It was unbelievable bad experience. We found only one man at the reception, called Igor, who was really kind and welcoming. All people who work at the reception are rude, especially Katerina. Very-very disappointed and would never recommend this place because of this behavior. Beach is unbelievable dirty, pool as well. Seems they don’t clean it for days. You’ll find plastic cups around and inside the pool for days. And this is 5 stars hotel… Pool closing at 19:00. Breakfast was very good, especially life music.

I can't believe this is a 5* hotel. The family room was so tiny, I was shocked (they didn't care when i asked for a different room without the hideous bunkbeds). They do not offer a hospitality room when you check out but have a late flight, you're told to use the nasty gym facilities. There is nothing around the hotel, you are trapped there unless you get cabs everywhere. It took 45mins for my kids cheese toasties to arrive, appalling service. Hated lunch times there but had no choice because we wanted to be on the beach. They do not cater for customers, if its not written down then it can't be done. It's a whole ordeal. Not much choice for vegans/vegetarians/pescatarians. Had a surprise birthday cake left in my room from the hotel with a half used candle. Made the most of our stay but I couldn't wait to leave. Will never return. Looks pretty, that's it- no vibe or energy. Dead atmosphere. I do not use my real name on the Internet but I assure you I was there this summer. There is nothing you can do for me now so you don't need to contact me.

I can only recommend the hotel! The staff is always trying to help. Especially in my case where I would like to highlight two employees (Head Waiter Pavlin Pavlov and Manuel) who spent over an hour with me looking for my key. Other employees were also involved. Thank you so much again everyone! Apart from the very nice staff, the breakfast buffet was more than adequate! You can't even taste that much! Nobody will leave the breakfast room hungry. One thing is certain: I will be back! Super beach where the service works very well! Μέχρι τον επόμενο χρόνο! Ευχαριστώ για την υπέροχη διαμονή! Αντίο Michaela S

We’ve had such a lovely stay at the GrandResort. From the private beach and beautiful pool, to the impressive breakfast and the kind staff, we’ve been delighted throughout. The only small thing is that the cocktail bar and main lobby are really in need of refurbishment (they feel pretty 80’s) and brings down the ambience somewhat. Would definitely recommend though to couples or families.

When we arrived, we noticed one of the nightstands and the desk were covered in ants. When the bell man came with our luggage, we asked that he let the front desk know and he assured housekeeping would be up shortly to resolve the issue. Housekeeping never came. The next morning, we brought the issue up again with the front desk, who assured us they would resolve it right away. We went to the pool and returned in the late afternoon to find housekeeping had still not been to our room. Finally by evening they wiped down the ant covered surfaces. The next day, the ants returned. They had made their way into our luggage. When we brought this up to the front desk, they accused us of bringing food into the room, implying it was our fault because of food - we did not eat in our room once. We left the hotel with ant filled bags and were not offered any resolution or reimbursement. For a "5-star" hotel, we were very disappointed with their lack of attention to this bug issue. We spent the weekend with friends, who we found also experienced ants in their room. It is clearly a widespread issue they need to resolve if they will continue to claim to provide a luxury experience.

We booked a sea view room. We obtained a room with a view on the car park ... employee explains that the window is on the side of the sea, but it does not mean you will see it. I can only recommend not paying an additional price for a sea view in this case . In general, employees are not friendly nor smiling and deliver poor service . It is even difficult to stop somebody to have a coffee in the morning . The hotel itself is OK but a bit old . The door is difficult to open and strangely the room service is coming between 5.30 and 6.00 pm to clean the room . It's usually the hour to come back from the beach to take a shower. It is not so convenient . The beach is small . There are no activities proposed by the hotel ( even not a paddle or something like that ). You need to pay additional fees to rent it in front of the hotel The general experience is average

Very nice experience at a very good price point. Rooms are big and renovated, people at reception and entrance are very friendly, great breakfast. The pool is nice but the highlight is the beach, big, well taken care of, with a very transparent sea and quite shallow. Only issue in my opinion the price and quality of the food by the pool is suboptimal, and interestingly enough the service in that area of the hotel is much less friendly than in the entrance. Hotel location is just outside of the highway, it does not take much to reach the city or other parts of the island .

