I very much enjoyed my stay at the Bamboo. It is a quiet comfortable place that feels more like a home than a hotel. The food was also excellent but even better was the service. The staff were efficient, polite, and a pleasure to work with. Room was very clean, and had everything one needs. It is also close to town and very safe. I highly recommend the Bamboo and will put my international guests here as well. Adam S.

The rooms were beautiful. The service was great. When we come back to Malawi, we would love to stay there again. The kindness and friendliness of the staff made it easy to rest after a day of ministry. We would highly recommend this hotel and restaurant.

A very awesome and lovely place to be. The rooms are super clean, and the meals at the restaurant are sumptuous. Breakfast is served well and there is a variety to choose from. Exemplary services.

We stayed at the Bamboo hotel for quite some time during our mission trip from Mississippi, USA. Overall, I’d say that I enjoyed my stay. The staff were really consistently nice and helpful, especially Emmanuel, Grace, & Carolyne, and John & Matthew in the restaurant. The rooms were beautiful, and the housekeeping staff kept them very nice & cleaning. There were a few bugs here and there, but nothing extreme. I’d stay there again, and would recommend it.

The hotel is in a quiet and serenic place. Directions are clear. From the time of checking in everything was on point. A warm welcome from Grace at the reception, she took care of us. The staff was very responsive and made sure our stay was memorable πŸ˜ƒ. Kudos to the manager on duty πŸ‘. Thumps up to the complimentary car wash everyday. Breakfast was good but could do with variety. Served the same food every other day. The rooms are super clean and very comfortable. We can't wait for our next stay 😊

Lots of character, clean with good food. My room was a bit small with only a small window and dim lights, so not ideal for a long work stay but I know most other rooms were large with big windows. So important to ask for one of those rooms

Nice place, good food, kind staff. The driver that the receptionist called for us at night, Jonathan, is great! For going out I recommend getting Jonathan’s taxi service!

The waiter requires adequate training. He was quite slow with bringing out our food even though we ordered ahead of time. There was a delay with billing and it wasn't quite explained. Very aesthetic and lovely location but the service was sub-par.

The service was great. I only went there for the food. The burrito bowl was fantastic, the burger was just okay and the cocktail was very watered down which was disappointing especially because it was not cheap.

I stayed for 10 nights and was impressed with the consistent of service, food quality, cleanliness and friendly safe. A safe dependable and quiet alternative in a stable community. All staff were pleasant and attentive to my needs. I could have stayed longer and this will be my hotel of choice the next time in Lilongwe. The hotel is well led by the manager, Sarath

I've stayed here on two different occasions now on work trips to Malawi. Facilities are nice and clean, and rooms are furnished with large comfortable bed and good water pressure in bathroom. Hotel restaurant is good and breakfast is included with your room. Wifi is fairly reliable, and hotel has generator for blackouts. There is a airport transfer available for a fee. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful, and graciously held my bag for 3 nights while I took a short trip to another city with just a carry on. Hotel is in a residential neighborhood so not walkable to many other restaurants, but close to main roads and nearby many NGO and embassy headquarters. Recommend as a place to stay in Lilongwe.

The hotel is beautiful and friendly but the wait for food was horrendous 3 hours and the orders didn’t even come together despite being almost empty. Would not recommend at all.

Bamboo has been one of the best hotels I’ve ever had the pleasure to stay at. The staff was warm receiving us and so friendly. The attached restaurant is delicious and so accommodating. I asked the chef to make butter chicken and it was the best butter chicken I’ve ever had. I spent a month there and it was one of the best stays I’ve ever had. Power goes out frequently though.

We only came to dine so no need for stars on rooms. The restaurant is great with good ambience food is tasty but they have to improve on time we had to wait for almost like an hour for food to be delivered. Professional waiter service even though food delayed the waiter kept checking on us John was awesome.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Bamboo Boutique Hotel in Lilongwe, Malawi and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with a mix of traditional African and modern elements that create a stylish and comfortable atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, clean and well-appointed with all the amenities you could need, including fast Wi-Fi and air conditioning. The hotel also boasts a great restaurant, serving up delicious meals using fresh, local ingredients. I highly recommend the Bamboo Boutique Hotel. It's the perfect place to whether you're stay just 1 night or if you have an extended stay in Lilongwe.

I took a gamble putting my international delegates in a hotel I have never had an experience of but they in the end gave positive review. Very clean rooms and of high standard., brilliant breakfast. They assured me they would want to stay at this hotel again next time they are in Malawi whether on a private trip or official. Thank You
