    Worst delivery order ever. Clearly stated on the label what I wanted. I got everything… except the meat, the rice and the guac. Kids at this store clearly have no clue as to how to fulfill an order and provide good customer service. Disappointing. Won’t be ordering out of this store any more. This is my second bad order in a row.

    This is the burrito bowl I just picked up. I placed my order at 10:30 for 11:15 pickup and think they may have prepped my order at 10:30 from the looks of the guacamole and how cold my food was. Picked it up on my lunch break so I called the store to tell them about my food and was told that the only thing they could do was remake my bowl if I bring it back. At that point I had already scraped off the guac and heated the rest of the bowl and ate half. Explained that to them and was told that in that case nothing can be done. Think I’ll stick the the West Dundee location from now on.

    If I could give this Chipotle zero stars I would. I drive 25 minutes from my house to this specific Chipotle because when it first opened the food quality was above any other Chipotle I've ever had. Except for this time. I was excited to try the new brisket but when I opened my bowl I found PLASTIC in my food. It is disgusting and unsanitary. Plus, when I went through the drive through they did not even have my order ready and I had to wait an additional 10 minutes for my food to be ready and it had plastic inside of it. Isn't the point of the drive through lane for your food to be ready when you get there? This place is disappointing and disgusting, I should get a refund for just finding plastic in my food. Do not eat here!

    This location is terrible. My wife asked for extra sour cream and they drenched it. It was a Carne Asada bowl...she counted, only 4 pieces of meat (she added her own chicken at home). I asked for double meat and had less than a normal portion at other locations. Second time ordering here, both times cold and subpar for Chipotle which we normally like.

    I ordered for pick up, two bowls and one salad. When I opened my order, there was one salad, one bowl, and one container with ONLY steak in it. I was very disappointed, unsure if it was the online system that did not work. I entered all ingredients for that bowl. I called this location, which was the one we had ordered from, and the manager wasn't helpful. He said he couldn't do anything and I had to request a refund through their customer service. This makes it an awful experience, especially when I was thinking I was going to eat my meal and opened it to just see steak. I was charged more than $8 for that bowl, which ONLY had steak. I understand issues can happen with the online systems, what I don't appreciate is that the manager being the manager, was not able to offer a refund or even the bowl that was missing, even if he would have not had put the steak that I already had at home. It is unfortunate that an experience like this happens, and even though I love chipotle, I will not be buying from this location again! I fear that this situation will happen again and no one will be able to help at this location, just like today. Never have I had an experience like this at any restaurant before, usually they are able to help one way or another. Unbelievable.

    The worst chipotle I have ever experienced. I'm writing this review while I wait in the mobile pickup lane 30 cars deep. My food is now over 40 minutes late and I still have god who knows how much longer. Stay away from this place. I will be calling the branch manger while I eat my cold meal and request a full refund plus extra meal tickets. Absolutely ridiculous and ruined my entire night, entire week. I will purposely go out of my way to eat a qdoba moving forward.

    Where is the MEAT?????? Got almost through the whole thing and no meat to be experienced anywhere. I didn’t order a vegetarian burrito that’s forsure, so def never ordering from here again. I recommend going to a diff Chipotle that’s not beyond stingy with what u Pay for.

    Let me just preface this by saying that my fiancé and I both have worked in the restaurant industry for an extensive period of time, so we are inclined to cut others in the industry some slack. As soon as we walked in, they all stopped what they were doing simultaneously and starred at us, making my fiancé rather uncomfortable. When we were ordering, we watched this young kids forehead begin to form beads of sweat as who I can only was his manager hovered an inch and a half from his shoulder. This kid, who I assume was under pressure, proceeded to dish out the smallest portions I have ever seen in my many years of work in the restaurant industry. I mean there must have been at most 5-6 pieces of steak in my burrito and maybe 10 black beans on my fiancé’s bowl. This burrito was so incredibly small that it barely put a dent in my hunger. Not to mention this rice was so oily you’d think that all of the oil from the Gulf of Mexico ended up in that batch of rice. As if that wasn’t enough, the staff was rude, the restaurant antechamber looked like it housed raccoons, and the guy at the register didn’t have any change for some reason. Will not be going back.

