there are little festivals often and the ice cream, oh, the ice cream is really good. But is really far from the city so is like a road trip. Good for family visits. 4 of 5

It's a beautiful town square. In fact the Chosica town also is beautiful endowed with a good climate. The streets and pavements are spacious and clean.
Stopped here on my way back to Lima on a Sunday and I got amazed by the amount of people walking, eating and enjoying family time here. You could see live entertainment, food stands, souvenirs, sweets, playground for kids and much more. I know is not close to Lima centre but if you happen to be around, give it a go!
Quite large, there are some street vendors around who offer a variety of articles and food. There are also some playgrounds disposed of in a fair, carnival sort of display. Ice cream is expensive all around.
