Wonderful coffee place. It has only one comfortable seating area right at the entrance but it has a huge hall where folks can sit and work / study. They have good collection of coffee. We ordered Bourbon Pecan Latte and Blueberry Muffin Latte. I requested for extra hot and girl who was making my coffee was very considerate and kind and made sure she gave us extra hot coffee. Unfortunately, the guy who took my order was not a kind of pleasing personality. We loved both the lattes we ordered. They have lot of things to sell too like, coffee beans, coffee machines, merchandise. Loved the place. Will definitely go back there.

Very unique building, very cool.. Honey latte was really good - not too sweet. Wanted to also try the pour over... maybe next time.

My coworkers and I wanted get coffee after lunch. Was a great idea! Food: I normally don’t get coffee. I got the iced Chai which I really liked. The cashier really helped my friends and I pick great options. Service: Our cashier really was talkative and offered up options for use which we really liked. Atmosphere: Or ambiance like it call it, was really open and welcoming. The staff at the shoppe really made comfortable! Overall, I have to say one of the best coffee staff and shops I have ever been to.

Great coffee shop! Tasty drinks, and you get a discount if you bring your own mug. (Not sure if it has to be Hansa-branded, but mine is.) Lots of room to hang out and work or catch up with friends. The staff is great as well. This morning, they expedited my latte so I could make it to the train. I really appreciated that!

Great coffeeshop roaster in downtown Libertyville IL. I grew up in this area from 72 to 91 and we never had coffee like this. The service was great and very helpful. The vibe is quiet and relaxing. Love it and will be back before I leave town.

Awesome converted garage. They made a great shot of espresso from their La Marzocco machine and served it traditionally with soda water. The espresso was full bodied, slightly sweet and well dialed in. Will be back!

This place feels more like a roaster warehouse than a coffee shop. Nevertheless, it feels authentic. Coffee is good and perhaps above most of the other coffee shops in the suburban area. However, I think the real attraction to the place is the aforementioned coolness of an authentic coffee roaster.

I absolutely love this coffee shop! The service is top-notch, and the coffee is consistently amazing. What sets it apart is the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. Everyone who works here is so awesome. I'm willing to go out of my way just to enjoy a cup of coffee here. Highly recommended!

This coffee place is truly wonderful. It boasts a spacious hall for those looking to work or study. Their coffee selection is impressive, and we tried the Flat White and Daily Brew, both of which were delicious. The extra hot request was handled with care, reflecting the considerate staff's kindness. We also enjoyed the lattes we ordered. The place offers various coffee-related items for sale, including beans, machines, and merchandise. The staff is not only welcoming but also efficient. This place certainly lives up to its wonderful reputation, and we'll definitely be returning for their delicious and comforting coffee. Overall, they're doing a fantastic job. Keep it up!

Great cup of coffee. My wife loved her latte. They had a jar you could put money in to support the troops. Pretty awesome.

Been going here for a few years now and never disappointed with the quality of coffee and specialty espresso drink. The best out there!

Love the indoor/outdoor coffee seating experience. Really good and fresh baked goods with flavors you don't get from "SevenBucks" coffee

Had an excellent cappuccino with a cherry almond scone it was delicious 😋 they had a wonderful additional seating area for added privacy. The staff even came and took our mugs and plates when we finished! This place is well known and it deserves its wonderful reputation! I wish their software let you tip with a card! Keep up the great work.

Their coffee is delicious and comforting. Staff is welcoming and efficient. Nice space inside. Small amount of tables and chairs for couples outside. TRY THE SCONES! Every one I’ve had has been great. Even flavors I didn’t think I’d like. Who knew I’d like scones?? Treat yourself.

Have been going here for a couple years now and there's never been one bad experience. Everyone there goes above and beyond! The coffee is the best I've had and it is and has been my only coffee shop I go to. You are always treated kindly and everyone always has a smile on their face. The seating is amazing as well. The seating area is extremely comfortable and the entire facility is very clean. 10/10 recommend. They also have baked goods which is great for on the go and sitting down to eat and drink coffee with. The tea is also fantastic.

