I loved it the first few times I ordered but the quality went down & it's like they can't read the notes you leave & I leave the note in every box, just to make sure it's not overlooked. Today was a reminder of why I order from Flapjack but they were closed. The omelette was way overcooked. The hash browns were burnt. I constantly ask for them to use small diced peppers & I get chunks that I have to pick out. It's not worth the trouble, so I'm done!✌️(Pix also posted)

Great American🇺🇲and Mexican🇲🇽 fare. This is Bialy's II, at their 95th St location in Evergreen🌲Park. Excellent service and large portions of flavorful foods. A must for breakfast and lunch. Hot Turkey 🦃Sandwich (l) w/ Mashed Potatoes, Mixed Vegetables, Soup🥘 or Salad🥗. Scrambled Eggs(r) with Biscuits and Gravy. The pancakes🥞 are thick, light and fluffy😋. An enjoyable🤗dining🍽☕️experience.😋

It's a homey, welcoming neighborhood diner. The food was tasty, and the service was kind and quick. Not something I would indulge in daily (or even weekly), but I enjoyed the typical American breakfast and coffee refills. Puncakes were fluffy, meat soft, coffe strong. It's convenient (just around the corner!) and quiet affordable.

Me and my family have dined in and ordered from Bialy's Cafe for a long time, about 15 years to be exact. Some of their staff changed and now this place is horrible. Their quality of their food has dropped dramatically. When we ordered through their Online portal, the orders are wrong or food items are missing. The online pick up time says to pick up 25-30 minutes and then you get to the restaurant for pick up and you have to wait an extra 15 minutes. I will not be eating or ordering from this place again.

Their food is delicious! The stuffed pepper soup was so good! I ate a small chicken breast salad. Their potions are large. I would recommend this place for take out or dine in.

The whole staff is very friendly. Everytime I visit, there's never a long wait for a table and I haven't had any issues with the food/dishes I order. Bialy's is becoming a personal favorite. Better quality & service than the other diners in the area.

DONT WAIST YOU'RE TIME OR MONEY. HERE!!! 1st time I went there I had a skillet with eggs over easy. When I got to my job i realized the eggs were scrambled so I said OK. Next time I went I ordered the same with eggs over easy And my coworker had 3 tacos with avocado the avocado still had the peel on it. The next time I went I explained to the waitress that a couple of orders were wrong if they can please make sure to get it right this time and she just told me, why are you still coming here. that was very unprofessional of her. I told her you're right this would be the last time we are ever coming here. The the place is very overpriced and they don't want to give you a break down. Another time paid $32 for 6 tacos When it clearly says $2.50 per taco on the menu.

Have been going to this place for several years. I hadn't seen there for several months. It was always affordable but was very surprised with the cost. I ordered Biscuits and gravy with coffee. There were 2 Biscuits cut in half with gravy. The bill was almost $18.00. I know that food costs have gone up but this is ridiculous. I will never go back.

I really, really wanted to like this place. I LOVE diners, and I feel like the old school Chicago diners are a dying breed. Bialy’s is a local staple and always packed on the weekends so I had high hopes. I came with my family and we tried a few different options, but none of the food was really good. We tried classic American breakfast food as well as the Mexican options, and neither did it for us. The Mexican food was bland, and the American food even more bland. The soup was the only pleasant thing on the table. Maybe my expectations were too high. We didn’t try the waffles, so maybe redemption lies there. I’m not sure, but I am sad to say that it didn’t make it to my list of local favorites.

So today we went to this restaurant based on a friend recommendation. However clearly we were not welcomed 😒. So let me start by saying we were not greeted when we walked in. The place had Pedominantly Caucasian Patriots in the restaurant. The restaurant is run by Hispanic individual. Our waiter Trinidad was amazing, However the owner Marissa Has horrible customer service. Marissa went around to every Caucasian table and greeted them, However there were tables tables that set minority patrons of the restaurant which included my table and a biracial couple which she did not greet at all. I ordered the chicken and waffle meand they brought me out chicken tenders That were recooked. Therefore I asked for them to be replaced with bacon due to the server stating that everyone Complain about the tenders. He stated that he had to ask Marissa about it and when he did she came to the table with an Attitude and took the chicken tenders away and made a comment about it. Long story short black people should never eat at a place where there is racism and poor customer service on the part of the manager. PERIOD

I wanted to like this place specifically because I was looking for a diner but we ordered breakfast and my eggs weren't cooked right and there was hair in my food. I hope any of you that read this have a better experience than I did.

Absolutely fantastic I have not been out for breakfast in a very long time and it's right up the street from my house the best neighborhood homey cafe Best waffles I've ever had My son has loved going there since he was 3 years old and it is now a tradition every Saturday my son and I go and have breakfast or brunch. Love their eggs too! Lady's are wonderfully polite. Love it!

