this was my families go to place when we wanted fish & chips. not anymore! the food quality has died down immensely but of course the prices have gone up. the chicken schnitzel taste like its been cooked in the same fryer as the fish, the garden salad is pathetic and the coleslaw is disgusting! never thought i’d have a negative thought about this place but after tonight we will not be returning.

I rang with 10 min..before closing..raced down picked it up..the fish was perfect crumbed..the chips were to die for..no they were awesome..and tartare sauce..the best seafood around..thanks awesome team..kim v

We ordered a chicken burger. We couldn't eat it as the chicken schnitzel tasted like fish. Wouldnt go there again

Omg. So clean, So quick, so well priced and so friendly. Our first visit here and extremely impressed. This food is fabulous and fresh and the kids raved about the chips. Will definitely be our families new local.

Order placed through Uber eats - a burger, a barramundi pack and a serve of chips, as well as a bottle of coke. Captain Hook (I doubt its his real name or if he is an actual captain), did not provide all items in the order (the order was minus the order of chips and the barramundi was obviously butterfish. When contacted, our gratious captian was not so gratious. He blamed the uber driver and uber for his obvious inability to provide the correct items in the order. This is a disgrace. Does this captain think it is acceptable to not provide all that is ordered and then hide behind uber when the issue is obviously their incompetence in understanding and providing what a customer wants.

Not very good since new owners / management take over in the last year !! Been a customer here for years but the chips taste awful food has gone down hill big time not wasting my time and money with this joint anymore

So I ordered the fish and chips with salad pack for a late lunch I had. As the chips are delicious and crunchy as the fish was delicious as well, as the salads were amazing and tasty As I know that I will be ordering from here again in the future As my auntie also loves this place as well

We had dinner here every Friday Loved their steak sandwiches but not any more. Not sure what’s happened but u lucky to get couple slices of streak now. Hardly any meat so now we just dont go there. Use to be nice chunky steak sandwiches when u get the lot now light as a feather. Friendly stuff though and chips are nice.

The staff are always friendly and the food is always good. The chips were always memorable, but they've changed and are not quite as nice.

Have had fish and chips from here a few times and it’s always really good. Side salads are ok, not a highlight. Service is pretty fast and food is usually ready 10-15 minutes after ordering.

Food was very ordinary. Spent $60 on food. prawns( dry and burnt) 2 burgers which didn't have what we ordered them and tasteless. Chips dry and re-cooked. Calamari which was over cooked. And a tiny little tub of tartare for 6 prawns and 8 pieces of calamari. New owners since I was last there might explain it. The food was always faultless before

Love this place. Every time i have gone there staff are very friendly especially the owners. Love there hamburgers, fish and calamari. I feel its the best in the nth east. I suggest give everything a try as it all fresh seafood. My wife loves there battered fish daughter calamari pack i everything.
