I am writing this out of pure shock. My mother recently purchased a vehicle here and everything up to signing paperwork was normal. She went in to the office with Emmanuel Avgoutakis to get info to bring back to her Credit Union. Emmanuel strong armed her in the office and told her she HAD to finance through the dealership or she could not buy her car and they would sell it to someone else. She obviously left his office and spoke to another manager at the front desk who said she DID NOT have to finance through the dealership. My mother came home in tears... how dare you take advantage of an elderly woman like that, a call has been made to the Better Business Bureau.

Just found out when we went to trade in my wife’s car we purchased from Balise that the vehicle had been in an accident and the airbag had been deployed. This is my second bad experience purchasing a vehicle from this dealer. Never again. Update - Dan did reach out, he said that "Autocheck" is "slower" than Carfax and not as detailed. He stated that I should of been happy that the car was repaired to a standard that Balise felt comfortable selling it. I would have never bought the vehicle knowing that the airbags had been deployed - regardless of the quality of the repairs, the car was not worth what it was sold for and I wouldn't have paid what you were asking. So yes, Dan did reach out - is the situation better? No. Stay away from Balise.

Nicely optioned out. Advertised as "accident free" found in glovebox that wasn't cleaned out a receipt left by the previous owner a 3 page receipt from a body shop for parts, labor, paint etc for almost $5000 for repairs on a front end wreck on the same color car with the same Vin number. Car came from Texas. Makes you wonder if any of the cars they're selling were ever flood vehicles.

Not happy at all. Would give zero stars. The woman at the front desk couldn’t be bothered to greet me when I walked in to the dealership. She was scrolling on her phone. The car we purchased was not ready to go for us. The salesman knew days in advance that we were picking up the vehicle. The car was sold to us completely filthy and not detailed. There was a dirty bandage in the car and a nasty bug in the glove box. We mentioned it to the salesman but he couldn’t be bothered to care. The car needed emissions testing to be registered for Connecticut. It was not done prior to us arriving. We had to wait 2+ hours for them to drive to Enfield from West Springfield, do emissions testing and they returned the car with NO GAS in it. We were lied to about our trade in and was told it was going to auction and they couldn’t give us more for the trade. My old car is now on their website selling for top dollar. The salespeople are so unbelievably rude & lie straight to your face just to make a sale. I will never buy another vehicle from any Balise dealerships.

Don't buy any Rav4 because they all suffer from one common issue at some point. You will get a check engine maintenance for a coolant bypass failure that has no recall at the moment and is not cover by factory engine warranty because is not engine related. This problem will ROB you $845.69 out of your pocket with the diagnostic included. Get it at your own risk of your Rav4 over heating and costing you more money. Don't get me wrong, I love my Rav4, but they have to recall these Rav4's and fix this main problem.

I don't leave reviews, but this warrants one. After being a long time customer, my Toyota needed a to be fixed under warranty. The service department did everything under the sun possible not to fix my car. When I called Toyota to step in, Balise embellished how I modified my car and could not fix it due to the added weight of the 64lb roof rack. Than said they couldn't fix my crash detection because of a insignificant chip in my windshield. They suggested I upgrade my shocks to support the weight of the 64lb rack, and as recently as today said it was not the weight it was the drag of the rack that was effecting my radar in my bumper. After year of leaving messages with the service manager and getting nowhere and no call back, they said my car was out of warranty. This is after me and my wife buying and leasing countless cars with zero complaints from Balise. The last time my wife brought in her car they didn't now how to change her oil and she waited over an hour until they figured it out and than realized they didn't have the oil in stock. They sent her home to come back another day. If I was in the market for a new or used Toyota, I would at minimum skip the service department at Balise. They have to be the most inexperienced team of representatives and could care less about customer care or loyalty. Plenty of other Toyota dealerships in Western Ma. Its to bad, Toyota's sell themselves, be mindful who you want servicing them,.... not this place, they will not help you.

Save your valuable time and money and go anywhere else possible for service. Was told to bring in my car at a specific time, I did and was told nothing could be done at that time and scheduled another time to come in. I left 5 messages over the course of 4 business days (was always directed to a voicemail not a live person). Never received a response.

