High praises for Benny who brought my hair back to life. After a consultation we discussed what we wanted to do and he executed beyond my expectations. Love the color and highlights. Having moved to the area I’m happy to have found my new hair place!!! 10/10 stars!

Wow, what an amazing experience! This was my first appointment with Benny and Salon Sage to get a new hair style and color/highlights after moving from another state. He reviewed my hair plan that we discussed during my free consultation several days prior and then he got to work. I’ve never had highlights done so evenly before and the color was perfect. I was unhappy with my base hair color that was done by another salon and Benny fixed it beyond my expectations by reviving my original hair color. He gave my a modern haircut that looks amazing. His attention to detail and precision gave me a new look that I absolutely love! This salon is chic, clean, and the entire staff is super friendly. I’m super pleased and will definitely be back again.

After moving from TN, I needed a stylist who was familiar and knows how to cut Asian hair. I had my first haircut with Benny today and am very pleased! He took his time and was very precise with his cuts. I wish he could style my hair every day! We had great conversation also! I will be definitely returning in a few months. If only the doggy had been there…

I had a bleach disaster before a wedding, and Benny took me in as a walk in, even though his books were full. He showed me compassion and I felt heard the entire time i was in his chair. That alone was a 5 star experience, but his work is phenomenal! If i could rate higher, I would. I have never felt more beautiful. Truly a great experience here with dedicated workers. i wish i lived closer so i could visit often. Thank you Benny so much!!

I just discovered Salon Sage since moving to Mount Pleasant recently. Salon Sage is a warm, welcoming and chill salon. My stylist Blair gave me a great cut and the owner Ali is great. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.

Benny is such a patient man… he let me keep and make friends with the store’s emotional support doggo on my lap, with my hearing aids out and no glasses (thus render me deaf and blind), while he colored, washed, cut, dried and styled my hair. And he still found a way to communicate with me. Loved that about him! He was professional and attentive. He did an amazing job on the color/highlights! I feel young again. Highly recommend Benny!

Beyond disappointing at my experience with this salon. While they are a great group of people personality wise they are not good at coloring. I’ve given this place multiple chances with multiple different stylists and every single one of them can’t figure it out. Every time I went they would never get my hair right I would come back they would attempt to make it better but it still wasn’t what I wanted. For over $300 a pop I should’ve just left after the first time but I like them. After my last experience there and them doing my hair they told me they would not fix it again or give me a refund and wished me luck with a different salon. If you need your haircut or a few basic highlights I’m sure they’ll do great but if you need any kind of color done well do not go here. Below I have posted pictures of what my hair looks like and what I wanted from my previous stylist in a different state the next picture is of what they did with multiple orange patches throughout my hair and the last picture is what it looked like after they tried to fix it and put a toner on it that made it muted and ashy.

Allison has done such a good job over the last couple of years cutting my curly hair that I decided to take my husband to see her to see what she could do with his hair. She’s just so good and knowledgeable and skilled. Wish we lived closer to the salon is all! But we will drive from Goose Creek to Mount Pleasant knowing that we will get a great cut!!!