We stayed at the executive suite which was very nice decorated and spacious but the bathroom and shower were very small. The worst problem was the air conditioning that wasn’t working at night so we had to open the balcony door and it wasn’t very comfortable. You wouldn’t expect a 5 star hotel to act like this !! Service was fine and also breakfast. They spoiled us with champagne, fruit and pinchos in the room almost everyday, which was very nice. Also, they have a Japanese restaurant Kyoshi which we really enjoyed in the evening but their other evening buffet restaurant Salaminia was not to our taste. We ordered a salad and returned it but they charged us anyway

The hotel is great, the staff is great, but the service from the hotel and the entertainment has deteriorated a lot. No more evening shows, no more water sports, I was very disappointed because then it got boring after a few days. We are the 4. time in this Hotel. The last Time in the end of Mai for 10 Days

Came on vacation with my family and this definitely does not feel like anything close to 5 stars. 4 stars max! Nothing felt premium at all, very outdated. The whole thing feels like it’s from the mid to late 90s early 2000s, even the magazine’s they provide to you at the lobby were from the 90s and I’m not even joking. Awful service, bad hygiene, rude staff such as this one guy that came to our room to deliver our pizza which was literally just cheese with no tomato sauce and he had awful disgusting attitude. He was a tall guy with brown hair and blue eyes who seemed like he hated us for some reason and didn’t want to serve us, if anyone can provide his name please do! I did not enjoy my experience. If you want to spend time in Limassol you are better off by going to the much more modern, luxurious and beautiful Amara Hotel nearby which bear in mind is the same price as Grand Resort. Lastly you cant understand anything when you wanna call room service, non of the staff can talk properly for some reason. Oh and one more thing, the sound proofing in the rooms are awful, you can literally hear everything going on everywhere like stupid crying kids that wake you up and some screeching violin player at the lobby. And you have sleepless nights hearing horrendous music outside at night because the sound proofing is awful. Sorry but the horrendous service, rude staff and outdated building really let down the experience even more! This is the least luxurious “luxury hotel” lmao. What a let down!

Cosy hotel with super friendly and ready to help staff. The hotel is situated in a quiet neighborhood. Limassol center is easily accessible by car, taxi or bus 30. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Rooms and all internal decor were very stylish and solid.

  • 1/5 Sobolev D. 11 months ago on Google
Absolute disrespect for the local community. At 10pm they had a fireworks that rattled like artillery for about 10 minutes for the entire neighborhood. Small children and pets all over the neighborhood were really frightened.

Great hotel with awesome service and location. Very comfortable beach chairs and towels. Food in the two pool restaurants is not that good unfortunately but breakfast is very good. All in all, recommend.

Very good service and staff! Great breakfast! Nice room, very nice outdoor pool and beach! Indoor pool small and not hitted, not suitable for kids. Jacuzzi is good. Location is outside Limassol, not close to other attraction. Restaurants outside are good, grocery shops and pharmacy nearby. Excellent choice for a vacation!

Stayed here for 3 nights, when I arrived the hotel didn't seem to have my booking, once the booking was sorted I was just pointed towards the lifts with no explanation of any service or when / where breakfast would be served. The food at breakfast was okay but I've had better from lower started hotels, also the service from the breakfast staff was very hit and miss, waited over 30 mins for a coffee. On checkout the tried to give me a bill to pay for the hotel room, I think it was due to the issues on check in. You will need transport, it's not close to Limassol and would take around 1 hour walking.

Meh, 200 a night for old fashioned rooms Low quality bed. 2 singles pushed together with a mattress topper. Uncomfortable. Old carpets, old curtain in room. Food prices very expensive. Breakfast, sometimes offered coffee sometimes not. No loukaniko? Its cyprus. 4 euro for a 250ml coke. Avearge in cyprus is 1.5 euro. Its in the middle of nowhere so need car. Pool actually not great. It gets deep quickly so only 1/3 is usuable to relax in which fills with children. Stayed in better for cheaper. Definitely not a 5 star for over room. Lots of towels stained. We paid to upgrade from nyx limassol (which was totally missold). Should've been free considering we were missold. This hotel also nothing like the pictures. We received an old fashioned room.

We came as visitors to the hotel in order to sit at the beach. One guy came with a really bad attitude. Asked us if we are staying at the hotel and I replied politely no we are as visitors. Then he told me with angry face pick up your stuff and go away. Then I said with really nice way we can pay for the bed if that is the issue. No the beach is to the hotel and you need to go away. Just to let you know the beach is public and your stuff need to have nice attitude with respect and not think that the public beach belongs to the hotel! Even the 1 star with these stuff is enough!