Unusual for me to leave a negative review. But this was just really frustrating and service phone support was terrible. Tire Deal? Buy 3 and get 1. Sounds like a deal, but is not. Price was $50 more for each tire than anywhere else, in the area or online. (Obviously for the same, exact tires). Install, balance, etc are always additional which is ok. Everyone else also charges for that, so I guess that's normal. Most important point is that this is not a deal if you start off by paying extra **$50 per tire for the 3**, and then get 1 tire?? You already paid for the 4th tire! I did not even know about this upcharge until I looked around and called other places. Was really shocked to learn how much more I was almost charged per tire. Also, was impossible to get a complete price from the service department. I called several times. Every time they immediately transfer me to parts. Parts support was great, but they can only tell me price per tire, not the complete price with install, balance, etc, taxes. Ended up canceling my tire appointment from the frustration. People who work in service phone support have to at least try to sound like they're interested in helping the customer. The "support" that I received from service was very disappointing.

I cannot recommend this dealership, Balise Toyota. I have been a customer for nearly 50 Years. My first car came from Balise. My husband and I have bought 9 Toyotas here and my daughter purchased 3 Toyotas here. We have had every car serviced here as well. My daughter moved to New Jersey. We asked the Sales Manager, Mathias Sherwood to sell her a car recently. I had bought my last car from him as well. He refused and said we only sell to customers from Mass and Conn, not NJ. I then spoke to him subsequently at the dealership when I asked him again to sell a car to her. I wrote a letter to him, the owner and the Service Advisor that I have been using for 20 years. No response at all. Remember, we can remember buying at least 12 cars here and servicing all 12 here. This is beyond disappointing and unfortunate. The message we got is our business is NOT valued by Balise. We will shop and service our cars elsewhere. We will no longer buy Toyotas at all because they allow their dealers in NJ to charge $5000 over list price to gouge their customers there as well. Neither are ethical. I hope you understand our disappointment and point of view.

They are always very pleasant, helpful and professional. I have been a customer there for the last 8 years. Many thanks to Jose Barina who sold me the Toyota Camry 8 years ago. I had a great experience with his service in 2015. Since then I have been taking my car there for service and have been very satisfied. Thank you all. 💞 Dr. Juliet Farrell

We had the best experience buying our new car from Balise Toyota. The entire staff was kind, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. We got the best deal we could find in the entire North East, at the MSRP and without ridiculous add-on fees. We wanted to shout out the three individuals we worked most closely with - Mark Robar, Donnell Hart, and Kevin (?) who introduced us to our new baby. Thank you everyone for turning what would normally be a stressful moment into a wonderful memory.

I recently bought a car from Balise. I worked with Nick & Manny, both are very nice, informative, & will try their best to get the right price for you. There was a little bumps on the way (not their fault or the companies) that made the process a little longer, but I highly recommend them!

If I could give a zero I would. I bought my jeep there and it came with one key. I asked the person who bought it if they would give me another key he said no they only make toyata keys. That I would have to get the key myself. Really paying what was paid for my jeep that still had the warranty on it I had to go to another place to get a second key (fob)myself. Then brought the jeep in again still under warranty because it was making noises in the front waited over and hour for them to come back and say there's nothing wrong and that my jeep was still under warranty at the jeep place. They just didn't want the headache of doing their job. Jeep is still making the noises but there's nothing wrong. I wouldn't go there again. Don't do it.

I dropped my daughter's car off on a Wednesday afternoon for Thursday 11 am appointment to be repaired. By Friday afternoon I still haven't been able to talk to anyone about what is going on with it. I either get there are no notes in the system, your representative is unavailable or everyone is at lunch. I'm starting to think about picking it up and just bringing it somewhere else. Terrible customer service in the service department.

Bought my 2015 RAV4 from your dealership, so planned to come back for routine maintenance. HOW DOES A PRE-SCHEDULED OIL CHANGE TAKE 3 HOURS????? When I say I’ll be waiting with the vehicle? This has happened TWICE, and it really shouldn’t take longer than 30 minutes. Maybe stop scheduling so many vehicles for one time slot? Really makes it feel like you don’t care about your customer’s valuable time, only PROFIT. Not shocking. Next time, I’ll be bringing my car to a different Toyota dealership for maintenance.

Will and Manny went above and beyond what I would have expected from any other dealership that I have ever dealt with to get the car that I wanted. communication was great all throughout the process. I would highly recommend buying from them and will be sure to to tell anyone looking to buy a new vehicle to go straight to Balise of West Springfield.

