Came here because of the review rating and didn't disappoint. 6 wines tasting for 5€. All of them great. We bought a couple of bottles, one of them was second in the world in 2017 in is category. Great achievement for a Cyprus winery periodicity just 60000 bottles a year

A very friendly and informative tasting of wines produced by the winery. We were amazed especially by sweet ones. It's family run business, so everything was with personal touch. We enjoyed it a lot!

We visited the winery on 12/10/2023 and were lucky to be guided thru the wines (from preparation to sampling) by the owner. All four of us agreed that these wines were the most exceptional we had on our visit to Cyprus ( we purchased some to drink in Cyprus and some to take home) highly recommend a visit or at least try to buy/drink a bottle or two.

This is better than any other wine tour I been before. Owner himself told us his secret of how he made award winning dessert wine. Love the invention of Chilli Pepper Dessert Wine. It has that lasting effect.

Had A wine tasting session organised by Cyprus Taste Tours and we were shown around by the 85 year old owner who's still amazing passionate about his winery. He personally picked a bunch of the local grapes for each of us to taste before the tasting and explained clearly the processes involved in the production of the local wines. Needless to say we got a bottle of their Commandaria which has won a bunch of awards almost yearly. They have a whole wall of awards on display which speaks to the quality of their wine!

We stopped off at Ayia Mavri as it was recommended by our AirBnb host. We had a really lovely tour by the owner who was just fantastic. He even opened late for us as we came just before closing. We then tasted several different award winning wines which were all delicious. The tour and tasting was just €5 pp.

Very nice people and amazing wine. When you'll enter the tasting room, you'll see the walls are covered with prizes from wines taste competition this winery won. And the following experience matches the expectations. We liked every single wine we tried and ended up buying 10 bottles. The tasting itself was free and the owner gave us a taste of every brand we wanted. This winery is one of the best we've been to, 5 stars without a doubt!

Amazing small winery! Exceptional sweet wines and very good dry ones. Must visit if you are into wine and visiting Cyprus. The wine tasting and winery tour by the owner was a very special experience as well. Also check the distilling pot on the photo to get a sense of winery look and feel!

Ayia Marvi is not just a winery, it is an absolute must experience. The wines are just outstanding, an amazing and cozy atmosphere all around the winery, and they make you feel so special that you'll never want to leave. We were honoured to be hosted by Andreas and we came back there every single day of our stay at the village. Absolutely loved it!!!!!

This was our last stop on a wine tasting tour, and the best was well and truly saved for last. A wide range of wines, leisurely stroll through the property, friendly cat, and the best Comandier we had tasted! The best part was being able to learn about the history of this business and the passion the owners had for making great wine. The cherry on top would have been meeting the owners, I guess we will just have to come back for that!

Quite possibly, the greatest family run winery in Cyprus! Set in a stunning village location in the mountains, the scenery surrounding the winery sets the tone for what follows - stunning, breathtaking and utterly fabulous! A quick walk through of the cellars precedes the actual tasting which conducted in small groups. Of course, wine is subjective and whilst we did not like every wine we tasted, those that we did like were amazing and we bought bottles to take away and savour. The Comandaria is the stand out - with a history of over 5000 years this is a dessert wine with some serious pedigree. The family are gracious, humble and genuinely pleased that people are enjoying their wines - more power to them, they deserve it.

What a surprise this winery! The owner is adorable and showed and explained to us the whole process of wine making. The wines are delicious. I recommend it 100%, if not in your list, it should be 😊

A very lovely lady gave us an interesting tour then we bought some reasonably priced and delicious wine - what's not to like?! Everyone was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly throughout and I would recommend to any visitor to the area :)
