It's really fast-food-quality BBQ. The only difference is; fast food is reasonably priced. Dickey's (at least this location) is extremely over-priced. As of Fri Apr 15, 2022 the price of a tablespoon-sized pulled pork and brisket portion was $19 dollars. It included 2 sides ( I got mac & cheese, potato casserole, both were horribly commercial-tasting) and a drink served in a souvenir cup. I would rather pay $2-$3 dollars less for a standard cup. Seriously, what am I going to do with this big yellow cup?

Dickies BBQ is a very decent place for a barbecue. I enjoyed everything we ordered. I suggest ordering online and picking up your order, it's so much faster doing so. Ribs- (nice size bones) could've been better if they had more smoke to them. Pulled pork- a little dry, but taste really good with the bbq sauce provided Sausage- really good Coleslaw- really good (similar to KFC's) Potato salad- nice mustard flavor

Decent place at the start, but the last few orders have just been straight out disappointing. If you want undercooked meat, missing items, and something completely different from what you ordered, this is the place. You’ll 10/10 times never receive your sides or sauces. Thinking about 3 meats? Enjoy two, because you’ll never get a full complete order from here. You would think for the price of these dishes, quality and customer care would be top priority. I advise you to order elsewhere, because it’s always “nothing we can do about it” and never “enjoy your full order.”.

My brother and I have been there 3 times. We both lived in Texas for a considerable period of time. so we know quality when we taste it. The brisket is very good, however the portion size seems to have dwindled since the first time. For the prices they are charging, you would think a half pound of meat is not out of the question. We probably got 4 ounces of burnt ends at the MOST. I know meat prices are up, but that is ridiculous.

There was only one employee on duty, and I could only describe his personality as distant, disgusted, surly and unfriendly. In fact it was some of the worst customer service I have ever had, I even tried to make conversation with the gentleman but it was not received warmly at all. My friend and I were starving and thought barbecue was a great option, we could put aside the bad customer service if the food was good but I have to tell you we were sorely disappointed. Presentation terrible, the food was very cold. The mac and cheese was essentially tasteless, the mashed potatoes tasted like warm dish soap. I'm a good Christian, I believe in good service and good food and it was anything but those things. We planned on dining in the restaurant and the gentleman didn't even give us an option to as he wrapped our food to go because clearly we were leaving he was having none of us being there. He had headphones on and was barely paying attention, his demeanor was listless and his eyes were placid and distant. You never know what's going on in somebody's life so I tip this man 10% and I gave him a cash tip as well and he didn't even say thank you. Whoever this person is please get rid of them because he doesn't even have basic customer service skills. I am appalled, and if this email doesn't make you ashamed I really feel sorry for the Dickey's brand. Just utter disappointment...

Small portions. I'm not a big eater and even I left hungry. My husband will be looking for a whole second meal. Grossly overpriced. $60 plus for three people. Food is average at best. Brisket was fatty and mushy. Rolls are hard, dry and tasteless. Beans and coleslaw were passable. Will not be returning.

Normally would not post negative review, however, looking to save people from spending more money. The portions are very small. The food was not what l expected. Burnt end brisket, 95% fat, mac/cheese texture good, no flavor couldn't eat. Jalapeno beans very good. BBQ beans tasted like chili. Coleslaw, good texture, no flavor. Turkey plater (good amt) was salty, no flavor or seasoning. Rolls pale cold and hard. Bill was over $35.00 for lunch. Still hungry after lunch.😔

Everything we got was super fresh and full of flavor! Ribs are a must try along with their chicken. Dining room is open and busy during lunch

Used to LOVE Dickey's. Went there the other night and can't believe how expensive they've gotten. To feed one person was over $20! Ordered chicken and the flavor was also not great ... definitely not what they used to be.

Originally I rated my order 4⭐️ because the corn muffins I ordered were not in my order. Everything else seemed good, until I bit into my slider and ate plastic. Upon further inspection, I pulled out another longer piece of plastic. Both circled in the picture.

I love the food! Good place if u like barbecue themed meat. Mac & cheese is better than what i expected. But i recommend the loaded mashed potatoes. The barbecue is optional for people who DON'T like it. Only down sides are that the drinks don't come with the meal, it a little on the pricey side and they're Dr. Pepper tastes flat all the time.

My boyfriend and I visit here about once a month and every time we have been here the food has been consistent and the service has been incredible. Lovely people with pretty decent food, we will continue to come back.

