The sauce or the sausage doesn’t cover the size of the pizza. This is not the Lou Malnatis pizza I order once a month. Highly suggest NOT to order at the Libertyville store. I suggest Buffalo Grove location or any other location. This is not the expectation of the customer or what is advertised by Lou Malnatis. Hope this location fix the issue from within.

I dont know how you can rate this pizza less than 5 stars. I am also-literally confused as to how they have this kind of quality (ingredients) with so many locations. You will not regret a deep dish with sausage and pepperoni, uncut.

Ordered the gluten free pizza the other night and got this. They were very cordial about giving me a credit but still, my pizza was totally mooed out. Burnt to a crisp. 🐄

We did a carry out order fairly late in the evening. We wound up spending more time in the area than we expected to and wanted to grab something to eat on the way home. We don’t have a Lous close by us, but we love the pizza here. So we picked up a small deep dish to share. It was perfect for two people. You get 4 fairly large slices. It was enough to fill us up without leaving us feeling gross. Pizza was done when they said it would be. It was hot enough to still be hot when we got back home 40 minutes later.

I didn't like their deep dish pizza... I came to Chicago for a vacation and I wanted to try their infamous deep dish pizza... I tried one bite and felt like the crust was raw and filled with oil... Don't recommend...

Messed up an order 3 times and made us drive back to the store 3 times to pick it up. They would not deliver it for some reason. Would not recommend this location. Did not consider communicated dietary restrictions/allergies.

I should have known something would go wrong when I asked for a price comparison for 16" and 18" thin crust and got a price comparison for a 16" deep dish and 18" thin crust. Nevertheless, I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza and to say that it was HORRIBLE is an understatement!! I would have been better off with a frozen pizza from the grocery store. The cheese looked old, the onions and chicken were beyond dry and the crust tasted like it had been sitting in the fridge or freezer for several days. Now I remember why I don't eat Lou Malnati's pizza!!! If I wasn't so exhausted, that pizza definitely would have gone right back to them.

Kind of hit or miss if the pizza you order will be good if not great. But I keep coming back for the deep dish spinach pizza.

Very disappointed. I’ve had loumalnatis many many times the Lake Zurich locations is always the best. The pizza from this location did not meet the same standards. It was a lot thinner than normal deep dish and barely had any cheese on it. Reminded me of a frozen pizza.

You guys almost killed me with your salad. Last time it had mushrooms bacon and didn’t have carrots. This time it was no bacon or mushrooms and CARROTS gave me a HORRIBLE ALLERGIC REACTION it seems like you just put whatever you want in the salad without considering you could kill someone. And the salad is the only thing I can eat since ur pizza sucks. Will never eat here again and will recommend Red Baron over this stuff.

This is our to go place for pizza whenever we have a craving for pizza! We ordered them half baked so it can be baked at home and it’ll be piping hot! I ordered it online and it was ready when I just pulled up in front of the restaurant! The staff are very helpful! I also picked up my birthday cookies from them too(smaller than the picture showed)! The thin crust was perfectly done and the deep dish was delicious as well!

Food is great, but they have kids running the operation, which kills their quality of service. I’ve received the wrong order multiple times, I’ve been made to wait 20 minutes longer than I was quoted, etc. They need one or two adults asap.

Im going to start by saying the food is always excellent. But the service today was simply unacceptable, and I feel a need to say something. Tried to place an order over the phone. The person who answered clearly shouldn’t be answering the phones. Took 15 minutes to even take my order, kept putting me on hold. It doesn’t take 15 minutes to order a pizza. The person says its a new system and they are having trouble figuring it out. If you cant figure it out, take paper notes and then enter it in your system after you get off the phone with the customer. Anything more than 5 minutes to order a pizza over the phone is starting to get ridiculous. On top of it all, when they finally the order completely wrong when he repeated it to me. I told him it was wrong, and then HE HUNG UP on me. We called back and were able to get the order placed. But I will not be ordering over the phone from them again, I will be ordering Dominos. Worse pizza but they have the ordering process figured out.

Lou Malnati's Pizzeria is a legendary destination for deep-dish pizza lovers. Their pies are a heavenly combination of buttery crust, rich tomato sauce, and gooey cheese. The toppings are fresh and flavorful, creating a truly indulgent experience. The friendly and attentive service adds to the charm. If you're seeking the ultimate deep-dish pizza in a welcoming atmosphere, Lou Malnati's Pizzeria is the place to be.

I cant even begin to tell you how awesome this pizza is. I was in town on business and this location was highly recommended and it did not disappoint. By far one of the best pizzas i have ever had not to mention staff there is incredible. Be sure to notice that some locations are carry out only. This pizza is worth every penny! Very military friendly as well.

We ordered a heart shaped pizza and had it delivered and it arrived with all of the toppings inside of the box as if the pizza was upside down the entire car ride. It arrived cold and when I called to get this sorted out, I was told that to get another one would be over an hour and then when I asked for a refund instead I was told “ok thanks” and the phone was hung up on me. Wish there was an option to post pictures on this review. I am beyond disappointed.

Oof it's Lou's and we all love Lou's. But dang this was disappointing. Cold, bad tasting, just bad pizza. And here's the thing, been ordering from this place for years and it's always been up to par with all other Lou's locations. Not anymore. Not going to this location again.

Astounding! Not the pizza but the price. A large cheese thin crust with 4 toppings was almost $40. The ingredients were skimpy and frankly, tasteless. I have ordered from Libertyville and the Grayslake locations before and had great pizza. Is it inflation? Or is it that the young kids working there do NOT know how to make a pizza. From now on I will skip the Lou and go to Kisers, the Silo , Romas or even Aldi's were you can get an 18 inch with everything on it for under $7. Just as tasty. Sorry Lou, we need to get divorced.

Same issue as the last review I just saw for this location. Not sure how they define "deep dish" at this location, but this is definitely not it

The pizza absolutely sucked. $37 for a large thin crust, some tomatoes, a mushroom if you could find one, onions, very little sausage and a few strips of basil. Will NEVER go here again. Better pizza at Costco.
