My son and I went to this restaurant on a Wednesday at about 1 pm in January. We were immediately checked for flight passes and then quickly seated. The host covered the table with a disposable table cover, gave us white bread, and menus. I ordered the platter for 1, a fresh orange juice, and a glass of house rosé. This was enough for both of us (son is 4) and we couldn’t even finish all of the rice. The juice was so sweet and fresh! The rosé was easy to drink. My favorite part was the prawns and if I went there again I would just prawns and calamari because those were the best. Great value for money here!

The place was full of people recommended to call and book or like me what I have done is writing my name on the waiting list (usually Sundays) and continue my walk and come back when they call. The place was super clean super nice and had a good view. The first plate they offer you wasn't that much of an intersection just to break your hunger and the taste was so and so. For the main dish it was tasty and delicious. Give them a visit.

I recently dined at Ocean Basket in Cyprus, and my experience was a mixed one. The food was quite nice, and I appreciated that aspect of the visit. The staff, while friendly, were a bit too attentive at the beginning, but strangely hard to find when I needed them later on. One awkward moment was when it came time to pay the bill. The waiter asked if I wanted to leave a tip, which I thought was already included. He explained that it was just the VAT included, which put me in an uncomfortable spot. I didn't appreciate feeling pressured to leave a tip, and this aspect of the service could be improved. Overall, my experience at Ocean Basket falls somewhere in the middle. The food was enjoyable, but the service left something to be desired, particularly in the way tips were handled.

The best seafood platters are here! This is place falls under the must visit places when in ayia napa. We also tried their sushi and they are very tasty. The service is good and the staff are friendly. However there's always a waiting list so make sure not to visit during rush hours.

I am very happy that I came to this restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There were no free space and the staff-lady took my phone number to let us know when a table would be available. Overall .... Amazing dining experience. Great place to have dinner with friends. The octopus was melt in your mouth. Fish, shrimp, mussels something delicious. Highly recommended!!

The best shrimps are here!! A plate of see food for one person costs - 14 euros, for two - from 31€. Definitely worth it. Waiters were very friendly. They asked us several times if everything was fine and were ready to improve our experience. Waitlist was about 20 minutes, after 8pm it is better to call in advance

Best experience in Larnaca! Super delicious seafood. We went there 2 times for seafood and orange cake dessert. They are awesome.

The entire staff was professional, and the dishes were prepared quickly, so we didn't have to wait for anything too long. The food was delicious and fresh. However, towards the end of dinner, a lot of people arrived, and it started to get noisy. That was the only drawback we noticed.

That was such a great meal. People were very friendly, the whole service was excellent and it didn’t take more than 10 mins from the moment I ordered until I got served. Definitely worth coming here, it’s also really affordable, what probably shocked me the most

The food is amazing. If you are a fan of seafood, I highly recommend trying their dishes. To every order, they bring complimentary bread with 3 sauces. We went a few times while on our trip.

Great place, very nice staff! We loved them-super friendly, welcoming, forthcoming and taking great care of their customers. 😊 Restaurant is baby friendly and the food is fresh. They give you detailed description of the meals, as well as what is good for children and what not. 😊 I recommend Cyprus coffee - great way to finish great meals😊 Try grilled Halumi cheese and go for the mixed plates. 😊 Place is clean and waiters take great care when bringing plates and knives and forks so everything stays super clean😊

Came here at 9pm on a Sunday night- Good place for a quick meal we thought! Unfortunately that quick meal was slowed down by rather overwhelmed Waitering staff. Ordered the calamari down in three ways- was ok.Rice was cold when it arrived. Also ordered 10 king prawns- which was ok.Grilled vegetables was average. Chips was average. Wine was below par. Service was overwhelmed by customer numbers- Sunday night perhaps!

The best restaurant for dinner if you like fresh and delicious fish. Really good prices for excellent quality. Profesional service, very polite which is not so common in Cyprus.

Amazing place in general. I’ve been to Ocean Basket before but not Cyprus. So helpful staff, especially waiter Kostas. He helped with a menu and made my stay as perfect as it should be. Recommend the place, food and location. The platter was super delicious 😍

Not the great place but really very tasty food. Service was great, especially Franklin. We spent some times the and i would advise you to follow all cheats suggested by servants. Octopus and calmari are really delicious!

