Staying
in
Lofou
village
was
a
good
decision
as
it
is
15-25
minutes
from
everywhere
in
Troodos
ie
Mount
Olympos.
If
for
whatever
reason
you
have
to
go
to
a
city,
Limassol
is
only
about
30
mins
away.
Since
we
had
a
car,
this
was
not
a
problem
at
all.
Finding
the
hotel
was
easy
due
to
the
signage’s
along
the
way.
Park
at
the
small
parking
area
about
30
metres
from
the
hotel.
If
you
have
big
luggages,
please
know
that
no
one
from
the
hotel
will
be
available
to
assist
so
you
have
to
lug
them
yourselves
in
the
cobblestone
streets.
Checkin
time
is
at
5.30pm
the
latest
so
best
to
confirm
your
arrival
time
with
the
hotel
prior
to
your
arrival
date.
The
reception
is
not
24
hours.
They
leave
at
around
6pm.
But
there’s
a
number
that
you
can
call
if
there’s
any
emergencies
with
the
room
etc.
The
breakfast
is
in
the
form
of
a
basket
filled
with
eggs,
cucumbers,
tomatoes,
butter,
honey,
jam,
sliced
pork
meat
(you
can
ask
for
chicken,
turkey
or
beef),
bread,
haloumi
cheese,
and
milk
-
see
photo.
We
also
got
some
yoghurt
and
juice.
Our
room
came
with
a
fully
equipped
kitchen
so
we
made
breakfast
daily
from
the
items
in
the
basket
which
gets
replenished
daily.
Theres
also
a
Nespresso
coffee
and
machine
in
the
room.
Also,
You
can
drink
straight
from
the
tap
through
the
filter
switch.
Our
room
also
came
with
a
fireplace
and
we
bought
firewood
at
€13/15kg
bag
from
the
staff.
On
the
2nd
night,
we
had
a
fire
going
but
then
the
entire
room
was
filled
with
smoke
and
all
of
our
clothes
and
everything
in
the
room
smelt
like
smoke
for
the
rest
of
our
trip
in
Cyprus.
So
best
to
check
whether
the
ventilation
is
good
before
you
light
up.
Please
note
that
all
restaurants
in
the
village
are
closed
on
every
Monday
so
you
will
have
to
go
to
nearby
villages
to
search
for
food.
The
staff
are
all
great
and
friendly.
The
room,
hotel
and
surroundings
are
very
clean.
Just
one
thing
that
annoyed
us
is
that
the
flooring
between
floors
is
not
great.
Our
room
was
on
the
ground
floor.
Loud
footsteps
and
conversation
kept
us
awake
at
night.
Out
of
the
3
nights
we
stayed,
we
only
had
1
quiet
night
when
there
was
no
guests
upstairs.
Maybe
request
for
a
1st
floor
room
if
you
want
to
book.
