Great atmosphere, very warm and friendly staff and servers. They have managed to create a very homely vibe and the food is served with lots of love and many smiles. The prices are very reasonable and the food is great. Everything we ordered was fresh and tasted great. Will highly recommend and surely visit again. Thank you very much for the amazing experience.

The reviews didn’t lie. The food was incredible, the staff was very accommodating as we didn’t have a reservation. The atmosphere was very homey, you really felt the local culture eating here. And best of all, completely affordable! €20 per person, and €3.50 for 630ml beer. If you’ve traveled the rest of Europe you’d know for this type of experience you can’t beat those prices! Worth every penny.

Very good, local restaurant with fantastic service. Food was delicious and quick, high quality. Lamb main fabulous, cold mezes great and aplenty. Moussaka very good. Four stars given instead of five, due to chicken skewers being slightly tasteless.

Very nice restaurant in Limassol with great food and a fantastic service! We ordered the meat Meze, a Keo bier and a aperol Spritz. Everything was brought very quickly. The food was amazing and the staff checked in us regularly. We had a perfect stay! Reservations are recommend if you want to eat later in the evening.

In the outskirts of Limassol city centre, you will find one of the best Cyprian restaurants in the city. The restaurant is set in a clean and authentic looking building. When we went here, we were welcomed by some lovely servers and quickly got a menu. We went for the vegetarian meze and some sparkling water. We first got some appertizer, accompanied by a stunning salad with capers. Then the main dishes came to the table one by one, and they all tasted authentic and most importantly, really good. We were so full after the main dishes, but there were also some great finishing dishes and a dessert. Overall great experience with a LOT of food, especially considering the price. To top it all of, I got a coffee on the house. If you are staying in Limassol or close by, this restaurant is a must visit.

Our dining experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag, with the quality of the food being the standout. We commenced our meal with a delightful shrimp starter that was perfectly cooked and seasoned. This was followed by our main courses - I chose the sea bass which was expertly prepared, full of flavor, and cooked to perfection. My friend had the lamb with fries, and they were quite pleased with their choice as well. The meat was tender, and the fries were crispy. We also shared a Greek salad which was refreshing, a balance of crisp vegetables and tangy dressing, providing a pleasant contrast to our hearty mains. The portions were significant, leaving us feeling more than satisfied. However, the service we experienced left much to be desired. We found ourselves waiting for our order for approximately 40 minutes, which felt longer given our anticipation for the meal. This extended wait time for food was definitely a downside in our dining experience. Further, when we were unable to finish our large meals and requested to take the remaining food home, the staff's involvement was minimal. Instead of assisting us with packaging the food, we were handed a box and left to manage it on our own. While the food itself was impressive, the service aspects of our experience could definitely use some refinement and improvement.

The service is on the top level, people are very welcoming there, polite and delicate. And food is delicious. We ordered Meze (min for 2 people) and everything was fresh and tasty

This place was very close to our accomodation and we discovered it the day we arrived. Yesterday my wife and I decided to give it a try and was not disappointed in the least. We went for the meat meze. Three courses of the finest Greek Cypriot typical delicacies that I (and I have the notorious reputation of always finishing off a plate) was unable to finish. Great quality, decent portions, friendly service, and very good value. Could not recommend it enough!

The meat is a good choice here. Fish we have tried better else where but its decent so you will leave full and satisfied! Staff is helpful and friendly 👍

Very tasty food, fresh, and at affordable prices. They have a menu with all the alergens on each dish, so for example, we found good gluten-free options to choose from, and it was very good. The service is quick and polite and the place is lovely and lively with a good atmosphere 😀

We didn't have any reservations but we waited 10min to get a table. Overall we had a great time at Meze. The service is top, dedicated and with a touch of humor. And the good was really delicious. And a big heads-up for the sour Brandy the best I had during ou stay in Cyprus!

Definatly the best restaurant we visited during our vacation. Fish was fresh and made perfect, lots of traditional dishes made much better then any average tavern. And really great desserts

We dropped in without reservation, and still got a table after 5 minutes. Staff is very kind and nice, and the food - 5 stars! Absolutely superb! We had chicken souflaki (juicy meat, fine and rich green salad) and moussaka (top!), both of them first class! Highly recommend to visit them! 👌👌

The best place we've ever eaten! During our holidays at Limassol we're here twice - first time we've ordered Meat Meze and then Fish Meze. Both options were just perfect - all meals were brought very fast. Be careful - better to have empty stomach if you plan to share it between only two. Still, despite that we've asked for additional dessert :D - once Fried Ice Cream and next pie with toffee, bananas and ice cream (the 2nd one more than outstanding!). On the top of that there's a wonderful service - highly helpful, mindful and friendly! We wish to visit it again in near future:)

Definitely one the best restaurants I've ever been to. Very good food, very friendly staff, coffee and dessert on the house, a lot of different new things to try(with MEZE). Loved it, a must go for everybody visiting Cyprus.