We had lunch today there, the service was very good. The mocktails are really nice and the food was tasty and the portions were generous. One of my favourites was the greek salad with falafel and the oysters, but actually we enjoyed everything what we ordered. I would recommend to everyone visiting Larnaca.

We chose a place for dinner on Google Maps. The price level does not correspond to the quality. The food is tasty and primitive, and the price tag is quite high compared to other places in Larnaca. After asking for the check we were brought as a compliment very sweet fruit in syrup, which is impossible to eat without a drink. Very many waiters, you will definitely be served quickly.

This place definitely serves a lot of seafood, but it's mostly average because the diner operates like a conveyor belt. The staff is so busy that the experience becomes impersonal and involves long waits. Despite this, the staff still dares to ask for tips.

It’s a proper seafood restaurant, more on a fancy fast-food side. I ordered grilled fish and chips (with veggies instead of chips 😅) and I really liked it. I also took an oyster (which was alright) and house wine (also pretty ok). I’m glad I stopped by not it wasn’t special enough to come back

hello first of all I would like to add that after many visits to restaurants in larnaca it must be clearly said that Ocean Basket is unrivaled. My god what a food. served very quickly and the taste of prawns is the best I've had in my life. Noteworthy is the service, especially the kindest gentleman named Franklin. Mr. Franklin helped us choose what we needed, he has a lot of knowledge of what he serves. It's nice to be served by such a good waiter who thoroughly and professionally explained what is worth tasting and has such good contact with the guests. speaks English very well. The food was absolutely amazing. The best eat we had in Larnaca. The service was really good for such a crowded place. We paid 48€ for the two dishes, two deserts, one virgin mojito and two glasses of wine. It's great value for the money and we are sure to return and try out more dishes.

Stumbled on this restaurant after being recommended to visit the promonade in Finikoudes, Larnaca, Cyprus. Was looking for a good seafood meal, there were others but Ocean Basket caught our eyes. Food was excellent and did not disappoint, we got the sharing platter for two, price decent as well. I would definitely recommend!

Really nice place with delicious seafood and fish. Good service and prices! There is also quite nice choice for vegetarians (grilled haloumi, zucchini, falafels).

Ordered sushi for delivery from OB and it was not bad at all ! I recommend the seared salmon ponzu. The fish arrived a bit at warm temperature but other than that we enjoyed it.

Food here is just great! We ordered “full deck platter”-fish, shrimps, calamari and mussels- everything was just delicious, and also greek salad. We had a takeaway and the staff managed to put everything in the box nicely. Desserts are also tasty, some of them can be very sweet, it depends on what you like. For 5-6 persons this was enough.

A great place to eat seafood with a beautiful view. I normally don’t expect anything special from restaurants in such touristic spots maybe that’s why Ocean Basket felt like a really great experience. We ate a big plate for two and were full as a group of three. The food was delicious. Service was okay - nothing outstanding. We really enjoyed cats running around the whole time though 🐈

Overrated and over priced place. We left about 45€ for two people for food that wasn’t tasty as we expected from a seafood restaurant. Grilled cheese, oysters and rice were good, but everything else… :((( I am truly disappointed.

This was the first place we ate at when we came to Cyprus. Good first impression for sure! Great seafood platter for a reasonable price. Yummy calamari! Cyprian wine was nice too.

Great seafood place next to the sea promenade. Liked a lot their octopus and seafood plateau. Ended up going several times there

After walking by for weeks decided to give it a try, as it always looks very busy. We have arrived at a busy time and as the tables were full we have been asked to wait for a while. The young lady at the desk got us a table in less than 20 minutes which it was fantastic. We have ordered the large fish platter and a Greek salad which they have arrived very quick at the table considering how busy it was. All the items tasted great and I did liked the butter cream sauce that it was served with it. My favourite were the prawns and mussels. The service it as ok and that is the reason for the 4 stars as if the waiter had a bit more enthusiasm about the dishes then it would have been 5.
