A definite must-visit attraction in Vaduz, as the train brings you to the areas surrounding the capital that you otherwise would not visit. It takes you through the residential area, the Red House and the further stadium areas, while providing commentary in different languages through headphones. The route itself is also quite scenic, giving you different glimpses of the life in Vaduz and providing a brief background to them. If you like a live crash course to life in Vaduz and Liechtenstein, this train provides that. The prices costs about CHF11 for adults, but the price is definitely worth it for the 35 minute ride. Do however, to check for the tour timing, as it may vary, before purchasing your ticket at the counter.

Liechtenstein is a small country situated in the Alps, between Switzerland and Austria. Actually its a principality, that's what we learned. We visited its capital Vaduz on our Europe trip in 2014. Did some shopping in Vaduz's city center and strolled around. Then we hopped on to the Citytrain. Which is a very beautiful bright colored small train with 2 or 3 cars. It took around Vaduz and showed us the important places with live commentary giving information. We were surprised to hear the commentary in our mother tongue Hindi. As it was drizzling outside we could enjoy the city sights from the cozy city train. The ride is about some 45 minutes. The station also has clean toilets for tourists. We enjoyed the ride very much.👌🏼👍🏻

A great way to have a visit of the city. Even though it is not a big place, but the train goes to the outer regions too. And it has audio guides of about 30 languages. But if you are with a bigger group, definitely have to book in advance otherwise you might not have room. Because of this, there might be a few trains in a row, fully booked with big groups, than you have to wait a few hours. It does not go up to the castle

It’s fun to visit, we didn’t have time to see much. Of course we recommend getting your passport stamped (at the gift shop). Spend some time to get around, there are interesting things to see.

Brief tour of the city of Vaduz, with an audioguide that can be listened through headphones provided at the ticket office. The ride is included in the Adventure Pass and this is the only reason why I did it, because in my opinion it's better to walk through the town and maybe use the LIstory app to get information about the main landmarks.

Well maintained city toy train. I did not use it personally as I took a walk around on my own. However, few other people from our group used it and were happy with the ride. They have toilets for free usage at the starting point. One suggestion to include visit to wooden bridge (border between Switzerland and Lichestein) as part of the trip.

Wonderful half an hour City tour through Tram. It takes us through the historical part of the old city.

Good drive around Vaduz city in 35-40 mins. But probably a walk is a better option than moving around very quickly, to spend a little more time at each place in the downtown area.

This traib tour takes about 30-40 minutes around Vaduz. Instead of walking, this tour provides a quick way to see landmarks of the city. You can see almost all important landmarks and have a sight of Vaduz at different locations. You can listen to the audio information to get informed about Lichtenstein. The grape yards were really amazing.

We bought the tickets. The instructions were to come earlier to choose the best places. Upon the arrival twenty minutes in advance, we chose places in the first wagon and the driver kicked us out. The driver told us that the first wagon is reserved for the group(even though it was an individual tour). Audio guide in English spoke that I couldn’t understand everything. I enjoyed the drive.