    This may be the worst location in the United States, I have constantly gotten incorrect food items multiple times now. I asked for a burrito with sour cream cheese lettuce and steak. I got literally everything but those ingredients. Not to mentioned it was wrapped with two soggy tortillas. Never going back

    This place is a joke. Rude and incompetent. I asked the guy putting the ingredients on the bowl for sour cream on the side and he globs it on the bowl and then when I tell him that he got it wrong, he defends himself and says that he asked me what toppings I want ON the bowl. And his coworker that earlier had looked at me with a look of astonishment for asking for for soft shells on the side, comes over to defend him and reiterates that I was being asked what toppings I wanted on top of the bowl not on the side. I mean, I literally asked if they were kidding because they had to be to be standing there insinuating that this mistake was my fault. Needless to say I will never return to this location, and neither should any of you. Worst Chipotle ever!

    Place is a mess. First and last time. 6 employees and counter tops were full of food and stations were mixed with other toppings. Does management just hire a body? For my time there. I would be lucky enough if I don’t get food poisoning.

    DONT WASTE YOUR TIME & MONEY. The worst chipotle i’ve ever been to. Only reason I go is out of pure convenience from home. The food is always dry and has no flavor. The chips are always stale and orders are often wrong. I had ordered the steak today and it tasted like it had been a few days old and just heated up. The lettuce was not even close to fresh. Could not even stomach to my finish eating it. I have not left a review in the past but today was the tipping point. Will not be going back anymore.. PLEASE avoid this chipotle location.

    Worst Chipotle ever, it’s better to close then to serve food like this! First of all this is the smallest portions that I ever saw, my bowl was half empty even I ordered everything vegetarian. Second of all I think you can get some kind of food poisoning because my guacamole was sour, and the other products in the bowl tasted like they were made 2 days ago or even more. I took few bites and was ready to throw up. Everything goes to the garbage! Be aware!

    I’m very disappointing in this place , I don’t know who is running it but it should be fired. This place is dirty, unorganized, they were out of everything meat, guacamole, beans rice and even chips. Don’t go to this place not worth it! This is the worst chipotle that I’ve been. 👎😡

    I ordered a burrito and a burrito bowl the bowl had a quarter scoop of rice and a minimal amount of toppings I asked for and my burrito is not as full as normal. Very disappointed in the Elgin location.

    The incompetence is incredible. I took my son in to get a cheese quesadilla for lunch where the worker told us we had to order that online instead. So instead of a quick lunch that he could have been eating, we had to order through the app and wait 20 minutes for his microwaved cheese quesadilla to be done. If I wanted to wait 20 minutes, I would have taken him to a sit down restaurant.

    I came in for lunch as usual and came across this young man name Jacob I gotta tell ya chipotle it’s nice to see nice hard working talented young people it’s hard to find good help now days. Second or 3rd time he has help me with my order unless his busy working hard making them mobile orders, anyway I think this young man it’s got a bright future ahead of him good for you Jacob keep up the Great work and attitude! 🤩👍🏽🌯 By the way this chipotle has gotten better from when it first open.     Walked in and immediately noticed how dirty the restaurant was. The tables were very dirty and the station were the food was being made was covered with food that was overflowing from the other containers. Everything looked like it was just thrown about. The workers were struggling to wrap burritos and some of them were goofing off. Once i received my food it was the most bland tasting burrito bowl i have ever gotten at chipotle. It tasted nothing like actual chipotle food that i have ordered countless times. After i couple bites i physically could not eat more. My stomach was aching. The aqua Fresca i had also bought tasted dirty, as if the dispenser had not been cleaned in a long time. I asked for a refund and when i was told a manager would be brought to me they send the worker back with a number for customer service. If you want to throw your money away and possibly get a stomach infection then this is the place to come to. I wish i could give zero stars. This place needs to be closed down. Did i mentioned the were out of lids (had to wrap my bowl with aluminum foil) and only had large soda cups? Save yourself the anger and disappointment and just dine at Gabutto Burger’s that is next door. That is one of the best restaurants in the area, I have had nothing but excellent experiences there. 10/10 recommend

