TM Bagarstuga is not an ordinary bakery. The people running it have adopted an aggressive and loud marketing strategy. They have large signs everywhere with their names and claims to be the best in town. Unfortunately they have the only bakery in town, and as such it is both the best and the worst. There is a lot I don't understand about this place. For example, the head baker usually walks around with a tall toque on his head: these are an old school symbol, a garment worn by cooks at high-end French establishments. For anyone who understand the history and cultural significance of the toque, this can only be interpreted as arrogance. Why would they work so hard to raise people's expectations ? Why do I criticize so violently, what so many people seem to love so much ? Honestly I can't explain it. I am totally dumbfounded by the number of good reviews they have received. This is just my opinion, the opinion of someone who loves bread, sandwiches and baked goods in general. I eat a lot of them. There is no meal without fresh bread at my table. I have even baked professionally. I live five minutes away from TM Bagarstuga, but their bread and other products are so bad that I never buy them (obviously I have tried them several times). I prefer to travel 30 minutes to an hour to visit a bakery in another part of the Stockholm area, rather than buy anything at TM Bagarstuga. This is how truly terrible their products are.

I usually come here for lunch since it's close to my office. The staff is always friendly. The food is excellent. They also have a dessert bar and chocolate cake to die for. Need I say more?

In my opinion this is the best bakery in Sweden. I have been to a lot of different bakeries throughout the years and this is my favorite one so far. The price is also very good compared to bakeries and cafes in the middle of the city. If you go Monday to Friday and order the days lunch it will also include a cake buffé. The price is only 85 SEK as well and it also includes drinks. Even if you don't come during weekday lunch hour it's still worth going here. If you have a bit of a sweet tooth I would definitely recommend you to go here. Even if you are in central Stockholm this is only 25 minutes away by commuter train (train from centralen towards västerhaning or towards Nynäshamn) and if you go here in summer there is a nice beach (Årsta havsbad) 15 minutes away by bus (bus 846). If you are on vacation and have an extra day during summer I would recommend you to plan to go here and then go to the beach.

Lovely place with friendly staff and quirky decor. Had wanted to sit and work a bit but the place is a bit small and busy but i enjoyed my fika very much. There is a wide selection pastries and sandwiches with some other goodies to try out for free with your order😁😁😁😁 I bought semlor but will try a cheesecake next time. The granadilla one with a coconut base i got to taste blew my mind 😋😋😋😋😋

Very interesting place to eat if you are in the area. Really disappointed in the lack of variety for plant based food options concidering everything else there. Looking forward to seeing if there is anything new availble for us next time.

Having visited this place for many years (and at least two different owners), I must conclude that this is for sure one of the best bakeries in Haninge. Me and the wife have tried it all: ❇️ Sweet stuff - great. ❇️ Lunch - solid food, big portions and it allways have a healthy vibe. ❇️ Coffee / drinks - nothing to rave about, but never bad either. Friendly staff that allways makes you feel welcomed, regardless of the fact that the place is often quite busy. All in all, it is no mystery that people actually travel to Västerhaninge to visit TM Bagarstuga.

If you are looking for the best bakery in town, you've found it! The quality of the food, pastry and baked goods are amazing!!! Everything is made to order and is made with the best quality ingredients. The Bakers, Pastry Chef, Owner and all the other dedicated staff, is truly amazing. Don't wait another minute. Run down and try it for yourself. You will have no regrets you did😊

Fantastic options, however their single piece wheatbread buns (with different flavours, toppings and fillings) are too big and become dry. Buy the "längd" style bread and it's sublime!

Their ice cream are all flavorful, esp. the pistachio - the best! ❤️🍦 They have more/bigger scoop servings compared to other ice cream stands/ places/stores - so worth it. 😋

I like their ice cream but depending on who is scopping you can get either a lagom amount or a lot less unfortunately. For the price it should at least be worth it. I do however like that fact that they change flavors everyday!

Very good quality Fika, big bulle with a lot of taste. Personal nice and gentle.

Fantastic food and baked goods. The workers are friendly and provide excellent service. The downside would be that the place gets packed and the cozyness of sitting there disappears with an overload of people. I would personally say that the prices are a tad bit expensive. But if you have the money to spare and go during a calmer hour it's definitely worth it.
