We had dinner at this place a Saturday night during the carnival period. The food was generally good. I would recommend it.

Wonderful restaurant in the city centre. Great food, big portions, friendly staff, nice music... Suitable for bigger groups and families, but would recommend making a reservation first. Among kind waiters, mister Paris was exceptionally welcoming and friendly. Overall a good restaurant!

Top food and nice prices. We selected (as a group) their tasting set - meze for 24 euros. This may sound expensive but is a walkthrough thru a set of tasty appetizers, one large main and top desert! Definitely recommended. The service was fast (considering) there was 25 of us.

One of the best meze we had until now! Everything was fresh and freshly prepared and all that they served was of great quality! We usually visit France and eat at Michelin Guide and Gault&Millau's guide restaurants and the taste was of that standard!! You can tell that their Chef has a very clear and balanced taste! Everything was delicious and especially their Sheftalia! We love Sieftalies and theirs it was the best we ate until now!! Cooked to perfection, with finely chopped ingredients and great traditional taste! Their kleftiko was excellent and very delicious also! Their prices are very good, especially for the city of Limassol! Their service was very good and professional. Actually we couldn't find any fault! We will visit again for sure, to try more dishes!!

The food from this tavern is just mind blowing. Make sure to come here in a group of 2 at least and order the shared meze as it was extraordinary. It was more than we have expected, food was delicious and mouthwatering 😋

Delicious traditional Cypriot food, great atmosphere and very friendly service. The menu offers a good selection of Cypriot food. The salad and the beef were delicious, the portion for the salad (as appetizer) was very big. The location and atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice, being directly next to the Limassol castle on a square without cars.

The Seabass was cooked perfectly, but some of the jumbo prawns were dry. Service in general was good, but they missed our request to serve olive oil and dressing on the side. Overall we had a nice meal.

Cannot rate this place enough. Fantastic local at the back of the castle. Looks lovely lit up in the evening. Indoor and outdoor seating available so ask for outdoor when booking to make the most of it. Recommend to order the meza. This is an absolute steal at 22 euro each with amazing quality food that just keep on coming. Staff were friendly and helpful too.

The food is amazing, really ! If you want to eat locally, this is one of the best place of all the harbor! However, this is really too much.... So way too much waste.. but the food is great. Especially the dessert (keep some room for it !)

The prices are relatively good for Limassol, yet the quality of the food and the taste was underwhelming. Most of the meat was really dry, and the variety of plates on the meze was really small. The service was really slow as well. My experience was pretty average.

Superb Tavern in the Old Town of Limassol. We've been going every year and it is still consistently superb. My only recommendation is to turn up hungry! Individual recommendations are as follows: Lamb cutlets Pork shank Half a roast chicken Special Karatello salad Finished off with Lokoumades and ice cream!

Great place, food and service. I would recommend to make a reservation in advance. Only recommendation is to improve the dessert as part of the Meze meal.

If you are looking to know more about the Cyprus cosine Karatello will be the best place you can pay €25 per person and you will have enough food it's kind of buffet . It suits vegetarian and vegan as well. I highly recommended this place.
