After having my varicose veins treated last year I have had spider veins treated this year. I am so happy that there is a procedure to help those of us with this issue/disease. Why did I wait so long? I was worried about insurance not covering it, but it did. I was worried it was going to hurt and yeah it did a little, but I could feel during the procedure the relief instantly. I knew I could get thru this since I suffered so long with leg pain, restless leg and fatigue. The staff was amazing from the time I called and she helped with the insurance questions I had and then the steps to follow. Their bedside manner was very comforting even when I was feeling uncomfortable they new it was time to play name that tune on Alexa. I would recommend to everyone to go to NI VEIN CLINIC.

I really like this place. Every staff member makes you feel so at ease. The nurses are so easy to talk with.The receptionist is so helpful and you get a appt really soon. I was nervous at first but the doctors and staff made me feel better. I had the surgeries done about 6 months ago and everyday I am still improving. If I ever have to have it done I won't go anywhere else.

I am so glad I went their. They did an amazing job on my right leg. They did all the veins in one shot and just two follow up visits afterwards. There are a lot of other clinics out there I would not trust that do injections and other things and make you keep coming back to bilk the insurance companies. They are a good palce to go for help. Nice PAs and doctors. Make sure to walk alot if having Laser ablation. Helps significanlty with healing. Besides confusion with insurance company everything is covered and process went smoothly! Thanks for the help.

In 1983, I had both my legs stripped, because of varicose veins. I ended up with a bad blood clot. In hospital for a month. For years after this, I continued to get more varicose veins, with many up high in groin area. Many bulging. Horrible cramping, itchy, heavy- feeling legs. Had to go to the emergency room twice for a vein opening up, shooting blood on walls, ceiling, just everywhere. I kept a bandaid on the vein for many years, as some protection for it. I finally had to do something about my legs. I was so impressed with Northern Illinois Vein clinic. They have made a big difference in my life. I've had 5 days of treatment so far, with one more day to go. Absolutely no more horrible leg cramps, or a heaviness, bulging veins, tired legs, swelling, itchy legs or restless legs. Dr. Gilvydis did an excellent job getting rid of many bad veins I had. He's the best! A terrific bedside manner, explaining everything. Many ultrasounds to make sure there weren't any problems afterwards. They really care about the patient. They go beyond treatment to make sure all is good.
