I have been taking my sons (age 5 and 1) to Foss since they were about 6 months old. I absolutely love the program, the facility, and the staff. Recently my youngest son was terrified of the water. I expressed this to his instructor, Tim, and he worked patiently with him and adjusted his teaching to my sons needs. By the end of the quarter my son is no longer afraid and voluntarily jumps in the water. You truly do see growth and change in a fun way happening with you kids and the instructors. I could go on all day about how wonderful this swim school is! I recommend to anyone wanting to teach their children not just how to swim but true water safety as well!

Our 4 year old went from being scared of the water to looking forward to swim class every week. I did park district lessons with my older kids, but this is way better! My daughter is making progress faster than my older kids did in other lessons. Would definitely recommend.

Signed up myself and my three children. I'm almost 40, they're all school aged. Zero previous swimming experience and now we're all swimming freestyle and backstroke! I can't put into words how much I love this program and their teaching style. Listen to the teachers and practice on your own, you'll be swimming in under 8 sessions!

My daughter is about to be 3 and absolutely loves coming to class. Big shout out to Miss Karen. Always full of energy and playful with the kids, she makes it so fun with them. Goldfish was ok but I felt as Foss was more structured in actually teaching swim techniques while incorporating play time. My daughter has grown tremendously in her swim journey since joint Foss.

Very upset with the recent changes with the policies. You have to enroll for the whole quarter pay almost to a dollar per minute charges and you will not be compensated for any of your plan leaves even though if it is one month ahead of planning. I have two kids going to foss for so long. This policy really makes it so bad that if I miss one single week due to any function or vacation then I lose almost lose $60 on that week. Foss gave me a reason that they are privately owned, and they can make their own rules and not bound to compensate for any missing classes very similar to the public school. They think that people miss classes intentionally if they get compensated by another class. I can understand the last minute miss can lead to bit loss but if more than a week before if you plan the why that management can’t be done. Another reason they gave that there 3000 families which are coming if they start compensation then it will be 2500 compensation which will be difficult for them to manage so they decided not compensate them anymore. I can infer that too many people like Foss so they started taking advantage of it.

Foss is the best swim school around. Great teachers. I was a Gold Fish member the same time as Foss. What a difference. Gold Fish was horrible from the teachers to the too many kids in each class to the tiny dressing room. You want professional go to Foss.

,no We just completed our 2nd class at Foss and it has been an amazing experience so far! The staff is very friendly and helpful and the facility and pool are very clean! Both my children have been doing so well since switching schools! Highly recommend for any swimmers!

The facility is great the instructors are great, but it's a little crowded. It would be better if all the non pool extra family members (after taking video) would wait on the viewing room.

They are very friendly, well trained and good with kids! They have a good supply of things for purchase in the event you forget anything. Definitely recommend. Mr. Mike is great!

My 10 month absolutely loves Foss and his instructor Diana! She’s extremely knowledgeable and makes you feel so comfortable off the bat. Super clean environment as well.

We love Foss! It's clean and the staff is amazing. Miss Christina is the best. She's very energetic and friendly. The classes have not only taught my daughter skills but helped bring her out of her shell.

We had our daughters 9 and 5 at Foss Libertyville. We had a great experience. Dedicated instructors who spent one one one time with our kids. Kids have made great progress with their swimming skills. We are pleased.

Foss is one of the best swimming schools. Their classes are put together to set up your children for success. Instructors are trained properly. They are engaging with children and always have a smile to greet you and say goodbye. I don't like the signing up process for privates, but I completely understand due to the demand. My autistic toddler does great at Foss (we have tried other schools when we moved to gurnee), but nothing can be compared to Foss. 👏

If you are looking to send your kids to swim school I recommend Foss Swim School in Libertyville. My daughters have been taking swim lessons there for a couple years now and the entire staff is GREAT! The swim instructors really work with your kids if they are having any kind of difficulty in the water! My daughters love it! Check out Foss!

Great school! Our both kids attend this school. Instructors are very patient and skillful in teaching kids to swim. Front desk and pool managing staff has a great customer service skills and very quick to answer your questions and to make your experience perfect. Thank you Christina and Gladys . We would highly recommend Foss for kids to learn swimming . Their program is great! Our 6 years old d can’t wait to go back for next quarter.