We had an amazing holiday. The hotel is a bit isolated in terms of amenities but has amazing restaurants on site. The staff could not be more accommodating! Especially Nelio who greeted us with the most beautiful smile and helpful attitude and would literally do anything for you and that was just as we came into the lobby every time! Then there was Alex, pool bar manager and Jakob! Everyone was so so kind. It literally was a five star hotel (although the superior room with sea view was small but immaculate but ours was on the fourth floor so the balcony was not my favourite place due for the sheer height. Also the breakfast service is started with a live musician playing the flute, sax or even the violin! (Breakfast is served from 7:30! And as beautiful as his music was, I am not ready for that in the morning lol 😂! Can’t wait to return after their renovations!

Excellent hotel location, private beach. Very clean hotel. vip service We received a personal tour of all the hotel facilities. An excellent spa, it is recommended to have a treatment during your stay. We enjoyed every minute. The hotel offers a variety of restaurants and meals. Highly recommended . Suitable for families.

Lovely hotel situated in a quiet area on the outskirts of Limassol. There was a slight mix up with our room on arrival but we were put in two great sea view rooms before being transferred to our family suite the next day. The breakfasts are excellent and the Aloha pool bar is a great place to have a few drinks of an evening. Never an issue getting a sunbed, options around the pool, in the shade of the trees or on the private beach. My only negative comment would be the drinks are a bit pricey.

  • 5/5 Mozzeh 8 months ago on Google
Wow is all I can say, this place caters for everything, nothing is too much trouble. A private beach, a man brings you drinks, everyone is so friendly to us English which they class as family. Rooms are fantastic and very clean and all the soap, shampoo etc you could ask for there is nothing you need to bring. I would return here in a heart beat, absolutely fantastic. Luxury, relaxing, cocktails, that is a holiday ♥️ Yiota Georgiou, thank you for sorting me some flowers. You are a true gem and a credit to guest service's. Glenn Morris.

"GrandResort by Leonardo Hotels exceeded all expectations! The location is breathtaking, right on the beach with stunning views. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The amenities, from the pools to the spa, were top-notch. Dining options were diverse and delicious. Highly recommended for a luxurious and memorable getaway!"

Distanced from Limassol, overall a bit too old. Cool guy at reception who offered us dinner instead late breakfast on arrival since room been ready only at 17:00. Finally got charged dinner fully + drinks twice. The people are not fair on their attitude, talks and tourism manners. I highly recommend another place. Dark Sand + too Windy at all.

  • 2/5 Eduard T. 8 months ago on Google
Hotel is decent, nothing special or extravagant. Typical "5*" hotel that you will never ever visit again. Staff is trying to be polite but they just give you answers you want to hear, but are doing nothing to aid you. Breakfast was good. Pool is way smaller then advertised. Reception is a main minus for this hotel. You have to dobel and triple check before anyone give you some help. Room service is fine, just you have to wait for hours. It seemed more like a lack of staff then bad service. Not recommending.

My girlfriend & I were on vacation, I also proposed to her. The staff was very kind even before the offer came up in the conversation. Everything was natural, pleasant, kind and professional. We felt loved and felt like home within one day. It started with the beautiful and bright face of his charming Nelio who also brought us champagne and accompanied us until we received the room and throughout the vacation. Thanks to the lovely staff at the reception, Igor, Katrina, Kriakos, Yoda and more.. To the restaurant staff Vassili and Thomas. We will definitely be back! We recommend and send you all great love. 😊👏🏻❤️

First class in all services, everything you can expect from a 5 stars resort. It's not close to the Limmasol, it's about 40 minutes trip by a bumpy bus. Perfect to enjoy a luxury beach vacation.

The hotel looks good, the staff is very warm and friendly. The beds were extra comfortable, and the room was clean, the furniture was not very neat , the food very good, and the cleaning service immaculateThe only unsatisfied thing was that I took a room with a full sea view, and I received one on the side of the hotel, where you could not see the sea unless you lean to the right of the balcony. We tried to change the room, but it was not possible in the conditions when the hotel was not at full capacity. And to be able to receive an answer sooner, not to wait long because we didn't want to ruin the room in which we were already accommodated, we insisted until he gave us a definite answer, so we stayed there. Overall it was OK!

2019 -Nice atmosphere, clean with a nice pool and spa. On the beach with private sunbeds. Great food. Location is quite with a frequent bus into town. Fab entertainment especially the illusions from the magician Paul. Only problem is that the hotel provides membership to locals to use the facilities so can get really busy at weekends and holidays.

