1 star is being generous. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. It’s like the Cecil hotel but with bed bugs, there are no lights, the staff are so slow and rude. There were cockroaches in our bathroom and bed bugs in our bed - it seems the only things that want to stay here are insects. Avoid at all costs

Worst experience EVER. First arrival and theres no receptionist,we go to our room the sheats and pillow covers arw filthy. Pool is dirty and this couple were staring at our familly a looong time. Top it all off at 4.30 in the morning the owner and the police were banging and showting threatning this woman in the hall for money. Woke my whole family up. My husband found a dog flea in our bed and all this happened in one day. They said they served amarican breakfast....it was cereal or bread with an egg. I mean i make more at home. Like dont advertise american breakfast with no bacon or even a juice. Staff arguing between them daily and private parking my a** they had no parking area just the street.will not go again

Full of cockroaches. Very tiny breakfast with instant coffee only. Rude staff. Very dusty. Plus you won't be provided with a shampoo. Photos are attached.

I felt like I was in a horror movie! This hotel is absolutely disgusting and the worst is the owner! He is a very rude old man with no respect at all. Staff is terrible, place is terrible. I wouldn’t even give it 1 star!!!!! DO NOT STAY THERE!

So you wanna stay in a haunted house for the hell of it, but there aren't any in the area? You're in luck! This hotel is worse than any haunted house you can possibly imagine! Do you wanna get yelled at for having the nerve to ask for a room that doesn't have bugs in it? You're in the right place! Do you wanna to swim in a green, dirty pool? Sylva has you covered! Enjoy live shows every morning, consisting of the owners yelling at some poor customer for whatever reason. They have 24 hour buffets open, right in your room. Though they aren't for you, rather for the bugs you'll be sharing a room with. But in all seriousness, avoid this hotel at all costs. Me and my sister had the hotel booked for 7 nights, but left during the third one to find another hotel. We couldn't bear the dirty rooms, bugs and unpleasant staff. After the first night we asked them to solve the bug problem, and they didn't. Went back to complain the next morning and were handed an empty bottle of bug spray to take care of the issue ourselves. Day after that, I had a massive fight with one of the owners when we asked the remaining 4 nights to be refunded. Eventually we did get our money back for the 4 nights, but for some reason I had to prove that I had booked a different hotel to stay in? The only positive thing about this place is the location. You won't find another hotel in that area, unless you're looking to spend a lot more. But really, I'd much rather drive for 20 minutes to get to the beach than stay there. Oh, and there was ONE nice staff member. An Asian lady, who is overworked and underpaid. Bless her, she really was nice and deserves better than to work in a place like this. Will not be coming back. I'd rather find a comfy pile of dirt and sleep there.

amazing hotel with great selection of English breakfast. Mr Petros the manager did an exceptional job of checking us in and out in no time! His also a great artist so make sure to ask him to show you his work. Rooms are clean and spacious, well. equipped and warm during the winter.

A real shame, cos this place has potential. Everything's old, broken, dirty, full of dust or limescale. No hot water at night and the swimming pool is currently empty.

Stayed here for one night passing through Limassol. Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly gentleman who kindly checked us in. We booked as a last minute thing and wasn't looking for something that would break the bank. For a 2 star rated hotel, it was outdated but very clean. Our room on the forth floor was spacious, clean and had air-conditioning. We were pleasantly surprised and did exactly what we needed it to (a place to put our head). The bathroom was a little creepy with a roach trap behind the toilet but for what we paid and the ratings which are clearly stated, what do you expect. Breakfast was included and I thought the garden area was a beautiful and kept clean by the workers. I could not fault our stay, thank you

Super dirty and old, everything is half broken and lots of dirt and other people's clothes under beds, AC makes the balcony a swimming pool, no chair to sit on balcony, no socket near the bed, all dirty and mismatched and very fat and unhealthy breakfast.

DANGER! Horrifying! The hotel is nasty, completely. It is a nest of beg bugs, suspicious stains on the wall and all around the floor… disgusting place. My worst experience ever!

Have just spent a few weeks there. Not the greatest or the worst experience. Yes, it is old; yes, it is dirty; yes, you may very well find roaches in the toilet; yes, there is no WiFi but in the lobby. The asian do-it-all girl is a cutie.

Nice oldschool hotel with colourful rooms, good view on the mountains. The best pool table ever! Has character, not so new, white and ugly as other hotels :)

TI have stayed here about 4 or 5 times over the last couple of years or so. It is not "the normal hotel experience" as it offers room, pool & breakfast only. No bar no restaurant nor room service. That said, the staff are very friendly, helpful and very accommodating.. there is never an issue with getting takeaway delivered for example or taking drinks to your room or whatever. There are seriously more than sufficient restaurants, bars and convenience stores close by to minimise the possible inconvenience here. Rooms are comparatively inexpensive, and usually there is availability even last minute.

Comfortable rooms with air con, friendly and prompt service, a two-minute walk to the beach and a simple but filling breakfast, which is included in the price. The ideal hotel if you're staying in Limassol on a budget.
