My friend was asked to leave the gym for recording her workouts. As a super new member I’ve only gone about 10 times and I’ve noticed many people recording their workouts in my little time there. According to a supervisor this gym is “PRIVATE” but, anyone can go in and sign up. I think it’s very much a racist matter because this lady has been harassing her and spoke beyond her professional work barrier, trying to make points completely outside/unrelated to her job. As a minority of the people myself I would like to shine some light on the fact that there are still prejudice people in these current times, and that 1 staff member was most definitely one of them. Not to downplay all the workers there because the staff is very friendly & welcoming! Lastly Notice how they respond to every review. Even the blank ones with stars! They have about 1 negative review and couldn’t even acknowledge the poor guy! Just publicly ignoring him on google. which is probably what’s going to happen to me.

Love this place just way too expensive without an extensive selection of free weight machines. Would love to see a few more chest and shoulder pieces. Also free weight options for legs lacks depth but can be made up on the leverage machines upstairs. I must add that all other amenities here are top-notch, I would even say luxury. If you're going for tennis courts, pickleball courts, indoor track or cardio, this is the place to go. I just happen to focus on the weight floor for my personal needs.

I was hesitant to pay $100/mo for a gym, but this place is top notch and locally owned. As a swimmer, I don’t think you can find a better deal/facilities anywhere for this price. The locker rooms and showers are cleaned continuously throughout the day, there are almost always lanes free to swim, and all swimmers I’ve met are very friendly and happy to lane share. Love the dry sauna, steam room, and hot tub. They even have free shampoo and conditioner in the showers (it’s not high quality but it’s “free”). It’s part gym, part country club, part amusement park. No place is perfect, but this place is close. Please support this awesome local club - we need more places like this as an alternative to the big chain gyms.

Great facility when it comes to the equipment. I wouldn't endorse their business practices, though. I applied for a job as a personal trainer and was interviewed swiftly. I received an email from the manager of the fitness department that they were looking for someone with more "commercial" experience... Which reminded me exactly why I now work on my own as a private trainer. These companies are focused on finding the best salesmen, not the best trainers...

Best all-around gym in the Massachusetts area! Not the best equipment for body building (they could definitely use some more machines), but its overall atmosphere and amenities more than make up for that. With super friendly staff, good classes, and a community feel, I’m yet to find a gym better than this one.

That’s a very nice Club with many activities to do year round, Tennis, Pickle ball, Basketball, Studio classes, Yoga, Spinning bikes, Soft Track running, Gym, weight room, plenty of Cardio machines, Steam room, Sauna, hot tube, warm inside pools and more. They have Summer membership too, very affordable for families who plan to enjoy the summer in the best way. The place is well cared, clean and fancy. You can go around New England or even Nationally and it’s hard to see a healthy Club like this. People really enjoy the days at Cederdale!

I attended the facility for about 1 year. The facility itself is nice, great walking track. They lack specialty equipment for weight training, rhino bars, multi grip bars etc. Most Staff encounter results were not exactly polite or pleasant to work with. They do have rubber weights, which is nice . You’re not able to bring your gym bag with you to your workout station. They have a single heavy bag, drink bar, basketball court. It’s great for people who live in the area and don’t travel. However, if you travel , for work, they make no product to accommodate such a scenario. They simply want you to pay the 109.99, or pound sand . You can’t even pay a daily rate unless you attend with a guest, which is 30 per day. A Savy investor could rehabilitate particular practices and easily increase membership by a minimum of 15-20% and revenue by a minimum of 10% .

Little high end but if you like a highly variable fitness routine, this place will keep your options up. The classes are constant and variable and the trainers are consistent. Very good place to keep it fresh.

Just a wonderful place. Caring , knowable staff, and trainers, clean, well clean is an understatement, spotless is more like it. I am so pleased I chose Cedardale. I absolutely feel they are committed to me and my fitness / health. Simply in a class of its own. You cannot compare the value and services here with places you see advertised on tv, there is NO comparison. And all of the amenities and things for the kids, an on site Physical Therapy facility, the pools, the tennis courts, on site nutritionist and visiting professionals giving lectures....it really is an endless list. This is a complete A to Z, life benefiting organization and unlike anything else I have ever been associated with. I highly recommend stopping by for a visit.

Probably the best multi-purpose fitness clubs around. They have tennis, basketball, heated pool, spa, track etc etc. Wide variety of programs to select from.

Amazing fitness center. I hurt my back and being able to use the hot tub and pool was game changing. Tried a class on core exercising and I felt the burn. The foods even great too. Which is unique for a gym to have good food. Smoothies are really tasty. An expensive membership but worth it

We are so glad we joined. It’s a gorgeous new facility (totally rebuilt), the staff is super friendly, and there is something for everyone. Lots of great classes. Tennis. Pools and more. I’m shocked that someone said there is a lack of diversity here. NOT TRUE. There are lots of POC who are members. There are also people of all ages who belong. It’s a great environment. Highly recommend.

Excellent staff willing to help on every occasion, with a smile too. Wide variety of equipment and free classes for lifting, stretching, calisthenics, yoga, barre, Zumba, water-based workouts, and more. Locker rooms are spacious. Cafe and bar is well-staffed and has food and beverages of all kinds. All-in-one is the best way to describe Cedardale in Haverhill, MA. Tennis, basketball, pools/jacuzzi and pickle ball all have dedicated spaces

Cedardale is an incredible fitness center. Everything is brand new, and the facility is immaculately maintained. Their shift to a COVID world was easy, and they maintain an exceedingly clean and well-organized environment. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating when you have a need. I'm thrilled to have this in town!
