Fun one! My lama was a beautiful, stubborn teenager named Karl, who liked to race to the front and then abruptely refused to move. I’d call it a lama hike & wrestle experience. The entrepreneurs are genuine sweethearts and their english is excellent. The meeting point would benefit from having available toilet facilities, as traveling hours with public transport to a rather remote location like this takes its toll. Overall, much recommended: This is The thing to do on a Sunday in Liechtenstein.

Did the taster walk with my kids this morning, it was great! Marc and Anna Lena were super nice and we all loved the llamas. Looking forward to trying the fondue cheese we bought... we would love to come back and stay in the yurt!

Informative guide who took us across the mountains with llamas. Guide adjusted to our pace. Excellent views and unique experience. Best to get there by public transit (Swiss Pass applies).

What an amazing experience. Marc was a great guide and very knowledgeable and entertaining. The llamas were one of our trips’ highlights and we have such great memories of our trip to Lichtenstein. We highly recommend this for any family that wants something a little out of the ordinary with great a scenery and a memorable experience for the whole family.

We visited the farm shop, being unable to do a Llama Alpaca tour. They have a small self-service shop on the premises selling local produce, honeys, oils, salami and llama salami (which was out of stock when we visited).

We had an amazing time staying in the yurt overnight and then going on a walk with the llamas the next morning! The location is beautiful and the walk was pure magic - we couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

We had a great walk with lamas in the evening including barbeque. We are two adults and two children 7 and 3 years old, and were given one lama per each adult/child couple. It was really easy to handle the animals, I'd even say the animals themselves were quite cooperative. The walk is mostly in the forest, the path is easy despite little bit dirty (trekking shoes are more appropriate). The barbeque was also nice with enough food/drinks for everyone. Overall, great experience.

Lama- & Alpakahof Triesenberg is a unique and exciting experience for anyone who loves animals and enjoys hiking in the mountains. Visitors have the opportunity to walk with these majestic animals, which include both llamas and alpacas. This is a great way to explore the beautiful countryside around Triesenberg, which is located in Liechtenstein. I had a fantastic time and enjoyed the chance to get up close and personal with these beautiful animals and to learn more about their behavior and habits. The staff at the farm are also friendly and knowledgeable, providing visitors with interesting insights into the world of llamas and alpacas. Another great thing about Lama- & Alpakahof Triesenberg is that it is suitable for people of all ages and abilities. Whether you are an experienced hiker or just looking for a leisurely stroll, you can find a route that suits you. The animals themselves are also very gentle and easy to handle, making this a great activity for families with young children. All in all, if you are looking for a unique and memorable experience in Triesenberg, visiting Lama- & Alpakahof Triesenberg should definitely be on your list. From the stunning mountain scenery to the friendly and fascinating animals, there is something here for everyone. So why not take a walk with the mountains and the llamas?

The lama walk was a very nice experience! We enjoyed it very much. We each guided a lama and they are such nice animals. They like to eat a lot of grass during the hike. Marc our guide was a very nice guy and fun to talk to. He speaks German and English. So if you can, do the lamawalk!!

This is a true Liechtenstien experience to visit this llama and alpaca farm and to do the llama hike. The owner, Marc, is an awesome guy and makes you feel super comfortable. I lived in liechtenstien for a while and have taken every visitor here. I recommend the evening hike where you are served some nice local food halfway through. I also recommend the gloves and socks if you’re looking for llama apparel.

Great experience! Marc was an awesome guide. I always feel intimated not knowing how to speak German and he made me the experience very comfortable by conducting the hike in English. Even though we had locals who spoke German with us, he made everyone feel included and welcomed. He laid out the plan for the evening and provided clear instructions on how to handle the llamas. I would definitely come back again. Thank you for everything! Recommend to people with kids!

Spent the morning with Marc, and Llamas Trully and Baloo. It was probably due to the rainy-foggy weather that it turned out the session was just for my family but it was perfect for us. Marc speaks great English and shared alot. Our little girl thoroughly enjoyed her walk with a mischievous and perpetually hungry Baloo who wouldn't stop munching the whole way. This visit definitely be recommended if you love animals and if you want to experience a mini scenic hike.

You must check out the llamas! They are so cute with cute names!!!! They are so well taken care of and you get the opportunity to go trekking with them. Beautiful trails. Marc, the owner, was a fantastic guide. Speaks very good English if you do not speak German. You must visit their farm on your next trip to Switzerland!!!!

The best experience ever! It was so funny and Fred was a lovely companion. Marc is really nice and explained everything and support all in this 2 hours trekking. If you are in Liechtenstein you should book it, because it will be a day to tell in future for your grand-kids. Highly recommended.

I did the lama trekking in Malbun, it lasted about 2 hours and it was a lovely experience. The hike is suitable for everybody. Marc and his wife are very nice people and were very helpful in explaining us how to handle these cute animals (who loves eating a lot of grass).

Very very unique experience. It is very different than just looking in a zoo when you get to pet them and walk them. The trails are light and easy, perfect for everyone. Marc was very nice and would answer all our questions. I would definitely recommend this.

Had a wonderful experience staying as the inaugural guest in the yurt. It was a really special place to stay with wonderful hosts. Being here was about as different a place could be to New York City, where I live, and was the perfect escape from reality.

Although the tour had to be cancelled in Malbun due to heavy snow conditions, we were offered to do it in Triesenberg and it was wonderful! The kids had a lot of fun and learned a lot about the lamas :) Thank you!

As other reviewers mentioned, THIS is the coolest thing to do whilst in Liechtenstein. A good comfortable hike in the most beautiful mountains nestled between Switzerland and Austria. Mark and his family are so welcoming and kind; so are the llamas and alpacas they share with us. If you have children who like (or love) animals, can follow rules, don’t have mobility problems and can hike a moderate hill; they will love this activity. The tour is available in German and English. It’s about two hours long. Bring your own water and or small snack. What a wholesome and special thing to do in such a beautiful place!

We stayed 2 nights in the cozy and clean YURT 🛖 . This is the most unique place to stay in Liechtenstein because you get beautiful views. You also get to experience something totally different. Llamas and Alpacas are such wonderful delightful animals. Be sure to book the Alpaca trek! So much fun for the whole family.
