recently
visited
(23/03/23)
this
cafe-restaurant
with
a
group
of
co-workers
and
had
a
disappointing
experience.
We
were
enticed
by
the
30%
off
food
menu
promotion
advertised
on
the
table,
which
stated
that
it
was
available
from
12:00-15:00.
We
placed
our
food
orders
at
around
1
pm
and
were
surprised
to
find
out
that
we
didn't
receive
the
discount
when
we
received
our
bill
later
on.
When
I
asked
the
staff
member
why
this
was
the
case,
she
told
me
that
we
had
to
pay
before
15:00
to
receive
the
discount.
This
information
was
not
communicated
to
us
at
the
time
of
ordering,
and
there
was
no
signage
or
indication
of
this
policy
in
the
restaurant.
What
made
the
experience
worse
was
the
staff
member's
attitude
towards
my
inquiry.
She
was
dismissive
and
implied
that
we
should
have
known
about
the
policy,
even
though
we
were
not
informed
of
it.
Additionally,
when
I
suggested
that
she
could
have
reminded
us
to
pay
before
15:00
to
receive
the
discount,
she
told
me
that
she
didn't
want
to
disturb
us
because
we
were
using
our
laptops.
This
was
not
a
satisfactory
response,
and
it
left
a
bad
taste
in
my
mouth.
I
want
to
note
that
this
is
my
first
review
ever,
and
I
feel
compelled
to
share
my
experience.
It's
important
to
mention
that
my
dissatisfaction
was
not
about
the
discount
or
money,
but
rather
the
lack
of
communication
and
customer
service.
Overall,
I
was
disappointed
with
the
lack
of
communication
and
customer
service
at
this
restaurant.
I
would
not
recommend
it
to
others
based
on
my
experience.
