like
this:
1.
Great
song
(that
man
could
really
belt
out
a
song
and
had
a
great
voice!)
2.
It's
over.
Get
out.
I
don't
know
what
they
could
have
done
differently,
but
it
was
such
a
high
point
in
the
musical
that
to
be
suddenly
over...it
was
anti-climatic.
I
also
didn't
like
the
portion
when
Mary
and
Jospeh
were
in
the
Manger,
and
while
Mary
was
in
active
childbirth,
above
the
Manger,
they
had
"the
devil"
fighting
an
angel.
I
get
that
children
will
be
excited
by
the
flying
battle,
and
the
imagery
of
lightning
and
fighting...but
for
a
Christian
group,
I
didn't
feel
that
it
was
necessary
or
appropriate
(since
the
play
is
Bible
based,
why
add
to
it,
like
that?)
