Cute and cozy-feel restaurant with friendly service and some of the best Gyros and Tzatziki Sauce I have had in Illinois, outside of Chicago/Cook County. Didn't have brunch until later in the day so stopped by an hour before close as it was nearby. Definitely a good spot if there are regulars and good rapport with the staff. I had the Towner Square Omelette which had their Gyros, Onions, Tomatoes, side of Tzatziki Sauce, with your choice of Toast or Pancakes, Fruit. Also had a Bloody Mary, and a waitress-choice Irish Coffee. The family-oriented crew as well as the homey-interior, makes you feel right at home. Wouldn't mind stopping in again if in the area.

Wonderful spot. Really great service and the staff was very friendly. I thought it would be more busy, but the rainy weather probably kept some people away. I ordered the eggs Florentine and loved it. Wait time was minimal, my coffee and water was always full, and the food was delicious. This place definitely has a "home town" atmosphere, and was very welcoming.

Words can't describe the warmth and hospitality one feels when dining here. Christina and George are second to none and their food is always well presented and delicious!

Stopped in and had some Breakfast 🍳 with my Brother. First time there it was very nice. I'll be going back again.

Place is not worth the money. Overhyped restaurant in Libertyville, and they need to work on a lot here to make it better. The menu is lacking, and my wrap was expensive for being pretty small. To be fair, the food was alright, but man everything else needs an update. Looks like this place came out a few decades ago with little update.

We tried to eat here on a Saturday around lunch time. We are from the southwest suburbs, but we were in the area for a swim meet, and thought we’d try it out based on the reviews here on Google Maps. We entered through the back and we were happy to see that there were several open tables throughout the restaurant. We got to the hostess stand and there was a line waiting to be seated. We were told it would be about 15 minutes for a table. We gave our name and began to wait despite the fact that there were at least 4 or 5 tables unoccupied to seat our party of 4. After a few minutes, a family of 4 came in behind us. The owner ran over to give them hugs and ask how they were doing. She was very sweet. Asking how the kids were doing in school and what not. After a few more minutes, the group in front of us was seated, so we were excited to be next. After a few more minutes, they literally let the people who came in behind us take the table for 4 in the front window that just opened up, and left us standing there!!!! Absolutely unbelievable. I told my family that we were leaving, and we found a place down the street instead. Avoid the Townee Square Restaurant unless you are friends with the ownership, then you will be treated like royalty. If you’re just some regular old customer, you’ll be passed to the side until all of the VIPs have been seated. Complete joke, I wish I could give it 0 stars, but 1 is the minimum.

My hunny & I came here for the first time a few weeks back & upon walking in you get that cozy comfy feeling. It has that old school diner kind of look/feel. We came early on a Saturday morning so we didn't have a wait time. I got a Belgian waffle with eggs & bacon along with a smoothie, my hunny got a skillet. I really really wanted to be impressed by the food but it was a let down. The smoothie had more of a milkshake consistency & it tasted like milk was in it. My waffle tasted pretty bland :/ & my hunny wasn't impressed with his skillet. It was worth a try.

Classic local family diner. Greek owned, so clean and only freshest ingredients. No processed food. Exceptionally warm family owners.

I must say that Jennifer and the staff members were nice to grant us a warm welcome. Jennifer was very attentive, happy, and informative about the delicious cocktails on the menu. I would definetly recommend eating here!

Our favorite place to go early in the morning on the weekend. Good coffee, tip-top service and a great menu selection to satisfy anyone's pallette.

The best breakfast spot in Libertyville (and maybe Lake County)! The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and filled with love and passion for all things food. It's always delicious (my wife LOVES the apple cheddar omelette)! Service is fast and friendly, and the owner is always making her rounds to ensure everyone is taken care of.

A visit to family in Libertyville and Sunday brunch brought us to Townee Square. What a delightful, family-run, restaurant!! The food was delicious and the service timely and very pleasantly accomplished. Everyone in our party of seven raved about our food, and I ordered a personal favorite, biscuits and gravy. All their food is genuinely home-made, and my choice turned out to be the best I've ever eaten biscuits and gravy. Don't miss this restaurant while in Libertyville.

Food was not bad but not awesome either. The Grilled Vegie wrap was good but not grilled (vegie), and the waitress was rather sour. Not bad altogether...

Wandered in just before close and they graciously seated us and could not have been nicer! Our omelettes were excellent! We will be back soon.

Exceptional customer service! Food quality was nice. Cost is super reasonable for the area. Even with a staffing shortage, we were well cared for ❤️

Loved this spot! Came from out of town and looked for a breakfast location and they are in a nice spot right in town. They poached their eggs perfectly in the Santa Fe Benedict and their Cinnamon Roll French toast was very tasty as well! Aside from the great food, the staff was very friendly and made me feel very welcome! They also provided very helpful local advice to us Michiganders on top of the meal!

Love this type of restaurant. Family-run and the dishes are made with love. Sat at the counter for lunch. Tuna melt prepared perfectly, seeded rye bread grilled on a flat top, crispy texture and the right amount of tuna and cheese. Fries had a nice coating and had a good crunch to them. Also tried the sunny side burger which has a sunny side egg on top. I asked for well done and that’s how I got it! It was big - so took the other half to go. Had to also try a milkshake. Was delicious.

What can I say🤔 I ordered a broccoli & cheddar omelette and it was cold from the 1st bite. The broccoli was barely cooked, it was bland blah blah boring, the hash browns were cold and dry. This was my second time there, I don't think it's all the rave like all these 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ reviews are but maybe they have lower expectations then I do but when you pay $32.. for breakfast for 2 you'd expect better quality. Sorry but I'm not the type to be sending it back, it is what it is and I'll most likely think twice before giving it another try. I debated on 2 or 3 stars but had to stick with 2 stars because it was disappointing enough not to bother finishing the meal. Just being honest.
