Amazing place to visit with many fascinating artefacts and insights into a nearby thriving and ancient town. What’s more it’s free to get in and is informative and well laid out. Worth a visit.

Super interesting museum with artifacts ranging from the Neolithic until the early Christian period. Staff was very nice, welcoming, and fluent in English for any tourists who do not speak Greek. Definitely worth a visit!

Super place with lots of interesting exhibits and clear explanations of what you’re looking at. Arrived at 8am when it opened and had the place to ourselves for our whole visit!

I don't get ppl who come only to lay lazy and take subaths. It's so interesting to look back at the ancient cultural background of Cyprus. The only thing missing is the earphones with the digital guide. The museum is quite small but charming let alone to say it's free of charge.

Would be churlish to complain given the place is free entry! Three to four rooms of archaeological finds, including a temporary exhibition on the history of Amathous

The museum covers finds from the surrounding area, but mainly the ancient city of Amathus

Its a good place if you are into such things. Museum is pretty small, not interactive whatsoever, but it’s also has a free entrance. We came here to wait until the rain ends, but it was quite nice experience. I think 30-60 mins for it is more than enough to cover everything

Modern urbanization of Limassol area digged up from a ground some historic artefacts and often fine art of ancient civilizations. This museum is free to visit, and still we were alone inside, enjoying without disturbing. For us, who like to imagine past life, this local museum is like a small nice gem.

Very impressive collection of pottery and interesting history of the island going back up to 11000 years ago.

A relatively small museum but contains interesting artifacts. A must visit when in Limassol.

Great museum, interesting. I can’t point out that there is an air conditioner inside the museum (huge and there are several of them), then that if you feel too hot, then go to the museum, tickets are cheap

This lovely museum is a journey through time. With artifacts and treasures it tells many of Cyprus' fascinating stories. The visit to the museum left me wanting to learn more. The staff are so welcoming and helpful. We had a wonderful visit.

Update: Still not open in weekends. Would be nice with a museum that is not closed on Saturday and Sunday. I seldom have time on weekdays, as I work. I don't think it's only me...

Interesting place to connect with the history of Cyprus, it takes you back in time with artifacts and explanations how the island evolved throughout the decades. Free entrance for students. Definitely recommend

Small museum, but rich in artefacts. There was a special exhibition about the ancient town of Amathus, the ruins of which are found near Limassol. The exhibition was very interesting, with many explanations in English and Greek language about the objects and about the history of the ancient Amathus.
