Best aquarium place in town and I’ve been to many. Well worth checking out as they have a wide range of fish, wether that be salt water or fresh water and if they don’t have them In stock, you can be sure that the friendly staff at Aquarium World will try their best to source it. They look after their regular customers and take time to help you with any questions you might have.

Customer service here is great. Anh has a large variety of fish and items in store. Very knowledgeable! Definitely a great help for anyone wanting to start a tank or add to an existing tank.

After a horrifying experience at competition: Fish Haven, I bit the bullet and stopped in to Aquarium World. What a pleasant surprise, they’re literally the opposite to (dead) Fish Haven! Happy and friendly staff, beautifully bright store with a great variety of *healthy* fish! The advice from here is genuine and accurate. Love this place, the tanks are always clean and the variety is great. Never have I had an issue with any fish I have purchased from here (and that's a lot). The worst part I have found with Aquarium World is I can't drive past without stopping in for a 'quick look' and I have never walked out without spending money.... Not because I was made to or felt pressured but because there is always something that I want there and the prices aren't competitive with other places they are straight up cheaper! And the team are always friendly and happy to help.

Wow! Absolutely the best fish place in town. I always go out of my way to come here for any advice or to simply buy fish. These guys go above and beyond for their customers , they know the answers to everything , super knowledgeable! Very welcoming store and well worth the trip from home. Huge range of fish from cold waters , tropicals and marine!

Diverse. That probably the word. Freshwater *wide range of stock for nano to monster sized tanks *rocks, woods, various sized of tanks, equipment, ornaments for aquascape, get creative to your heart content. *unique, unusual range of fish that you wont see in other store in Adelaide Marine *stunning, stinging, mouth gaping range of coral and anemone *again, this guy are quite resourceful, unique creature of the sea that you wont usually see in other store in Adelaide *amazingly displayed in the middle, along with the price, so you dont have to keep wondering how many days you have to eat instant noodle cuz your wife kicked you out in the couch. Overall: Adam and arnie know their sheit, i consider they quite responsible,want you to success with your fish keeping journey and refuse to sell live stock if your tank still cycling. The price also very competitive, affordable, best in adelaide in my opinion, im poor btw. Cons: *not many range of plants *dont come here during weekend and expect quick service, they can get busy and hastily caught the livestock, you dont want that. Fish dead, you mad, store get 1 star, nobody happy.

Nice big shop. Lots of interesting fish and nice, helpful staff. A little pricey but most of the staff will work out a deal if buying a bit which is great. Definitely worth it if you are looking for mature fish or something different in your tank.

Extremely helpful and knowledgeable with a great variety of fish and aquarium products Im in the process of fixing up my neglected tank and so far have had some good advice on what to do. Also been asking questions on my plans for planting out my tank and what plants to get as i have silver dollars that love to eat them - again have had some good advice. Friendly staff and affordable prices 🙂

I was unfortunate enough to have the back of my shirt snag an ornament on a shelf behind me in this place. Apparently it was worth $100. They got me to pay $50 for it. Now thinking about it afterwards, I don't believe I in any way acted negligently, and have zero control over preciously placed items in their store. Obviously after this experience I will never be back. You may want think about how you treat such situations in future. I'm now very happy with my $1500 setup that I just purchased elsewhere, when all they seemed worried about their loss.

Just found this aquarium place close to work, great stock and variety. Love looking at all the fish even when just calling in to get some food. Guys are very helpful with what fish will work well in tank and suitable for fish already have. Definitely a favourite store to visit!

Yeah was keen to deck out our new aquarium... disappointed majorly! couldn't get any assistance *not busy just not helpful* and their tanks just made me sad for their critters =( The outside of this building is great but that's where it ended for me, inside is nothing like the exterior would suggest.

Hands down, the best Aquarium store in Adelaide. Knowledgeable staff, clean shop, healthy stock and helpful advice. The guys really know what they are doing and have all bases of aquariums, ponds and aquaculture covered! Highly recommend a visit!!

I hadn’t been having much success with my tropical tank and was considering giving up on it as the new fish I was purchasing seemed to perish pretty quickly, and then they’d take out my exisiting healthy fish. After triple checking my water conditions I thought I’d have one last crack, and I don’t want to bag out another store, but while browsing I began to pay more attention to all of their tanks and I noticed quite a few had sick or unwell fish. After noticing that I walked out without making a purchase and then went to Aquarium World. I looked carefully at all of their tanks and every single tank was spotless and there was not one unwell or ill fish. So since then I’ve only purchased fish from these guys and my tank is thriving - I just wish I’d started coming here sooner as it would have saved both money and stress. In addition to heathy and happy fish, they also have a massive range and their prices are extremely reasonable, plus they are happy to give you advice but they’re not pushy about it. These guys clearly know what they’re doing and I cannot recommend them highly enough!

This place has a large number of fish from tropical, salt and fresh water. Good array of products, pumps, etc. The owner is very knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. Definitely worth a visit. I rate it as 4.5 out of 5.

I was so excited to discover this shop. Can't believe I didn't know it was here. Friendly staff, amazing range of fish. We only bought Rosy Barbs but there were so many tropical and cold water fish to choose from. They have display fish too - super cool to see a freshwater sting ray!

Absolutely amazing service today. I bought a new fish tank. The salesman offered to set it up for me, I said nahh how hard could it be. I got home, opened the box and thought ok, not as easy as I thought. Then two phone calls later to the store and all sorted. Many thanks for your help.