    Came in tonight (I admit 15 minutes before closing time) there were two people attending to us, one very helpful and efficient young man with curly hair and then one young lady that was super rude during the entire process. I understand that we arrived late (not outside of business hours) but that doesn't mean you can be snippy with customers. Sorry to say her rudeness outweighed the young man's niceness.

    On the Google listing this location is listed as open until 10pm. On the front door of the building the hours are listed as open till 10pm. I arrived at 9:20pm and all the chairs were already flipped, I could see through the window all the food was put away, and all the staff was cleaning. Somehow every time I go to a Chipotle, in many different locations, if it’s 60-30 minutes before closing the staff have already locked up and started cleaning. So frustrating.

    When this place opened it was my go to but now it is by far the worst chipotle I've been too in the area. They consistently mess up online orders and skimp on the meat while overflowing on rice beans and salsas leaving the bowls soupy and soggy. It's very disappointing.

    They serve cold meat , and they start closing two hours before their actual close time. The cold sides were not even in the right place to keep the items cold and the meat was scattered on the counter in bins and it was cold!! Definitely will be contacting corporate regarding this location. This chipotle wants to charge extra for things I’ve never been asked to pay extra for. These are young “adults” working here want to leave and are literally closing and putting food away as your ordering. Unprofessional and blame everything on “corporate”.

    If I could give this place ZERO STARS I would. Terrible service and food is so mid. They messed up an order made for 6 people. FOUR out of SIX items were incorrect or scraps of whatever was left I guess. When I tried to contact the location it's self the number was disconnected (shady). When we tried to get a refund or the order remade the female "manager" or whoever it was started laughing and whispering to another person. I don't know if the salmonella is contaminating their brains but I will NEVER return to this location again. When we called customer support they offered a measly free entree as if I would return which I WONT. TACO BELL IS BETTER THAN THIS DUMPSTER FIRE

    Ok my family and I love Chipotle! However we went to the Chipotle on Randall Rd at Rt 72. Elgin basically. I ordered 2 quesadillas and 2 burritos. When we arrived home, the quesadillas looked like they had been thrown on the ground and the foil paper was balled up like a pool cue ball. The burritos were cold and not even a hint of warm ness. I complained and was assured By TIM the manager that I could come back and get my order replaced. But who wants to do that when your 15 minutes away. We decided to give it another try today and I called the manager TIM before we even ordered. TIm answered and I told him about our bad experience the last time. He assured me he would write my name down and have it right this time. Again 2 kids quesadillas and 2 burritos. Got home and the 2 quesadillas have guacamole dripping out of the sides in them so barely any cheese and a ton of guacamole?!!?!?! So my wife had to make my kids quesadillas for our kids. I WILL NEVER return to this location again. There is something wrong with this location and it is horrible. I should have read the bad reviews on here to begin with. They all are similar to mine. And beware of the 5 star reviews that pop up right after my review, saying things were clean and great those are employees and friends trying to cover up their mess.

    Our food was cold, rice was uncooked as well as the steak. We ordered over an hour ahead so they would have enough time to prepare the 6 bowls. Aside from portions being half of what other locations provide the rice was raw where you can feel the crunch in your teeth, the steak was uncooked and food was probably prepared an hour before the pickup time. This was my first attempt to try between the three locations in my area and will be the last! West Dundee location is the best in the area.

    I love the food and the people. They all work so hard and they do their very best. They strive for perfection. My experience with Chipotle has been one to remember. Yes, they may make mistakes and mess up sometimes, but rarely!!! It just makes them human, so what!! Nobody can say that they are perfect! The world is full of things that are messed up, are you going to let one little experience ruin your whole view of the restaurant? We all have bad days, believe me. I give them a job well done!!!! Keep it up Chipotle!!!!