More like a glorified 4* rather than a 5* hotel. Definitely overpriced and outdated! On the contrary, the overwhelming efforts of the staff hugely contributed to a very pleasant 1-night stay; kids had a blast! Rooms are quite spacious, common areas are clean and the food is surprisingly good - kudos to the Aloha restaurant serving delicious food at reasonable prices. Concluding, I feel that once renovated, and it freshens up, the hotel will be right back on track to support its 5* status.

This hotel is beautiful and very clean . But my favourite part of it was Kids Animation Team . My little daughter had a great time dancing by the pool, playing in activity room fully equipped with games and toys! I could easily relax while she was playing. Big “thank you “ to Animation girls team ! Great job !!! Adrianna

Brilliant, the breakfast was excellent. The kindness of the hotel personnel was phenomenal. I stayed there last year for 8days, enjoyed the hotel beach, nice palm trees, the pool and I absolutely recommend this place to anybody who wants to go to Cyprus. Definitely want to come back one day.

  • 1/5 Martin B. 1 year ago on Google
The hotel as such is old and not up to date anymore: bathrooms are at least 20 years old with little done in the meantime, the windows don‘t close properly. The personnel is not able to provide the least customer service: Please be aware that any time any hotel next door can do an outdoor concert until after midnight in a volume that no child can sleep (out‘s were waking up even!!) The personnel of the hotel argues: we cannot do anything about it, it‘s from another hotel…. Asking for a refund for that night resulted in no commitment, not even from the manager on duty: customer service at its worst!!! … So if you want calm nights and make sure your child can sleep, don‘t stay in this definitely not so grand resort! There are much better ones!

We went back to Cyprus to celebrate our First wedding anniversary as we got married there on the beach last year. The Grand Resort was a great place to stay and the staff was tremendous. The surprise for my wife on our wedding day has been complemented by the hotel and my wife was overwhelmed. The hotel is only 20 minutes from Limassol city center by Taxi but be aware of massive traffic jams in the evening Hours, better go in the morning and come back before 6pm. Overall a nice holiday.

  • 4/5 Yuval K. 1 year ago on Google
The best part of the hotel is the big pool and beach with beds and umbrellas. The rooms are very simple yet large and the breakfast is medium. It's very far from the old city where all the great taverns and bars are. The service is ok and they have a nice piano bar and shusi place and very good spa.

  • 2/5 Alp E. 1 year ago on Google
What a disappointment. You pay a lot of money to a five star hotel. However, 10 in the morning the hotel tells you they don’t have any towels for the pool and we have to wait 30 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous.

  • 4/5 lucy h. 1 year ago on Google
Really enjoyed our recent stay. The hotel is set out lovely with great decor and layout. The only negative I have is that there isn't much in the local vicinity and the nearest town is a 30 minute bus ride away. This is ok as the bus stop is literally outside of the hotel but there isn't much walkable

  • 1/5 Wassim B. 1 year ago on Google
Very old hotel - the service is fine, but feels extremely outdated. The key cards keep getting stuck. Minibar is not complementary. I don't believe I will ever return there

  • 2/5 Kell B. 11 months ago on Google
In this 'luxury hotel' as a guest on vacation we didn't find any of the luxurious experience we thought we were gonna have. The entire hotel is overrun by people in suits attending a conference the hotel rather hosts. The parking lot is a congested mess, restaurants are fully closed because they are fully booked for the multiday conference. Personel seems to be left completely in the dark as they don't know when and what is available. A five-star luxury resort should provide a luxurious feel. This hasn't been the case, so far as it's been a scavenging hunt for food every evening as you find out last minute the hotel restaurants are closed however the staff explicitly told us they were open. At that time all surrounding places were fully booked. Then when you think you can enjoy a goodnight sleep you are kept awake by 68db produced by a strangled cat... I mean, out of tune cover band and massive fireworks so bad it that would sent anyone with PTSD directly back to their nightmare. The irony is that a lot of the nuisance could have been spared if we, aswell as the staff, were properly informed. I therefor cannot recommend this hotel if you are on a vacation trying to recover from a year of hard work. We booked this place because we had a very very hard year and if they would have mentioned this bullocks conference I'd gladly resorted to another 5* hotel.

  • 4/5 Alexander P. 2 years ago on Google
Everything very good but one BIG MISTAKE: They allow reservations of the sun beds. That means that you cannot find a place even though the half of the places are just occupied with towels. It’s time they forbid that, like they do in more modern and more luxurious places. We could not be at the beach because everything was occupied all the time. So sad for the kids!!!
