The food was hot, fresh, and delicious! This was my first time trying Joy Food and I must say that it was some of the best Chinese Takeout Food that I’ve had in the area. I was craving some Chinese Food and noticed that they had lots of good ratings, so I called in an order for pickup. When I arrived, I noticed that the restaurant was outdated. It’s basically just a whole in the wall, but don’t let that keep you from trying this gem. The people were so friendly and the prices are very reasonable. I ordered the 10 piece Crab Rangoon, a combination dinner of Sweet and Sour Chicken which came with fried rice and a egg roll, a combination dinner of General Tso’s Chicken which also came with fried rice and a egg roll, and a order of Hot and Sour Soup. Like I stated earlier, everything was great and came to a total of $28 and some change. I highly recommend trying this place out next time you’re in the area.

It’s fast Chinese food for affordable prices. This location is not a cuisine top quality dining experience, but if you’re at home and don’t want to run out this location will bring you the food. I’m not a big fan of most things on the menu but I will say the TSO’s chicken is actually pretty good. Try it out and find out for yourself.

The rice had a weird odor and after taste as well as the egg roll but the main issue is the horrid stench as soon as you enter . As soon as I smelled it I wanted to just walk out running but I didn’t want to be rude . What I ate of the chicken and broccoli was good and fresh but I just couldn’t get the memory of that horrible smell of the place out of my head . Stay away at all costs

I’ve ordered delivery from here multiple times, but went for take out the last time I ordered there and the place smelled like someone had a bowel movement right in the middle of the restaurant. The place was also filthy. The food tasted amazing though before I saw how unsanitary it was inside.

Amazing food. They work hard to get everything out correctly and fast. @Pinnaclefordlincoln ordered from there on the regular for Saturday crew. Never ever had anyone sick or complain of the food.

If you’re reading this review right now it’s Christmas day do not go!!! We never get Chinese food on Christmas but today was the day. And it was a mistake.They have nearly ran out of everything. I ordered an hour ago had been standing in Joy Food for 45 minutes and they failed to tell me they didn’t have what I ordered until I asked about my order. Not sure if they just planned on me hanging out all night or what. Come on Joy food get with the program!!

Watched cook open mouth cough all over food at the grill. Such a shame because food is tasty, but we won't eat here again.

We received a meal from here as a blessing from another family and it is some of the best Chinese I have had in town! We ordered the General Tso and the sweet and sour shrimp chicken fried rice plain lo mein and crab Rangers and everything was literally hot even after driving 15 minutes to get home. It really was well made large portions and The Taste was wonderful!

I heard that this " little hole in the wall" Chinese restaurant was good from a patient. WOW!!! They were wrong, IT WAS GREAT!!!!! I am so glad we found it. Food was hot, fresh and tasted wonderful. I didn't want to stop eating till I was completely stuffed. It is well worth the trip to Brannon crossing. Waited 20 minutes in the store waiting to pick up my called ahead order but the worker was too busy on the phone once she decided to give me the time of day she didn’t even apologize then I also didn’t receive my full order it’s a shame I used to love this place but their customer service just isn’t what it used to be

We had a great experience! Stopped by to get some food to go. My wife is allergic to wheat and they went out of their way to help us choose items that were safe for her to eat as well as modifying dishes accordingly. They were super helpful and very very nice! Great group of folks and the food was amazing!

Here is why I'll be back often: the food tastes great, the portion sizes are generous, and their lunch special prices are the best in town. The lady behind the counter has never yelled at me, unlike the Panera across the street. It is a joy to eat here.

I'm not sure what has changed here, but the quality just isn't the same. It's not bad but it was great...previously. The chicken lo mein was bland. The fried rice was dry to the point of being crunchy. We did a pick up order and had to go back to the store for food that was 'left out of the bag'. I am hopeful they can return to their former level of delicious fresh food and quality service.