The is the best place for breakfast/brunch in Evergreen Park, in my humble opinion of course. I really enjoy their omelet and skillet options, particularly the Bialy's omelet, paired with O'Brien potatoes and dry wheat toast, my mouth is getting watery just thinking about. I also recommend the oatmeal which is served with fresh fruit. Very kind and friendly staff. Thank you for feeding us well Billy's Cafe😘

Dirty....ripped menus.....no toilet paper in bathroom...had to ask twice. Food was good but restaurant needs maintaining. Service was good by one waitress....another young girl just stood around. Have been here many times with family...has gone down hill.

I went to Bialy's Cafe last weekend and it was my first time visiting. Hands down the best cafe I've been to. I loved Lupé! She had great energy, was attentive and super sweet. I'd highly recommend the Chicken salad sandwich and to add jalapenos to it if you like that spice.

Neighborhood diner that will surpass your initial expectations. Try an option from their Mexican selections for breakfast. You can tell the spices are blended in house, not a "one shaker for all" technique used at a lot of breakfast joints. Produce is beyond fresh in their dishes (avocado in my omelette was superb). One of the friendliest, and genuine waitresses I've had the pleasure of meeting in a long time. Bon appetit!

The food was really good. The only thing I was thrown off about is they used Greek toast for the bread for my French toast.

This place has really went done, prices continue to rise as service continues to decline. They spend more time talking to each other than ensuring the orders are correct. It as really ran its shelf life and time to close. It is very evident with the lack of customers they have.

haven’t had a good breakfast like this in a long time!! i would really recommend to anyone in the area, personally i drive 30 mins for the exceptional service and environment. my personal favorites are their skillets.

This place has went down and changed a whole lot over the years I have dined in I have done take out I have done delivery. The manager is never really there anymore to report any issues too. The food quality has went down real bad and you pay for items and then you never get them when you do delivery or take out about your order the manager nobody to take care of issues. If I can give this place no stars they are so sad

Order my food online, picked it up got home and a whole meal was missing. The food I did receive was awful, potatoes burnt and I didn't have the cheese asked for on the eggs. Called back girl stated I could come back and get the missing food. I live 30 min away. I did not return until next day, people got an attitude cause I didn't come the day the forgot to give me my complete order. My suggestion go to Lumes on Western good food, friendly service. Don't waste you time with Bailey in Evergreen.

This place was once amazing. Waitress messed up 4 orders .I asked for a chorizo but was given a skillet with 2 eggs. Asked for pancakes (twice) but was told that they were out. Chef said no we are not. All new faces. WOW.. No syrup or butter. Food always great..

Can we normalize transparency in pricing please!?! All I know is that I wanted an omelet and pancakes to go. When ordering, I was given the option between 2 types of potatoes. I chose O'Brien. My food came out prompt and I received my charges. I was annoyed to find out after the fact I was being charged an extra dollar for the potatoes and another dollar because I had a "to go" order. This should have been disclosed when I was ordering. I mean, you're entitled to charge what ever fees and up-charges you want, however in fairness, it is the customers right to decide if they want to pay it or do business elsewhere. I don't like the unnecessary pettiness and slickness and for that, I will not return.

Great local food, especially for breakfast.I recommend the ham which is cut off the bone and instead of hash browns, get the potatoes O'Brien. You're welcome.

Their website says it’s one of the best spots in Evergreen Park. That’s a pretty bold statement to make so me and my cousin took it into our hands to try this spot out. Boy were they right. The skillets are 10/10. The waffles 11/10. Definitely coming back. You can tell that all their ingredients are fresh.

Tried this place for the first time!! I’m a foodie big time and come from a family that has owned restaurants. I’ll start off by saying the food was good not great but good. We ordered a taco dinner,2 beef tacos,chips,2 pops and side of rice. The bill came to $45.98. Yes I can’t make this up. I understand being in the business that prices have gone up. This to me is price gouging big time. They charged $6.50 for the chips/salsa the salsa by far the worst we’ve ever had. Chips were ok not even good . No pico de Gallo for $6.50. You ready for this. $5.00 each for a fountain pop. Yes $5 each. $4 extra for cheese because didn’t want cilantro and onion. Again I understand cheese is more everywhere but $4 extra. Just absolutely ridiculous prices. We could have eaten downtown for these prices and probably will next time. Most likely won’t step foot back in this place.

I've always wanted to try them so today was the day...Huge disappointment! Both me and my friend got slightly sick by the food. We both had omlettes and our food seemed to be slightly undercooked or rushed but the pancakes were very good but that was all. Definitely won't be back. Our server tried her best.

My total order for my family's Saturday breakfast was $90.15. When we received the food(door dash delivery), it was extremely overcooked (maybe they were really busy that day) I called the restaurant and asked to speak to management on 3 different occasions; there was no solution as no one returned my calls. I disputed through my bank.