Everything about our visit to Hansa was a delight. The lady who took our order was patient and kind. The order came out quickly and at the perfect temperatures. The drinks were not too sweet (something that bothers me elsewhere), but there was also sugar and simple syrup to the side for those who prefer a sweeter treat. I got a lovely chocolate croissant and my husband got the chocolate chip bread. Both were good, but I was especially impressed that the bread wasn't overly sweetened or greasy. Would gladly come back next time we're in the area.

Come for the coffee, stay for the atmosphere! Hansa has great coffee (I got the Bourbon Pecan latte from their Fall '22 specialty menu), friendly, welcoming staff, and great vibes! Definitely worth a stop.

I think out of the handful of times I've gotten coffee from here they've only gotten my order right twice. Some of the employees are nice while others aren't. Coffee tastes old and burnt, not like a quality Colombian coffee. They are good with giving you your order quickly and the atmosphere is nice as there's plenty seating.

Adequate drinks… coffee wasn’t great. Decent place to study but there weren’t many outlets available to charge laptop.

People are very nice and helpful, but the coffee isn't great if you like pour overs. It will get you by in a pinch, but it really doesn't compare to a lot of other options that are local. Newport is a good local example of better coffee. What it lacks in flavor, it makes up in cost. If you're looking for value, this is a good choice. If you're looking for an excellent cup of coffee, this probably isn't going to do it for you. Atmosphere is pretty good. You can come to hang out or study, or just read a book and it's a comfortable place to be. Service is excellent. People are friendly and helpful. Really doesn't get better.

Great environment to study and socialize. The staff are really nice. Sadly something about the cold brew taste off...

A top-shelf coffee oasis near the Metra station in downtown Libertyville, this friendly laid-back shop is as warm & welcoming as they come. I live near great coffeehouses in NJ, and live for the cafe experience -- Hansa Coffee has superb brewed coffees, a broad palette of coffee bean options to purchase, and tasty baked goods for whatever your preference. If I lived anywhere near this excellent cafe, it would likely become my "happy place". It's a genuine find!

The product, retail location and people are all amazing! I’ve had the pleasure of buying Hansa coffee for six years now from MI and my first visit to the retail store in Libertyville was the exact reason why we love this company. Great coffee with a touch of a hometown feel and first class taste / service! Kevin, Tom, Jan and Justine were superb hosts.

very cute and appealing little coffee shop, the atmosphere is perfect. the cashier told me I owed 531 pennies after I ordered. Their drinks are good, but I have not yet found that one thing that would get me excited to come back and re-order multiple times. Edit: after thinking, I believe the weird flavor I was tasting in the mocha was simple syrup rather than the chocolate sauce they use, which I had added because their lattes are not very sweet compared to what I prefer. However, I've tried more drinks since then, and I have to say that the blueberry muffin latte is very good! +1 star for that alone. still not something I could have daily, but I am curious to try more of their seasonal offerings.

Cute little coffee shop. Love spending time here on a sunny day - seating area has garage/bay doors that they open up to allow fresh air and natural light to come in. Great place to bring a laptop for personal work, or books for academic study. Great place to bring a friend to catch up!

Driving into Hansa, it was refreshing to see something new. I love that they took a building that was not originally made for a coffee shop and made it work flawlessly. I ordered a cold brew with oat milk from a friendly barista whom was very patient with me, I wasn't disappointed with my choice. Though it's an easy drink, I can be picky and it was smooth and strong, just how I enjoy it. Though I did not sit in the "garage" this time, it was very cool to see and loved that while they were packed it didn't seem hectic and everyone looked to be having a wonderful experience. Can't wait to go back and try out their tea and pastries.

👍👍 I've been going to Bubble Tea Lab for around three years. It's a cozy spot in Libertyville, IL, and I've had the pleasure to see this small, family-run business evolve throughout the years. I've enjoyed bubble tea for close to a decade. Bubble Tea Lab does this specialty drink justice! In the heart...
