An ecotourism proposal just a stone's throw from home, on the coast between Ostia and Torvaianica. Why go far away or see them in water parks, when you can enjoy such an exciting show seeing them in the wild! Obviously they can't guarantee sightings, this was my third outing, but when you succeed... what a thrill!! When you take a city trip to Rome, you don't necessarily think about dolphin watching. Me neither at first, but luckily as a wildlife fan I started to google while researching Rome and came across sotto al mare. Mail contact didn't work so well, but whats app worked even better. Thanks to this association and the very kind Lisa, yesterday we were able to experience a magical, beautiful day full of emotions that cannot be described. Thanks to Lisa we managed to see the coastal dolphins that live in the Mediterranean a few km from the Lazio coast and seeing these fantastic creatures in nature and up close is an indescribable emotion, it seems like words, but it is simply reality. I learned about this reality thanks to my mother. For my birthday he gave me an experience with them in the waters off the coast of Ostia. Lisa and Fulvio, our guides, were a pleasant and stimulating guide. People with whom to share and from whom to learn the values ​​of sustainability (during our dinghy outing we collected rubbish left in the sea by fishing boats and boats from the water) and biodiversity. We met three pairs of dolphins, and we walked a part of the way together with them. An experience of joy and sharing that I recommend to anyone, adults and children, to those who want to discover the area, to those who already have an awareness and sensitivity in terms of ecology and biodiversity, and to those who want to delve deeper into these themes and experiment with their own hands what it means to feel part of a rich and precious natural system that we all must protect. 🌍💙

Unique experience...Lisa, however, is very busy with research and documentation of dolphins...and doesn't have much time for the informative part...which she instead carries out elsewhere. So in my opinion the path must be completed... after practice... it is necessary to integrate with a bit of theory.

unique and unforgettable experience! The day was gorgeous, sunny but cool, the perfect September heat. We spotted about twenty dolphins, we were all truly amazed by the number and attitude of these highly intelligent animals! they got very close to the boat and enjoyed jumping next to us... I really recommend it to everyone because it was a wonderful day, full of adventures and amazement!