I was doing a landscape job for my employer and the manager came out to offer us water and advised of delicious eats inside. The food we had for lunch was top-notch and full of flavor. The manager was a pure advocate for Dickies barbecue. He spoke highly of the owner and his achievements and he deserves the title he has.

Bad, very bad. First of all a dead rat greeted us at the door to the restaurant (in the parking space right out front), not strictly their fault for sure but a bad omen so to speak. Inside the 1 employee on duty was cough, sputtering, and sneezing. He was the only one there and far too busy as is. Service was slow, understandable but still. Food is very overpriced for what you get. 3 meat combo and the brisket was mostly gristle and fat, sausage was tasty but just half a link sliced up, and pulled pork was cold and bland. Would high not recommend ever going here.

Good service and food. But, we bought a 3 meat platter, and only got 1 small barbecue sauce. Extra sauce was $1 for a tiny container. We discovered Dickeys in Norwich NY. At that location they had crock pots full of Warm sauce, and you could try them all.

Ordered 3 meat plate through Uber eats. Timing was great arrived in about 20. That was the best part of the meal. The brisket was severely overcooked, seems it may have sat under a heat lamp for about 4 hours, the pulled pork tasted old and almost moldy. The ribs were tender but not much flavor. If there was an option for zero stars would have been chosen. Order 52057371 6/16/23 5:59pm. Update.(as of 6/20) Dickeys responded once and I've replied several times and no response to that to rectify situation.

The food was very good and not what was expected. The staff was awesome very friendly and helpful. Party of 7 had to order one at a time but we were able to put on one bill definitely recommend to go on the off time. It was worth it. Brought home extras so looking forward to lunch today. 😋 I would suggest corn bread. The Texas toast was not a favorite! Thank you for a wonderful send-off for a student leaving to study abroad!

First and last time order for me. Don’t make the same mistake I did, read the reviews before you choose to order from here. My expectations for take out BBQ were not very high to begin with however this was an extreme disappointment. Portion sizes were laughable for the price. Food lacked flavor. Honestly, the entire experience was just sad.

Amazing and accommodating staff. The pulled pork and brisket were fantastic! My kids enjoyed their meals as well. I didn't try all the sides, but if there was an area to improve it would be the available side dishes.

Food was on point!!!!! Great pricing as well!!. I'm from the south and have had a hard time finding a good BBQ place up here.. this place is by far in the top 5 must come to!!! Friendly people as well as a nice atmosphere.. and there sides !!! Omg idk what they do. When they cook the green beans but they will may u Wana get a cup to go!!!!!

First of all incredible customer service from greeting to end of the meal. Food was amazing as well. Wish we had one in Canada but am going to be coming back again on my next shopping trip across the border. Just can’t beat the customer service and bbq food. Tons of flavours and prepared as soon as I ordered.

Ordered the 3 meat meal with 2 sides and a baked potato with the works to split with a friend assuming we would have leftovers. Much to our surprise, while the ribs, brisket and jalapeno cheddar kielbasa were good, the portion size was very small. The baked potato did not seem to have all ingredients on it. That could be because when I ordered for a later pick-up time, they most likely prepared it ahead and kept it in a warmer. I have no clue how they consider the sides to be "medium" in size. Barbecue beans and Baked Potato Casserole had no flavor at all. For the price, it was definitely not worth it. Will not order from there again.

Food was terrible, brisket looked nothing like sliced brisket and mostly fat, pulled pork was dry, the pulled pork sandwich looked like a burnt ends sandwich, and didn’t get our drinks. Won’t go back.

95% of the time, food is good and fresh. But I have found a fly in my side dish once. Customer service at the corporate level did not help things.

Honestly I was really interested in the idea of this place but it really just let me down. First off, the pickup/carryout menu states a lot of items that arent even present in the actual restaurant so I'm glad I decided to go in person because it certainly would have been a fun little surprise to hear half my order was missing. The interior is great, and the aroma is pleasant but the food certainly leaves much to be desired. I ordered a chicken and brisket plate to which both of them were cold, small -portioned, really dry, and didn't have much flavoring. The only thing that provided any sort of flavor was the sweet bbq sauce I chose and getting an extra small cup costs $1 (which honestly tastes like Kraft BBQ sauce, I could go to Dollar Tree and buy a whole bottle with that money). The mac and cheese was also okay... at least that and the potato casserole was warm. I practically spent $45 ($17 each platter + drink/tip) for subpar food. A man came to check up on us on how we were enjoying the food to which both my partner and I shyly smiled and said was fine. Overall, we ate it, but the price certainly wasn't worth what we were offered. I definitely wouldn't tell anyone I know to visit here for a good barbeque meal.
