Over the years I’ve had surgeons for different injuries. Without a doubt, Dr. Roger Chams is the Best. He has always been honest and is straight forward with my issues. He answers all that I ask. I always leave his office feeling so good that I have Dr. Roger Chams as my caring doctor.

Dr Chams is a very caring and conscientious physician. He performed a shoulder surgery on me. Between the physical therapist at IBJ (Tera and Jackie), and Dr Chams guiding my care. I am back to full range of motion and pain free. I would not hesitate to return for surgery if needed with the experience I had.

Went in for a ruptured bicep but Dr Chams discovered a completely torn rotator cuff. It was quite extensive but he was able to repair both. Kept me informed every step of the way and I am well on my way to a full recovery. Moreover, painless all the way. I am Lucky to have Dr. Chams and all his staff operate and help me recover.

All the staff is very knowledgeable, caring and thorough. I always use IBJI for all my bone and joint issues. I will not even consider another provider as they have really helped me with every issue. They have X-ray and MRI on site so it makes it faster to get diagnosed. Would recommend 10/10

Repeat client to IBJI. I have had four different experiences over the course of 20 years. Professional and friendly staff are pleasant to work with. Along with highly regarded surgeons, the practitioners and nursing staff take the time to ensure you are educated to the activities required to make you feel comfortable and healthy. This in spite of the busy and hectic schedules they all are required to maintain.

Dr Chams is my hero! He did a phenomenal job with my serious injury (band made an unpleasant experience positive and bearable. The surgery went flawless and the recovery process is currently following the same path. Dr Chams acumen is both highly skilled, experienced and exceptional bedside manners that continues with his entire staff and assistants. Highly, highly, highly recommended.

The Staff at Illinois Bone and Joint are Outstanding. Dr Chams is so down to earth ,his Personality and the way he treats you shows that he really likes his job.The same with his Medical Staff. Kim the Medical assistant is Great ,Very good patient care all the time. The only Negative is the Long wait . The front desk staff is good about letting you know the Doctor is running behind.

Absolutely appreciate this place and the people! They may run late and honestly, it's fine, because I wouldn't go anywhere else. Have has shoulder surgery and knee is probably next. Friendly, helpful, courteous, professional and just downright awesome

Dr. Chams has been awesome. He performed meniscus surgery on my left knee and him and his staff have been very professional and helpful during my whole process threw this.

Dr. Chams and his team were wonderful! Not only were they able to see me the same day I called after an urgent care visit, I was able to get in for an MRI same day as well which allowed me to surgery scheduled. Surgery and post op care has been fantastic. Dr.Chams explained everything from the different ways the surgery could be performed to how the injury affected my mobility. All of my questions were answered and while I don’t recommend getting a knee injury if you do get one visit Dr. Chams!

Staff is extremely polite and professional. Dr. Chams took the time to thoroughly explain my situation, and showed genuine empathy and concern for my needs. Dr Chams and his staff are excellent..Between Dr. Chams Dr. Thadani,and Dr Vora I have my life back and @61 I’m feeling pretty darn good. Much better since the beginning of 2016. It’s very well known in our community and beyond that doctor Chams is truly the best surgeon when it comes to shoulder and knee surgery. Not only his clinical and technical skills are implacable but he is also very approachable with great bedside manners. When it come to my own health and orthopedic needs, I didn’t second guess myself and had shoulder surgery with doctor Chams. My case wasn’t easy and recovery was complicated do to complexity of my injuries but I got through it with great help of this phenomenal physician and his amazing team. Even if you have to wait to schedule your appointments or be delayed for your visit (because he is so busy and his waiting room is packed) - it’s absolutely worth waiting. You always should trust your health in hands of the best medical professionals . That way I highly recommend doctors Chams and his team.

I had Bicep tenodesis and labral repair of my left shoulder. Dr Chams did a fantastic job of surgically repairing it. My shoulder now feels better then before my injury. Dr Chams did an excellent job of communication of what I was going to expect from surgery and rehab. I would highly recommend Dr Chams.

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Chams and his Professional staff. Through all aspects of the care, from the early prep where the proposed surgical repair was explained to me, to the actual day of the surgery, Dr Chams always made the time to explain all aspects of the repair and recovery. I never felt rushed. He answered all of my questions and did not leave until I was satisfied with his answers. If there were questions post surgery, Paul Ziamba a member of his team always got back to me as quickly as possible. This was the second shoulder repair for me and in both cases I am back to my normal life. Granted ongoing PT is critical but I have been able to resume my life. His medical talent is second to none as well as his communication skills and interest that you recover. I hope you never require shoulder repair but if you do you need to call Dr. Chams!!

I am extremely satisfied and happy with my shoulder replacement and rotator cuff repair done by Dr. Chams of IBJI! I had virtually no pain during my recovery and rehab...I am now at 7 months post-surgery, and my range of motion and functionality is outstanding. I get stronger day every day and I no longer have the punishing pain from the osteo arthritis I had pre-surgery. I am so satisfied that i have referred family members for consultation and follow-up surgery with Dr. Chams...thank you so much doctor for your excellent work!

Awesome experience, from first visit, two MRI, to follow up visit, to surgery. I completely trust Dr. Chams expertise. He’s definitely not “quick to cut”, but when he does he does an amazing job. I received a copy if the video of the surgery to review, during which time Dr. Chams was speaking to me about what he was saying through the video. Dr. Chams was thorough and easy to work with. While it turned out my Dads issue was not his expertise he still took time to talk with him and provide some temporary relief. He recommended someone else in the practice and we had an appointment scheduled with that doctor prior to leaving the office.