I was at this location this morning and there was apparently a misunderstanding about where I could go for a free oil change that I receive for purchasing my vehcile with Balise. Ken the manager who I spoke to was not only unhelpful but extremely rude and dismissive. This is not the kind of person who should have a job working with the public. People like Ken are the reason people do business elsewhere. The person I spoke to on the phone from a different branch was very helpful. I am hopeful that the person in charge of Ken teaches him a thing or two about customer service or removes him from that roll because he is incompetent.

Buying a car was seamless. Our salesperson Karen Leonard was so helpful as always. This is our third car from Karen and she is always amazing. Manny walked us right through the finance process and is great to work with.

Service department review: I had a full rear brakes replacement on my Corolla, which is a pricey service. A few days later, I started hearing rubbing in the rear wheel area and scheduled another appointment. Turned out to be a faulty spring, likely unrelated to the brake job. They cleaned and inspected both sides, noise went away, and I was not charged for the return visit. Their oil changes and service jobs are definitely more than your average mechanic shop, but I was pleasantly surprised at this gesture to fix a very disturbing grinding noise at no cost. Thanks for keeping my 190,000 mile car running.

Good luck if you need to order a part from this establishment. Just be ready to deal with a rude customer service representative named Jeff. While explaining what I need, he persistently talked over me before letting me finish my sentences. He asked me for the VIN number to my vehicle, I asked if I could give the plate number since I was unable to give the VIN at that time. He replied “Well no, the plate number is of no use to me. Besides, you need to come into the shop to order any parts anyways so.” The snarky remarks, the high chair attitude, & the inability to just wait a few seconds to let the CUSTOMER explain what he needs. People like Jeff should not be placed in positions where they have to speak with customers. I understand tough days, but mind you, this was at approximately 9:40AM. Be better Balise.

This place is full of ingrates and time wasters. Came here to buy a truck, got put in something I didn’t want and then rushed out when I explained myself. Came back about a year later for service (closest dealership to me now) and my god it’s the same. Had an appointment - No communication, took forever, made me feel dumb for not telling me how it works. Never again on this earth.

Jeff was very professional and took the time to hear us. We got exactly what we wanted in a vehicle. All around everyone was super nice and quickest process I have ever experienced. I highly recommend Balise Toyota for anyone looking to invest in a good vehicle.

Amazing car place however the car wash it provides is horrible. Went there today around 3pm with my boyfriend to clean his car. He got the $24 wash and once we parked to vacuum his car out, the hood of his trunk was SCRATCHED UP! and no, not little scratches they were major and highly visible. Unless, you want your vehicles to be scratched up and need to get a new paint job I do NOT recommend! Highly upset. Thankfully my boyfriend is the nonchalant one and decided to not take any further action because I would’ve stepped.

Well the wait was a little long for having an appt. But if the update on the radio works and I don't have any more issues with the whole system then I will give you 10 stars. I'm just not convinced yet. But I will give you 5 stars because everyone is really nice there.

Was very excited to shop for and hopefully buy a new RAV4 as my mother has an older model that I love driving. When I showed up there was next to nothing newer than a 2019/2020 on the lot. Had to have the front desk staff call a salesperson up to help me, although there were several sitting around at their desks. Upon first greeting I was asked “if I was serious about buying a car because we don’t want you just test driving and putting more miles on the cars”. The salesperson I worked with was quite argumentative. Needless to say I left and took my business elsewhere. Ended up purchasing a brand new SUV from Hyundai later that day. Customer service matters!!

Karl Subklew in the service department is so great at what he does. Very patient and takes the time to answer questions. Balise may not be the cheapest place to get work done, but they are a place I have trusted for all of my cars over the past 30 years!

Thanks to William and Manny for helping me out and explaining every step of my first official car purchase. I could not be any happier with my Toyota. I'm truly thankful for how excellent William was explaining every single detail of the car I was looking for. I'm so thankful that he was honest and straight forward that he didn't try selling me something different or more expensive than what I was looking for. I'm also very thankful that he worked around my budget. I also thank Manny for taking his time and patience to explain everything when it comes to financing a car versus a lease and for helping me have an amazing experience compared to my past experience with my previous dealer. I am also very thankful that he did every thing to make sure I left satisfied and happy im glad I came to this Toyota dealer and had an amazing sales personnel. Thank you both and thank you for your service!

They should be more clear on the warranty's details and cost because it sucks how much your paying and then the cost just to have your car looked at is ridiculous they must think you can magically pull cash out your assets. But nice people and nice cars.
