Every time I come to Limassol the tavern of Trata is a must to visit !!! The best fish all time

Even with prior reservation we were initially offered a table outside the veranda next to stinky garbage dumpsters. Meze was incomplete (they ran out of certain fish on the menu) but the bill was for the full meze. Even after being confronted for it, instead of offering something complimentary or a discount, or even so much as an apology only excuses were made... Eventually a 5 % discount and a cyprus coffee was offered. We refused the coffee and refuse to ever come back. Do not recommend at all. At similar prices there are by far better places in town... Pixida for example!

Excellent Family-style taverna just off the bustling strip. Awesome service. Fish cooked to perfection. Sit inside or out. Closed Mondays otherwise open weekday evenings for dinner and Sunday for lunch. Great find!

I had my dinner at Trata on 26/09/2023. I called Trata restaurant before I booked, to ask for a specific dish if they can made it for me and they answered "yes" and I repeated my request at the table. When they serve me I told them that is not what I ordered and I questioned the reason why they told me that they could it. The servant stated that he does not know the reason why and that was his second job which I find it a ridiculous and unprofessional answer. The cook came and check on me from a distance, he never apologised or offered to make the dish he promised. I saw him laughing and making comments about me. When I paid the bill I noticed that they offered watermelon and sweets to all other customers except me. This is the worst experience that I had in Cyprus. I felt disgusted of how they treated me and that refused to acknowledged their fault.

Very good service. The waitress recommended us a fish that was delicious. Sea food (that fish and calamari) was very good and tasty as was the salad and tarama. The fries were from frozen. Only smoking area outside and no one cares if you mind someone smoking while you eat. The place looks clean, but a bit rundown. Prices are as some top joints, while the experience is mediocre.

very good mezze fish. probably not the cheapest in town but the quality/quantity/price ratio is very good. If you order other fish in the menu, being served can take a while but the food is worth while the wait

Excellent restaurant - owner/manager was extremely kind, polite and hospitable. Food was a plus - we got a grilled fish, prawn linguine and steamed mussels. All were delightfully fresh. If anyone is looking for Mediterranean seafood, this is the place to be. We went to somewhere else fancier earlier in the week, but it definitely didn't match up with trata.

Good food and nice staff. The maze was too much for us to handle but very fresh and authentic
