I was flying into Wisconsin to DJ a wedding, and chose to rent equipment from Sound Check. As last minute as the gig was, these guys still managed to hook me up with quality equipment, at a very reasonable rate! Their customer service was solid too, helping me load equipment and giving a quick tutorial on how to connect all the wires (in case I didn't know). If you're in need of renting sound equipment, I can't recommend these guys more!

Michael, owner of Sound Check Entertainment, is a fantastic DJ. He is professional, very experienced, great to work with, everything you want in a DJ. Michael was an excellent choice for music at our daughter's wedding. A wedding day represents so many months of planning, you need to surround yourself with professionals who really know their business. Michael is one of those people. Highly recommend.

Michael was great to work with. Response time was great whether by email, phone, or text. He made sure to provide the correct equipment for the event without pushing me to rent unnecessary gear. Pick up and drop off was set up in a way that made me feel like the priority. Michael had everything set up and connected to prevent any issues - I should have listened better about the generator. When I ran into an issue the generator 20 min before the event, Michael guided me through! The pricing was very reasonable. I would gladly recommend Sound Check Entertainment!

These guys have great equipment, helpful and laid back service, and we're willing to do what it takes to make sure my event was a success. I will be back! I just rented from Michael again and as it was in the past, great equipment and spectacular service! Thanks for making our event a success!

DJ Mike was awesome for our sons wedding! We had an outdoor wedding at our house with 250 people...a large crowd to handle. Large range of people in ages and styles. DJ Mike kept the party hopping into the night! I have actually had several people call me throughout the week complimenting him....that tells you something! I would highly recommend him for any fun gathering you have.

Mike was our DJ and bandleader for my wedding in December 2021. If I could give 10 stars, I would. We had crazy demands and he accommodated everything. The planning was impeccable. We had total control of our setlist for the ceremony, dinner, band set and DJ sets throughout the night. Mike has a great sense of what will work and is great at steering you in the right direction. As big fans of his Live Band Karaoke band, we requested 'em and he brought 'em. We scripted out a 10 song set with us and our friends and family who are singers, and he added that to the show. Our maid of honor got sick and couldn't attend. Mike rolled with the punches and had her record an MP3 of her speech. He was able to play it crisply and clearly for everyone in the 200 or so audience to tear up to. For this alone we will be forever grateful. The ceremony and dinner went off without a hitch. Songs were perfectly timed and audio was crystal clear for our pastor and all the dinner speeches. The band ROCKED. Annie was incredible on vocals and the group was tight. The dance floor was bumping all night. The set with us and my friends was perfect and truly a highlight of my life. I CAN'T recommend more highly.

We booked DJ Mike J for our wedding on 3/25/2023 and he was amazing! Highly recommend his services. You don't work with a DJ company that assigns you a DJ, etc., you work directly with Mike the whole way through the process, which was a huge plus for us. Mike understands how to read a dance floor and he also understands weddings can be fluid events. He was really flexible and rolled with all the punches. We had people on the dance floor the entire night -- not once was it empty! Mike was also really smart about how he approached our requested songs knowing when to play them, and to make sure we were ready. Mike also had all the equipment needed to run our ceremony in a separate room than the reception. I honestly don't have enough good things to say and would happily hire Mike again.

My husband and I knew we wanted a live band to perform at our and we hired Sound Check Entertainment. Mike Glassman and the entirety of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels exceeded all expectations!!! Mike worked as the DJ and emcee for our ceremony/cocktail and everything went off without a hitch. He was communicative, flexible, and all-around a pleasure to work with. The band absolutely crushed it. They sounded amazing and were full of energy. Our dance floor was packed the whole entire night (on a Sunday evening no less). All of our guests couldn’t stop complimenting how awesome the band was. I would highly recommend Sound Check Entertainment, Mike, and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels to anyone and everyone. You will not be disappointed!!
