My poor rating for this company is not a bash to any of their doctors. Their doctors are there at a time of need. Now, when we get to billing department. So while the billing goes thru insurance and such, it adds a few days and they send their final notice. We have all been there once or twice. But these guys decided to add "your failure to pay deductibles and coinsurance may cause interruption to your insurance" Wait, so you are going to cancel and interrupt my paid for insurance. Have you ever heard of the illinois patient best care.??? Then when I call to complain, they asked me if I wanted their lawyers number. Game on lady

Extremely poor communication skills. I was given a medication that I had on my pre-op history and physical not to give me, it's used by me for sleep and 100mg will put me out for 8 hours so they have me 300mg every 8 hours and I stopped breathing while sleeping and had to be put on oxygen. They blamed it on narcotics, I refused it once I found out they were giving it to me and I was finally able to wake up, then was given nothing else for pain after a hip replacement. I was kept in an extra day for a known issue that the doctor didn't understand, he should have called in a cardiologist consult but wanted to figure it out himself. Then on my summary that was sent to my PCP he stated that "patient reported" the issue. That never belongs on a report! Maybe patient started but only Md's report or nurses sometimes but not the patient. The experience was painful, frustrating and dangerous. And lack of communication was the number one reason.

Once their physician checked me while I was in the hospital. Basically it was "how are you feeling" type visit from the physician. It took him less than five minutes but they had bill as extended visits. They don't respond to your inquiries about billing in a timely manner.

I get bills from them, but I do not know what they did for me. I have called, I have left messages, I have written letters. It is May and my surgery was January 3. I recall a Doctor coming in stating he worked with the surgeon. I was under morphine. Completely misrepresented as I assumed he meant he worked in the surgeons office. Most people probly go ahead and pay the $263, but I will not.

This group of doctors are considered as your Primary Care doctor during your hospital stay. They have good and bad doctors. Meaning some care about your health and others are all about the money. Dr. Rahika Chaturvedi Huliyar is one of the doctors who don't care about your health. She visit my room and I was in the bathroom, she asked if she could talk to me while I was in the bathroom, She never asked if I was okay or if I need any assistance. She insisted on talking to me through the bathroom door. If you are my PCP you are suppose to see me and check my lungs, heart and legs beacuse I am a heart patient on the Cardiac floor. When she came back to see me, she stood by the door barely coming in the room like I was a disease. The other doctors from this group did check my heart beat, lungs, legs and talked to me about my health. Also my insurance paid Best Practice Inpatient Care and they still continue to send me a bill. I have called their office several times and no one have called me back. I spoke to the hospital and requested not to see this group of doctors when and if I am ever admitted in the hospital again. Please beware of this doctor and the Best Practices Inpatient Care. LTD.

I don't know who these people are. Condell sends their own bills.

This is a service that will bill you for doctors that you've never seen, who have never visited you, and have never submitted a bill to your insurance company. In other words it is a fraudulent business that my insurance provider has instructed me to NEVER send them any money. In Illinois they are forbidden to charge any more $$ than your in network doctors charge. This is a scam operation that threatens with a collection company (illegal) to collect monies that is operating on the hope that an uninformed patient will send them money. Besides Illinois, there are many other states with similar legislation that forbid these scammers from extracting monies from vulnerable patients.

These doctors treated my father when he was in the hospital. They were all wonderful and very helpful. They would take time to spend with my father so he understood everything and answered any questions he had. Than they would also call me to let me know the update on him. They also kept in contact with his specialists. They are wonderful. I would recommend them to ant inpatient.

Unsung heroes of medicine. These people take care of you when you're the sickest you can get in the hospital - and do behind the scenes work to keep you alive. PCP's don't travel to hospitals like they used to, and I think it's better that way anyway. The negative reviews on here are so short sighted. When your'e in the hospital after a surgery - YOUR surgeon is the one that ASKS these guys to help take care of your health following the surgery while you're recovering - because in truth your surgeon, while probably wonderful, focuses only on the SURGERY itself, and making sure you don't have any immediate complication following it --- these guys make sure your health is maintained in the hospital - your pain controlled - and effects from anesthesia monitored. I agree it sucks that so many hands have to be in the pot - and an expense that is not anticipated - but that's what is needed to keep you safe.
