Had a pleasure to find this magical gem of a place. Not only for the goodness of the food but atmosphere, hospitality, the view for dayze, everything came together here. The place is a go to for delicious food and strong coffee! I was pleased with my stay in every aspect. Loved how easy and accessible the beach was and away from the bustling Mombasa! Thank you for everything Kijani. A true place for a Warrior!!

I was alittle scared of trying this new restaurant but as soon as I did…. It became the restaurant I would recommend to EVERYONE! The staff are friendly, the ambience is calm and the waiting time is fast! This restaurant has items that no other restaurant in Mombasa has and the price is fair! I will DEFINITELY be coming back! It’s a hidden Gem! 10/10!

I had the prawns and rice. I loved loved the prawns. I asked the waitress (Bestine) on best menu options and she guided me through it. I loved her service. For someone who went for a solo date, I felt really safe and had the best time of my life. I would recommend this place over and over again! I literally fell in love. Also S/O to the bartender for the cocktails! I enjoyed my whole experience!💛

Very good quality of service and food. Also nice setup with tables and open kitchen. For lunch, breakfast and working on your laptop or reading a book r why not a businessmeeting, excellent. Great variety of food.

This is a serene place located off Greenwood drive in Mombasa along a private beach. Security is very good and it's family friendly with good night lighting. The beach is clean, and very serene. Restaurant serves both soft and hard drinks and food is mostly on order ranging from beef, vegan menu and pizza. Service is good with ample outdoor sitting place and a good breeze. There is no discrimination and you'll find mostly white and Asian families here with a few Kenyans. It's a bit far from the main road so you'll need a car or to take an Uber.

The location is quite interior . But once you get there it’s worth it!the place has an amazing ambience and very photogenic great place to have a relaxed Sunday not too loud and on the beach . The pizza was good . The waiters are very friendly and very good . All in all a very good place to chill on a Sunday afternoon and also reasonably priced

Their heart is in the right place but they still need to organize themselves better, especially the servers who’re running around wildly. Service is slow but probably because they just moved here from Links road. Had a virgin mojito which was just as it should be - cold and refreshing. I’ll probably be back due to the serene location and to try more dishes which I hadn’t sampled in their previous location.

They’ve just re-opened at a lovely new location right along the water, next to Tree House. You’ll have the option to sit in a beautiful covered patio with tables, or lounge on the grassy expanse in their comfy outdoor furniture. Whatever you choose, there’s a remarkable view of the ocean. The menu is a fusion of Mediterranean, Mexican, and Mombasan with a health emphasis and solid vegetarian options. Staff were friendly and attentive. Great place for kids - playground equipment and palm trees fit for climbing. Bed and breakfasts rooms are coming soon which are accompanied by a pool. Enjoyed my visit, hope to be back!

Love the place. Limited menu but good food. Little bit of improvement needed on service. However, one of the best places to chill out with the family. For diners, swimming pool and beach access allowed. Their calamari and steak was really good. Nice day! Thanks Kijani Bistro for a lovely day!

It's a small paradise. The food, juices and coffee is amazing, the staff is so trustworthy, lovely and kind! I really fell in love with this place. You can easily spend an entire afternoon till night there - even the cocktails are great! And thanka to the staff again for keeping my kikoi safe :)

My favourite cafe in Mombasa! The staff are fantastic - having worked in hospitality I know good service when I see it. Personable and making sure to follow up on the little things. For me it’s the perfect place to sit down and work for a few hours. Great menu. Highly recommend!

Lovely ambience, delicious, large portions food. Great service. Lavender, yes, that's her name, was a super waitress. A great time overlooking the Indian Ocean, watching the ships sail in...⛵ We shall definitely return.

Reason for 2 stars the manager and the head cook came to acknowledge our complaint. The seating of this place is nice. Recommend for drinks only the food is not to standard for what we ordered was zero did not match the description on the menu at all. Service is slow they need to invest in training their staff has no basic customer service skills. Not coming back in a while

Highly highly recommended! The location is amazing. You can feel the comfortable breeze from the sea, enjoy the ocean view.. the beach is just infront of you! Very calm and beautiful place. Also, food&drinks were really good. I orderd mint lemonade. I loved it. For food, I ordered Mexican Bowl which was super nice, more than I expected. Next day, I ordered pasta. It was also amazing. I love this place. Staffs(especially Lavender!) are always kind and nice. They didn't have some dishes on menu which i wanted to have. That a little bit disappointed me. Anyway thanks for a wonderful time. definitely visit here again!

Good food, of the fusion Swahili + Mexican + Mediterranean kind... They offer healthy meals with a bunch of bright ingredients like avocados, squash, capsicum and bell peppers. Healthy juices and shakes to top up with. The coffee is nice as well. Friendly staff, bright and cheerful interiors. Great for a lazy weekend meal. I do wish they come up with much more variety...

Amazing restaurant with really good food. Its healthy fresh ingredients and you really taste it. My favorite is the chocolate brownie. Also the orange lavendar lemonade is unique! Kids friendly: they have a wonderful play corner and the kids menu is good :) The owner Laura is really friendly and makes sure all food wishes are fullfilled.

....a hugh menu. This place is always impressive. Set among the coconut trees on the beach. The staff if very attentive and efficient. I had the fajitas. Absolutely the best I have ever had. Extensive drink selection. There is also a market shop here where you can buys all sorts of thinks. The opening hours are 10am to 10 pm. You will not be disappointed visiting this hidden gem of Mombasa. Try it. I will be returning for sure.

Beautiful + cosy place, cool concept with market for shopping and nice food. the mango halloumi wrap was amazing and everything else looked great as well. Very friendly staff