    Normally I always try to avoid this location as much as possible but sometimes it’s just the closest location. My experience at this location is always a disappointment. There are always the same four things wrong with this place. First, the drive-thru lane. I get there and I end up waiting about 10-15 minutes every time and by the time I get my food, it’s cold. Second, the portions I receive are just not up to standards with the other locations in the area. I ask for double rice and get about one scoop. You have to ask for double meat here because if you don’t you’ll get a laughable amount of meat. Even when asking for double meat it’s still not up to standards. Third, the food is always never good. The rice is always undercooked. It’s always hard. Rice and meats are always cold. And the lettuce is always brown. Fourth the staff at this location could care less about the order. They get the order done as quickly as possible which makes sense as to why it’s always a bad experience. I promise you to save your time and your money and go to the West Dundee location.

    On the way back home we Picked up an order around 9:30pm on 11/28/2020 from this location. 3 veg burrito bowls. We started eating and each person complained about the taste of the food. It tasted horribly wrong in the food, have had no idea what could be wrong in the simple veg burrito bowl. Called and Notified the location around 9:58pm. I would avoid picking up my order from this location in future

    I placed an order through the chipotle app I ordered my Burrito bowl White rice, black beans, chicken, sour cream, cheese, guac, lettuce, and chips with guac, only to revive just the bowl and no chips and guac. I called them only for them to tell me they will write my name down for later... on top of that the bowl was cold... barley any food and it looked like they literally just threw it without a care. I’m very unhappy.

    Placed a delivery order waited about 35-45 minutes to get it delivered only to be given the wrong order, I called the store and was told that I had to go online to get my refund. So I placed a new order, they were nice enough to throw in a bag of chips, queso, and guac. But They had messed up my order again. Not the first time having an issue with this location. Not to mention they are very stingy with portions.

    The line for the drive thru pick up is way too backed up. The employees do not instruct people that order too early, or do not have their food ready, to pull forward/go through again. This is a basic grab and go function and should be done in seconds.

    I am typically a fan of Chipotle, however I have had some issues with this one recently. My office usually does a large order 1 to 2 times a week, ordering our group order online and then picking it up through the Chipotlane pick-up. 3 out of the last 4 order they have forgot either chips/salsa/guac and/or bottle drink. Being that these orders are large, the items missing are overlooked until the order is already back at the office nearly 10 min away. Typically we call and they make a note of it and make it right on the next order. However, the most recent incident they forgot a order of chips and guacamole, I tried calling three times that same day however no one answered the phone. I also tried to respond to my order confirmation email, but I assume these emails go nowhere.. I figured if we mentioned it the next time we picked-up it wouldn't be a big deal. The lady in the Chipoltlane pick-up, while very nice, refused to make their mistake right. Saying "I can't just give out free chips", I am not looking for anything free I just want my order to be correct the first time. I'll probably still order every so often, but might have to find another establishment in the area that will appreciate my regular business.

    We go to chipotle often, we stopped in after flying into Chicago on our way to Wisconsin and we were pleasantly surprised at the genuine attentiveness and politeness from the employees. This location was very clean, fast, and efficient. We both agreed it was the best chipotle we had ever been to.

    We have repeatedly been let down by this specific location time and time again. Aside from the rude service, every single time we order they have messed up at least one of our meals. The ticket on my meal says double steak and they somehow managed to not put any steak in it at all. Im not sure if the employees even look at the tickets before making the food because everything in the bowl was incorrect. Other locations are literate and functional. Just not this one at all.

    My daughter wanted Chipotle for her wedding reception and this location was amazing to work with. We even had to add a few special request items to the order and everything was exactly as requested. With lots of burritos and all the sides individually packed, they clearly took extra time in making sure our order was accurate and as requested with our special instructions. They made her day special even in the midst of all the COVID challenges. It was ready on time and pick up was super easy. Highly recommend.
