I'd have rated this motel higher if the price wasn't jacked up to a ridiculous amount. The standard published rate for a deluxe room is $70/night. But we paid $300+ instead; that's 400% mark-up! Felt like daylight robbery. We can only wish rates are regulated around here whenever WSU has an event whereby parents will travel here for their children. For those visiting during off-peak period, $70 is reasonable for a room that has a microwave oven, LCD TV, fridge, wifi (my wifi 6 phone gotten 24 mbps only), and coffee maker. The carpet has a strong musky smell that requires open-door airing before we could settle in. The hot water takes forever to warm up. The air-con is loud! They do offer complimentary bottled water and breakfast (coffee, pastries, chew bars, and oranges/bananas). Staff are friendly.

The price for this hotel was jacked up 3 times more than usual for the WSU move in week, felt highjacked by the situation since there are so limited number of accommodation in this area and this is already the cheapest we can find. Definitely not worth the price we paid. The office closes at 9pm so you must check in by 9pm. The room had a terrible musty smell when we entered, and we had to leave the room door opened for a while to air it. Aircon was really noisy. Breakfast was the bare minimum store bought muffins, granola bars, yogurts, cereal boxes, banana and oranges. Location was the only plus point here being so close to WSU and downtown.

Quirky motel near downtown Pullman. Motel is a great value but rooms are dated and in need of upgrade. We were in 113 and had particular issue getting the water temperature adjusted in the shower. We got it to work but finicky it is. Great location and again a value stay. Also, AC units are a bit noisy, office has ear plugs.

Hi, i am a new Coug , that came to Pullman for orientation, and have to spend 1 extra night in town. So i decide to chose this motel cause it closest to the campus and have the bus stop that 5 - 10 min walk. And here is Ovr. Room is clean, AC work very well, clean bathroom, and 2 free water bottle and one snack, big screen LG TV, mirror and sink is clean, no rust no finger print.

Nope...not a 5 star hotel. But clean, quiet, super convenient to downtown. Traveling on a motorcycle. Park in front of your room. Walk to food and drink. Half the price of big name brands. Dated rooms but functional. Will stay again next time through.

1st time there we were basically yelled at for parking in the lot to check in, then because of our last names the owner almost wasn't going to take us. (Something about a previous tenant) We are not all related. πŸ™„ Now we were there due to a flooding in my apartment, this motel was not by choice. After she figured out things were a little better. It was Christmas eve and she bought cookies. However, the rooms have these bugs that crawl and fly, don't ask me. Housekeeper comes 2x a week, She is great. The 1st time we had to check out, they actually came to the room and watched us check out ( maybe its that hispanic last name?) We were there for about 3 weeks. Good news is they do accept pets for a up charge. Overall if you are here for a weekend to see a game ....its fine.

The pro of this hotel is that it's affordable... The con is that because of the price, you would need to lower your expectations for cleanliness and overall accommodations.

If no stars was an option I would leave no stars. Absolutely disgusted with this motel. I made a reservation through Expedia and was not sent any confirmation information. I called the motel 3 times to confirm our reservation and each time I was told we did not have a reservation I checked under both mine and my husbands names and phone numbers. Was told nope no reservations so we booked a different room in a different city. At 745pm my husband got a phone call informing him his card was going to charged for a no show on our booking. Now they’re refusing a refund for a booking we were told we never had. Told us to call Expedia to fix the problem and they fought tooth and nail with Expedia to refuse our refund. We will NEVER do business here. Shame on you cougar land.

The cougarland motel was one of my family best experience in Pullman after a long driving cross country. The beds are extremely comfortable with nice blankets and the bath was larger with great water pressure. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. I recommend this place anytime.

I've stayed here for homecoming the last two years. I can't say enough. The owners are incredibly friendly. It's very quiet, and the location is awesome! Is it the Four Seasons, no, but it's everything I need for an amazing Coug weekend.

CAT FRIENDLY WITH NO PET FEE!!!! The people at the front desk are very nice and helpful. The rooms are big and clean. There is a TV, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker and they leave a courtesy snack and bottle of water in your room the day you arrive. The only drawback is the front desk is closed after 9:00 pm.

Possibly the best value for any hotel/motel in the Pullman area. The management team of Greg and Belle were very friendly, organized and professional. The room was clean, inviting and right in front of my vehicle. A convenient location in downtown Pullman and close to WSU which was the purpose of my visit. An excellent two night experience and I'll be going back soon. Thanks Greg and Belle. Rick

We stayed here on a move in weekend in the pet rooms on the back side of the motel. I think those rooms must not be used much due to the dead bugs and stains on the wall. The location was good, right downtown which was easier than staying in Moscow or way out in colfax. The non-pet rooms are probably better. Easy/fast check in and check out and very friendly.

Great location, unfortunately we had to cut our trip short but the time we did have was good. Unfortunately we were next to some very loud people and thin walls you could hear them talking all night long which made it hard to sleep. Beds were comfy and highly recommend the location for walking to town. Also pet friendly is huge plus. Would stay again.

Agree with other reviews, 5 star , 2 star hotel. Room was very clean, bed was extremely comfortable. New comforters. Room was tastefully decorated. Front desk person was so very kind with all our interactions. Walking distance to so many wonderful shops. My *only* complaint is that the curtains were not black out curtains. We were up early, however if we had wanted to sleep in that would have been a challenge. (Feel a bit silly complaint of sunshine 😊) Towels are wonderfully soft, not a normal 2 star hotel towel. Seriously these were nice towels! Great stay, we were not in town during a football game so pricing wasn't an issue.

For a motel it was great! Very clean and had modern furnishings. The front desk was helpful when I was having trouble connecting to the WiFi.

It's the RoseBud Motel in Pullman :) The quietest rooms are on the 3rd floor. Your hosts Greg & Belle are wonderful! An affordable, comfortable, updated motel!

We stayed in February and the host was very nice and the rooms were very clean. It's a great lower cost alternative. It might be a little outdated, (tiles on bathroom sink, no smart tv, etc) but I don't plan on spending a lot of time in the room anyways. Beds are super comfortable. Right off the two main streets, but I did not hear any traffic noise. Nice to be able to walk to dinner. I would definitely stay there again.

Booked through Expedia and got the 100% refundable option. I called the day off to cancel through the front office and they wouldn't cancel the reservation. It wasn't in my control for the cancelation and I was going to push the reservation to another date they wouldn't work with me. I'm never coming back! Very disappointed

Lady at the front desk is an absolute angel. Our room was clean, beds were comfy and covered in fluffy pillows. The bathtub was spotless clean and the water pressure 🚿 amazing.

Extremely kind front desk and management staff. We moved across the country and they went above and beyond to make sure our pets and us had a place to stay. They were courteous, kind and welcoming. It was a great way to start off living in Pullman. Thank you to Greg and Belle specifically!
