Celebrating
3
years
together,
I
booked
the
Lovers
Weekend
Package.
Entering
the
Hotel
I
was
greeted
and
escorted
into
the
Kinarumet,
a
room
inspired
by
how
the
wealthy
Scandinavians
imported
far
Eastern
influences
into
a
single
room
in
their
home.
After
10
minutes
without
help,
I
went
up
to
someone
who
was
then
very
helpful
and
showed
us
to
the
snack
tables
located
in
the
opposite
direction
to
where
we
had
been
led
initially.
Luckily,
the
waiter
was
apologetic
and
the
evening
continued.
The
receptionist
didn't
have
a
mastery
of
the
English
language,
but
that
didn't
bother
me
as
much
as
it
did
to
my
Swedish
partner.
Next,
we
prepped
for
the
"Spa".
We
drank
the
1/2
bottle
of
champaign,
ate
the
small
chocolates,
and
made
our
way
there.
This
was
a
lovely
experience.
There
is
an
indoor
and
outdoor
jacuzzi,
a
polar
plunge,
a
sauna,
and
two
small
changing
rooms
with
showers.
They
provided
towels
and
little
sandals.
There
is
a
lovely
break
room
there
where
you
can
purchases
drinks
and
you're
allowed
to
bring
those
down
to
the
jacuzzis.
The
person
stationed
there
was
very
helpful
and
had
a
great
personality.
We
lounged
in
the
water
for
our
allotted
time
and
then
headed
back.
Going
back
to
the
room
for
a
few
minutes,
we
relaxed
on
the
soft
beds
and
bided
our
time
until
the
pre-dinner
drinks.
The
rooms
were
quite
small,
but
sufficient
and
were
subtly
accented
with
older
furniture,
a
large
cloud-like
bed,
and
a
copper
horse
by
the
window.
The
view
from
the
room
was
superb
and
the
windows
opened
up
letting
in
the
wonderfully
crisp
northern
winds.
Up
to
this
point,
the
feeling
from
the
villa
was
one
of
disassociation.
Imagine
a
Villa
made
of
stone
with
spacious
hallways,
but
the
decor
is
that
of
a
confused
old
man.
For
example,
there
was
a
piano
in
a
corner
on
the
1st
floor
which
functioned
but
was
hidden
away.
There
was
art
in
the
main
hall,
but
they
were
obviously
prints
that
had
blown
up
with
poor
resolution.
The
eyes
of
the
elderly
probably
wouldn't
have
noticed
though.
The
dining
rooms
and
nooks
for
eating
were
rather
small
and
featured
flimsy
tables.
We
were
down
there
on
time
and
were
met
by
a
very
nice
and
charismatic
bartender
whom
was
very
knowledgeable
about
what
he
had
stocked
and
what
he'd
be
able
to
create
given
the
limited
selection.
I
hope
he
gets
the
opportunity
to
stock
it
with
a
more
interesting
selection.
The
majority
of
guests
were
45-60
years
old
and
you
can
tell
that
they
were
the
clientele
being
catered
to.
The
majority
of
drinks
being
ordered
around
us
were
whiskeys
or
Nordland's
Guld.
After
we
polished
off
our
drinks,
we
began
the
legendary
dinner.
If
there
was
a
section
below
asking
what
we
thought
of
the
meal,
5/5
stars
without
question.
It
was
a
5
course
meal
included
in
the
package
and
I
can
not
stress
enough
just
how
fantastic
it
really
was.
The
waiter
knew
all
of
the
dishes
and
the
wine
selection.
He
knew
which
wines
were
paired
with
it
and
let
us
choose
our
selection
without
feeling
pressured.
His
positivity
and
willingness
to
clarify
certain
aspects
of
the
meal
went
a
long
way
for
our
experience
as
we
were
the
earliest
dinner
guests
and
were
able
to
eat
in
near
solitude.
I
definitely
recommend
going
early
and
avoiding
the
loud
elderly.
The
dishes
themselves
were
beyond
delightful.
Scallops,
red
snapper,
duck
breast,
cheeses,
and
a
delicate
desert
packed
our
small
stomachs
beyond
normal
capacity
and
we
needed
to
sit
around
a
bit
before
being
able
to
waddle
into
the
Kinarumet
once
again.
Once
in
the
Kinarumet,
I
once
again
felt
like
this
was
the
best
room
in
the
complex.
Even
though
I
found
the
attempts
at
asian
infusion
quite
uninspired,
the
sofas
were
very
soft
and
inviting
after
such
a
large
meal.
The
bartender
was
once
again
the
best
voice
for
the
hotel
and
would
help
us
end
our
night
in
peace.
Overall,
I
recommend
this
location
if
you
and
your
partner
are
already
on
great
terms.
Breakfast
was
standard
Swedish
frukost
and
would
have
appreciated
if
they
had
labeled
the
brygg
cafe.