Went for lunch and it was great experience. Sat inside and had chicken skewer with salad and garlic bread. Food came fast. Friendly service. Menu in English. Good price. Recommend if you want good Greek food.

Because their Cypriot food is so tasty, I decided to eat again in the second day. Very popular among both local and tourists so you may queue during peak hours. But their food, service (they even provide free sweets after your meal) and environment proved the wait's worth. You can tey their Afelia & grilled seabass, you will love them.

We came here for an evening meal away from the hotel. The evening was great, we opted to get a meze and we tried numerous items from the menu and all the food tasted great, we were very full after having the meze. You should come here hungry if you want to eat the meze. We also got a bottle of house white wine and that was to our liking. The restaurant gets busy as the evening goes on, so would recommend making a booking here in advance to guarantee your spot.

From the starters to the Entrees, the food was exquisite and delicious. We would come back to Cyprus just for this restaurant! 😋 The Halloumi is a must! Sea bass is super fresh and melts in your mouth! Tahini pie is a perfect little starter!

One of the best tavern in Limassol as per my choice of course. I've tried fried calamari with chips and hummus and my girlfriend papoutsakia stuffed minced meat and tzatziki. Every dish was excellent prepared and portion are huge. 🫄

Amazing experience at Meze Taverna Restaurant that we ended up going there twice! The service was great and the food delicious. Make sure to call ahead to book a table, as it does get busy, even in the quieter months. Be sure to try the deep fried ice-cream.

We were traveling across Cyprus and this was so far the best dining experience. In fact it was even so good that we came back the next day. The service is super attentive, the food outstandingly delicious and abundant portions. Its a must try when in Limassol!

The service is good. As the place keeps the double doors open and has an open kitchen the A/C was ineffective at 35 degree temp. We ordered the fish Mezze Came with several appetizers. None were very good. They tasted like commercial food you would buy in the supermarket not homemade. Then we were served Calamari. It was missing a dip to go with it. Then served 6 small fish that were missing any taste of spices herbs etc. We were then served sea bream and shrimps. The sea bream was dry. The shrimps came with a nice dip. All in all we were served a significant amount of food.

Everything was just great. Food, service, climate. We have ordered fish meze and were not disappointed at all. Definitely place to come back without any doubt.

Amazing local tradition food! For the Meat Meza, the food kept coming over, salad first and then meat after meat. Loads of food for the price you pay! Absolutely overwhelming good! However one problem... We sat outside and was attracting the wasps which can be annoying but if the wasps wants the food it's must be good! 9/10

This family-run restaurant is one of the best in town. We ate here twice, and it was a treat each time. Their specialty is moussaka, which is delicious with a thick cheese crust and seasoned potatoes inside. The meze are also high quality, and if you ask nicely, you can get a mix of meat and fish meze for the same price. The service is also very good, with a notable mention for the son of the house who runs the inside service. Make a reservation, as the restaurant is full almost every night.

So we were in Cyprus for 8 days and had 3 mezes and this was hands down the best we had the entire trip. Genuinely top top quality, super friendly staff, all food tasted really fresh and freshly made. The lamb cutlets were particularly special! Top recommendation

Great vegetarian options. We took the vegetarian meze and got a lot of food for a fair price. Manny deep fried dishes which was a bit too much for us. Staff is kind and welcoming

We had an excellent lunch at Meze. The food was so fresh and delicious, and the owner was very careful about food intolerances, giving us good advice. The kleftiko, moussaka and imam baylidi were amazing. Would definitely return and recommend to all.

HUGE dishes, we barely handled to eat them! Starters are huge as well. We even thought it’s a separate dish that we didn’t ordered. Additionally, after checking out the waiter presented a small dessert. Highly recommend this tavern!

Mindblown by this tavern. We got a Grill Mix and a Stifado and they were perfectly cooked and abundant. Prices are great and waiters are all very friendly and nice. Will visit again and recommend everyone to do so as well

I was looking for a good local restaurant to have lunch and I came across MEZE Taverna on Google. I ordered the Kleftiko which is lamb served with fries and salad which seemed like a fan favourite. I wasn’t disappointed. Glad I came across this restaurant. And thanks to the owner Pampinos and Damianos who gave me an espresso and Daktyla (ladies finger)a traditional Cypriot dessert on the house.

One of my favorite restaurant in Limassol! It's popular for a reason! The food are of high quality and the service is very friendly! We both ordered the fish meze, it's a lot! We felt so full in the end. But each dish was well prepared and they really try to keep the original tastes of the material. It's better book before you go. It's normally full. We got also complimentary deserts for us in the end.
