We had amazing lunch in Le Frenchie. Food was delicious and with a lot of flavours. We paired with amazing red French Wine

Unfortunately, for this price level, "Le Frenchie" is a very basic restaurant, with uninspired dishes and mediocre service. The scallops were heavily overcooked. The oysters were fresh and the cocktail I tried was decent. I can see why other reviewers were happy with the huge portions, but quite frankly if the quantity of the food is the highlight of a visit at a French restaurant, then a whole lot of other factors need improvement.

The starters and the soups are very good, the wine list is nice and the place it self decorated in good taste. Unfortunately the main courses are dry (duck and frog legs) and have no flavor, looks like the chef forgot our food in the oven and did not put any spices... in overall a great place for a small snack and some wine.

Very elegant , high quality bistrot , with a cosy warm atmosphere and welcoming staff. The food is excellent , fresh and with top quality ingredients, and prices reasonable. The shop next door sells selected deli items and is a nice addition to the concept. Will definitely go again.

Just around the back of the building opposite the Limassol castle, is this wonderful and charming restaurant. Le Frenchie has an exquisite food and wine menu that satisfies all kinds of taste buds. The quality of the food and service are simply excellent! Fresh ingredients, good portions, all reasonably priced. The atmosphere is so relaxing despite being in the heart of the city. Overall, 5star experience!

I wanted to have the pizza with Raclette cheese and potatoes but they didn’t have the Raclette cheese anymore so I ordered the truffle pizza and it was really different from what I know truffle pizza to be. It was extremely cheese heavy. The salmon dish we ordered with the green mashed potato was good however.

This has to be one of the best French restaurants I've been to that does not give you "fine" dining portions. You get full blown meals at decent rates. It's recommended that you call ahead for reservations as it tends to get full otherwise. Escargots were lovely and ironically, the butter that comes with the free bread is heavenly - salted just right and delectable. Mushroom soup is my recommendation too. You can't really go wrong here.

We ordered the 3 course menu (price 25€) that included an appetiser, a main course and sweet. I was not excited with the sweets at all. I would prefer this offer to include a salad instead of a sweet. Appetiser and main course were tasty, but the main course was a little bit “heavy” for our stomachs… In my opinion, most of the plates are more appropriate for wintertime and not for the summertime. Maybe they could adjust their menu according to the current season…

Went for Valentines and it was incredibly disappointing. Raclette cheese with boiled potatoes, broccoli and some ham for starter was lacking in taste, poorly presented and the portion size could have been a main. The most disappointing however was the 36 euro rib eye which was the worst steak I ever had. Granted Cyprus is not the place for steaks, but this was truly awful. The steak was completely unseasoned, looked and tasted like a slab of boiled meat, chewy and loaded with tasteless boiled broccoli and overly oily fried potatoes. Weirdly, was accompanied by pretty much a full jar of strong French mustard put on the plate which I guess was served in the hope it would numb all senses. Service was bad for a restaurant charging these prices, not attentive and not even once were we asked how the food was and if everything was ok when plates were returned partly eaten. They could not care less. Champagne and coffee were good though, and the raspberry pana cotta was decent. Never coming back. Good luck

The location is center but quiet, staff are friendly and helpful. However, we couldn't think the food is that dissapointing based on the reviews and it's definitely pricy. We got the frog legs that's a bit plain as it comes with plain basmati. The seafood dish with Basque sausage is salty and also not a good mix in my opinion. Drinks option is much better though we went for lunch and had French juice instead of wine. The drinks, cheese cut, and imported French products I think are worth trying.

Expected much more, doesn't look 💯 Frenchie oriented. For appetizers we ordered tomato soup and onion soup. Both of them were tasty even thought the amount of cheese in the onion soup covered the rest of the flavor and it was sticky enough. For the main dishes we ordered salmon with puree and chicken curry with rice. Not thrilled with the flavors. The salmon was cold like it was in the fridge, not even slightly warm, puree was ok but not nicely seasoned. Chicken curry mostly were pieces with fat on it by making the food not tasty. The menu had very few options which some of them were not French cuisine. Overpriced for what they offer but the staff was kind. Average.

Fabulous food, very polite, professional and attentive waiters, beautifully decorated inside. I had a Brunch parisiene, with a cheese platter, omelette with herbs and side of salad, french croissant, fresh juice, wonderful coffee and a basket of freshly baked baguette and two servings of butter, all for 24 euros, absolutely worth it. Pasta with seafood was delicious and tomato soup creamy and rich in taste. Absolutely recommend it and will come again.
