It's a beautiful church and recommend to anyone to stop and admire its architecture. I attended Music of the Baroque and the sound was echoing and filling the church beautifully.

Beautiful church. Daily Mass is in the chapel on the left of the main church. Entrance is hidden between the buildings, so it was a little hard to find. No kneelers in the main church, but it's a beautiful, peaceful place to pray. Thankfully they keep the church accessible during the day, which is nice.

I've been attending the Sunday evening mass at St. Michael in Old Town since January 1990. Every Sunday my family would drive 45+ minutes to get to the Sunday night mass eager to hear the Mustard Seed Choir sing during mass and whatever homily the priest gave that somehow always tied into what was going on in our lives. My husband and I married there in 2002. Both our children were baptized there and I sing with the Sunday night choir - a dream that turned to reality shortly after marrying my husband.

I've been going there on a regular basis..best part it's open till 2pm to the public for personal prayers and adoration.. love love to go there..always feel rejuvenated 🙏🌷🙏

It is a gorgeous historic church inside and out. The mass is beautiful as well highly recommend for all regardless of religious identity.

St. Michael Roman Catholic church in Old Town is a beautiful Chicago Landmark. St. Michael burned was built in the 1869, burned in the Great Chicago Fire of 1871, and was rebuilt. Come celebrate a daily 8 AM or Noon Mass. When you hear bells in Old Town, it is probably Mt. Michaels. For more info see their st-mikes organization website. Close to Twin Anchors restaurant with some of the best ribs in Chicago. St. Mike's is amazing.

This is a beautiful sanctuary in an historic church. I got to sing Handel's Messiah with other members of the Apollo Chorus as guests of the church's Schola Cantorum.

I’ve been living here for a long time, but I recently visited Saint Michaels church for the first time. It was very beautiful. The ceiling, the windows, everything was really beautiful and it was definitely worth a visit. Also, the people there were very nice.

It looks beautiful. I prayed for something, but nothing happened yet... So i rate an "okay"... Updated 1: I raised it one more star to "i liked it" because i could have potentially missed it. But shouldnt it be obvious enough???

Beautiful Catholic church which is one of the 7 buildings that survived the great fire of Chicago. The interior Git destroyed but the walls survived.

Finally had time to go to service...my friend brought me here, and I was immediately touched by the full presence of the spirits and Saints...it's a very very holy church I think everyone should go there at least once to experience it it just came over, it scooped over me and brought me to a place of peace... You can still have communion there I will go back that is a beautiful beautiful gifted Church, and I look forward to receiving that piece of sanity and calm unexplainable peaceness only He can give.. it was lovely to be able to like candles for all my spirits and Saints and Friends it was so nice so fulfilling I really recommend this place

On 7-1-23, my daughter got married at St. Michael. I can not say enough about the day at St. Michael. Everyone who helped to make the wedding special for my daughter and her now husband. Thank you for all you did.

Extremely beautiful church. No AC. My kneeler was missing. It was hard to understand the speakers as things were kind of echo-y
