We stayed at the Junior suite in powder pink for 3 nights (1 adult and 1 child) There were a lot of positives I found: + peaceful location and very close to the horse stable which was amazing as we love horses + beautiful garden + warm welcome at the reception + beautiful room (except the sofa that absolutely did not match the furniture and looked very cheap) + kids corner with plenty of toys + whatever we ate at the restaurant was delicious + easy check-in and check-out using the app But unfortunately there were things that lessened the great experience we were having: - gravel road so had to carry all our luggage from the parking lot outside the garden (I was prepared for that one thanks to the reviews from previous guests) - a lot of noise from the neighbors above and next to us so did not sleep well - no kettle or other useful room amenities available - mold in the pool room and a rather unpleasant moldy smell in that area - we wanted to go to jacuzzi instead but could not use it as the water had greenish color to it and a few flies swimming in it already - breakfast options very limited. At 9 AM, there was no apple juice or scrambled eggs left. Now I understand scrambled eggs take a while to make and refill, but apple juice?! - mixed feelings about being charged 89CZK for tap water especially when we almost exclusively ate at the Chateau - also mixed feelings about us eating lunch and the staff shifting tables around us preparing for some afternoon event Overall I thought even the discounted price we paid for our stay was too much for the value we got in return. I would not return unless my child demands we go there again.

My friends stayed there when visiting. The service/food is not a good value for money. Instead of crying for not receiving good review the owner should listen to the customers to make improvements. I would start by properly maintaining the jacuzzi. By the way the pretentious term “Chateau” ,where does this come from, every hotel outside city nowadays is called chateau.

Located outside of Prague, chateau Trnová is a beautiful place to relax and escape the busy city. A great place for a romantic staycation. Enjoyed a five course dinner. Wine pairing with each course was great and there is a very good selection of Czech wines. Had the pleasure meeting the owners of chateau Trnová who gave us a nice insight about the history of the property and showed us around.

A group of 12 of us stayed at Chateau Trnova just for one Sunday night - and we could not have enjoyed it more! Finn and Marketa were so warmly welcoming and delighted in talking us through the character and history of the place (over a generous and lovely free Czech champagne!). The food was fantastic, the wine list excellent, the bedrooms very comfortable and tastefully furnished... and it was so quiet outside that we could enjoy open windows all night in the hot weather instead of air con (but they have that too). We couldn't fault the whole experience. Thank you, Finn and Marketa!

Super place to stay for a while and as a place to start from visiting Prague or other towns. In the end it was a bit busy and all rooms occupied...at that time there could be 2 persons in kitchen and breakfast room to keep the flow and food on the table. Nevertheless, staff was really friendly and helpful. Would go again.

We, a bunch of friends, had the pleasure of enjoying an gourmet dinner with wine pairing. Food quality and presentation was impeccable, wine pairing perfect and the service very attentive. The tour of the chateau was impressive as well.

We had a wonderful stay at Chateau Trnová. We booked in for a couple of nights for some relaxation time following a busy week of sightseeing in Prague and it was just perfect. It's located in a quiet village on the edge of the countryside, but less than 30 minutes drive to either central Prague or the main airport. We hadn't realised at the time of booking that the reception wasn't due to be open the day we arrived, as there were no other guests arriving until later in the week, but they very kindly made an exception and opened so we could check in that day, which we very much appreciated. The hotel itself was a sanctuary for us to relax in, with comfortable rooms in a peaceful and beautiful building with fascinating history. We loved the swimming pool and rooftop whirlpool and the bar and restaurant was very cosy and welcoming. The food was fantastic also. We enjoyed a lovely fresh fruit platter when we arrived, had a delicious dinner in the restaurant on our second evening and had an amazing breakfast both mornings. We went home absolutely relaxed and refreshed. The whole team here were so friendly and welcoming and they put so much effort in to making sure their guests have a relaxing stay. The perfect spot for a tranquil break away from everyday life.

Nice Chateau just outside of Prague. Rooms are comfortable and looks like new. Food is perfect and the staff is very friendly. During the sunday brunch there was entertainment for kids prepared, which I consider a huge benefit. We will definitely come again.

Have seen Chateau Trnova after 5 years and was amazed, how magical and lovely that place become! It always had that romantic mood but now new team is building a luxury resort very close to Prague! Great food and can't wait to see what they will prepare for a next summer! We are working in event business and it's such a blessing to have people who care and have such an approach! So if you want to organise an event or have a wedding it's a great option for it!

A wonderful chateau hotel just 30 minutes outside of Prague in a peaceful setting with breathtaking gardens. The rooms are modern, include comfortable beds, large flat TVs and spacious bathrooms. The hotel's rooftop offers a chill out area, a sauna and a whirlpool, while an indoor pool on the ground floor is facing one of the hotel's garden. The chateau's restaurant offers delicious meals to be served in the lobby hall or on the garden terrace on warm days.
