We went to Cabelas today in Bridgeport Ct. it was quite nice and big. Everyone was friendly and nice. Plenty of parking and close to the highway. We enjoyed the day playing deep sea bowling and at the arcade took plenty of pictures. My son also took some pictures at Santa land which is a family tradition. Make your reservation online. We been to the Cabelas i Hartsdale and PA we loved all 3!!!!

1st time going into this place. This place is huge a mini mall if you will 😀 they have great selection of gear for fishing, hunting, boating, atvs, camping... etc. They also have footwear and clothing. This is now my go to place for any of that stuff. I went in just to walk around but come out with hiking boots for my daughter and bow targets... 😆

Oh my God, this place was like an outdoor oasis! My friend and I stopped in to look for sportswear, and ended up staying over an hour just exploring everything in the store! Beautiful place, and we were impressed by the reasonable prices on most of the clothing and shoes.

Took a 2 hour trip to The Bass Pro Shop in CT, with the intention of restocking my personal ammunition that I've depleted and used during the past year. The store is pretty neat, not as big as Cabelas didn't see any significant deals and / or bargains. I had picked out several hunting apparel items, some boxes of shotshell ammunition, and archery targets. Upon attempting to checkout, I was told that I needed a permit in CT in order to purchase ammo. I didn't realize that CT had gotten even worse than NY. You don't need a permit to purchase shotgun ammo in NYS. Any out of state shoppers looking to get ready for your upcoming hunts do not come to BPS if you're looking to purchase ammo. Otherwise, it's a cool looking store, but I am unable to fulfill my outdoor needs.

I don't care if you are not an outdoor type of person, this is just a great location to stop and walk around. Right on the side of RT 95, I was heading south and needed someplace to take a break and walk around. This store was beautiful. My family and I spent a good 90 minutes walking around just looking at the décor as well as all the items for sale. Great place to stop and walk around, and of course great place to shop for all of our outdoor needs. Pay attention as you walk around, the detail is quite special. From the outdoor theme through out the store, to the footprints stamped in the floor, and of course the great product. A fun stop.

First time visiting bass, pro shop. Get great place to have all fishing related and good stuff. Nice place to go with your children and have fun learning some fishing. Good concepts to show cash and sell fishing products.

I'm not sure what some people on here are complaining about. It was my first time here even though I am only a few towns over and they had EVERYTHING and HUGE selection of so much. Prices were very reasonable. I took my 9 year old son on a week day and it was my bday so wanted to check it out. We spent about a half day here. I bought fishing gear and clothes, then we went bowling which was awesome. The lanes and decor look like under the sea. Then we played games and walked around store again. The decor of the store was great and between that and the merchandise, you still won't see everything on the first visit. I can't wait to go back with with family. Definitely a cool experience for anyone.

Excellent store for all your outdoor needs. Fishing, Hunting, Camping. Stores is well stocked & huge. Staff was extremely helpful. Directly off of I95. Short walk from Bridgeport Metro North train station, but that area is not the greatest.

Love this place. Definitely a hike to get to from where I live (1.5hrs each way) but it is what it is. BASS PRO: please build new locations either in Northern New Jersey or lower NY state area. Its fishing season so nearly all hooks, weights, line, etc were sold out. Kyacks mostly sold out. Had great help in the gun/knife section as I was looking at some new Leatherman multitools.

What a visual interesting place to visit. I am against hunting/killing animals but there was so much to see here. The scenery setups are cool, there's a fish tank and tells you which there are, big fish. The gun section is large and busy. There is a QR code, take a number and get in line. Bowling and some other stuff.

Excellent outdoor store. Winter clothing and boots are fully stocked, very clean and organized, the staff was very helpful, the store itself is very cabin cozy atmosphere, and yes their huge fireplace was a great sight on entrance.

There is always something to see and do here. We took our parents and they had the best time, as did we. The prices were very reasonable, and the staff very helpful. We had patrons thank my father in law for his service, made his day.

First time here and it was perfect to kill a few hours on a rainy day. Everything you need for all outdoor needs. Definitely a large selection! We also stopped to watch a fish demonstration on different lures that attract the fish. Good for kids and adults.

Such a beautiful store. Fun to walk around and they have a good hot sauce selection for sale. Bowling alley looks so cool. And food at the tavern was also good bartender was nice.

Bass Pro shop is great for hunting fishing and outdoor needs. located in the beautiful city of Bridgeport. This Bass Pro Shop is a welcome sight in the area. Kids love the fish and the animals all over the store will keep the entertained while you look at adult stuff. There is a restaurant attached to it with bowling. Easy access off the highway and on ramp back on the highway.

This place was so pretty and it was awesome how the bowling area was right in there too.

We had an absolutely amazing time if you could not find what you were looking for as far as the outdoors are concerned they're must be something wrong with you because this place has everything, stuff I've been looking for for years I was able to purchase truly a fantastic day.

This rating is for my experience with an employee named Leah in the hunting department at the Bridgeport, CT location. I’ve never know anyone to have such a terrible firearm purchase experience like I did. The stores selection is minimal, so I had to purchase it online and ship to the store for pickup. Leah had asked if it was my first purchase and I told her it was. So I expected clear guidance through the process. The application is completed on a touch screen at there store. Some of the questions have contradicting verbiage that almost seem intended for someone to answer incorrectly. At no point did she walk me through these questions KNOWING I was not familiar with any of it. I’m not even sure why she asked that question at this point since I didn’t receive the guidance. Once the application was completed…she first said the purchase was going to have to be put on hold. Then she said I couldn’t purchase the firearm TODAY. THEN I had to play 21 questions to try and understand what was going on. THEN she said I could never purchase a firearm from their stores for misunderstanding a question on the app she didn’t bother to explain. She was very robotic, short with her answers, possessed a pretty unkind manner, and didn’t care to explain ANYTHING in CLEAR detail. I felt like she genuinely did not want to help me and I felt she treated me like a criminal. It isn’t even a state policy, it’s their store policy. It was extremely upsetting to receive no guidance and be treated so poorly. I’ve never received that kind of treatment from an employee at a retail store. I was absolutely stunned. The fact she’s been there five years, …she should understand what customer service is and how to provide customer knowledge of store products/services. I went to a different, local gun shop whom had a much better selection, more knowledge, and walked me through the application process. It was 1000% better of an experience than with Bass Pro. I would never recommend purchasing a firearm from Bass Pro. The way I was treated and the service alone will prevent me from ever making any kind of purchase at that store. If you do go, ask for someone who is not Leah.

There is nothing bad you could say about Bass pro shop. I just absolutely love their merchandise. The atmosphere is so warm. The only complaint I have is the smell of the food in the arcade and bowling area.

This place is giga sized with two floors with an awesome themed interior to bring the outdoors inside. You'll find everything to satisfy those adventurous outdoor activities you have been craving. You can just walk around for an hour exploring all corners of this shop and find something interesting. Walked out with a few items before leaving.
