The new playground and water park are fantastic. The water park is free to Waukegan residents, has a fenced splash pad for littles and a fenced water playground with 5 water slides for older kids. There is a roaming lifeguard in the big kid area, as well as employees to direct kids to wait in line for the slides. They serve food and drinks and there are plenty of chairs/tables for adults to supervise. You can also bring a picnic to eat just outside at one of the picnic tables or under the gazebo. Your wristband allows you to exit/enter as needed. The playground has foam flooring, higher areas are completely gated, lots of swings and baby swings. You really can't go wrong with a day spent here.

I had an amazing show for the 2022 Senior walk. The staff was friendly and helpful. The water park looks amazing and the jungle gym looks like something from ninja warrior 😆. My kinda town.

🤠🤗👍👍👍👍👍 Wonderful location for the kids I.E. a pool, they have a fantastic Senior Center there also. Exercise classes, vacation trips and such, they've got a lot going on there if you just go and check it out. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

What an impressive park! There is something for everyone here. The playground itself is huge and has a lot of diverse options. There’s a splash pad with slides too! I’m not sure how much it costs to enter though. Aside from the amazing play structure there is a walking trail, a little outdoor gym, as well as musical toys, sports courts, picnic areas, and space to run and play.

My kids had a blast here! Passed by on our way somewhere else and the 3 yo talked about it the whole way so we stopped on the way back! This park has everything, it’s spacious, a kid’s play dream!

Most. Epic. Playground. Ever. AND there is a water park. Splash pad. Great for littles to big kids. Need to be a certain height for slides. No deep water.

This was such a fun park. The little water play area located on the other side is open Saturdays and Sundays for a fee.

This is an amazing place to go to, my family was excited. It's got small water slides. A huge bucket that spills water after you hear the bell ring. Squirt guns and an area for smaller children. There is plenty of seating and tables for when you want to munch on your snacks. But don't worry if you forgot your snacks, there is a concession stand where you can purchase a snack. The best part of this place is that it doesn't really get packed, at least in the past few times I have gone. So if you want to have fun this place has a bit of everything.

I Love The Renovation! This Park Is Absolutely Awesome. It Has Good Variety Of Swings, Slides, Etc. Splash Town Seems To Be The Favorite Area Of This Fabulous Park. It Has A Nice Walking Trail, Basketball Courts, As Well As Other Areas For Activities.

I really like this place is a very nice, and kids can have fun there. The only reason I don't go very often, is because people have to be very careful with aggressive, rude and impolite kids over 5 years. My babe is only 2. Even adults have to be careful.

Honestly one of the coolest parks I have ever seen! I wish I was a kid so I could play in this cool park! Awesome slides, swings and all sorts of other cool interactive activities! A nice drum area with different types of percussion! Looks like a sweet water park next to it and nice volleyball courts, basketball courts and a sweet baseball field! Would highly recommend!

Definitely one of the best parks in all of Lake County. Worth coming and spending a full afternoon here.

Nice park but filled with teenagers using derogatory slurs and I found a pocket knife under the smaller children’s slide. The teenagers could have been avoided had we gone at a different time but the knife is ridiculous.
