We were welcomed by the host with a great smile and a housewarming approach. The selection of our room was palati, a two-floor room with fireplace, kitchen (all kitchenware included), a nice saloon and a relatively small tv on the ground floor and the bedroom and a shower on the second floor. Very clean, tidy and fully equipped. We were offered two small wines and breakfasts materials for the next day (milk, bread, tomatoes cucumbers eggs halloumi sausages and lountza). Also if you want to cook all the basic materials such as salt pepper and olive oil are provided. Things that can be improved are: - get a chefs knife for each room (would be really helpful for the cooking) - reduce just a bit the prices Overall a great and relaxing experience would recommend it 100% :)

I don’t like writing bad reviews but this was so disappointing and made our start to our holiday in Cyprus really uncomfortable. The photos of this place are very deceiving and I don’t know how they have such a high rating. I found the room/space uninhabitable. The spiral staircase to get up to the bed and bathroom was dangerous, narrow and an incredibly bad design. I don’t know how older people or people with mobility issues would manage it. We had to keep our suitcases downstairs as there was no way they could be carried up it, not that the manager offered to help. This meant we had to carry toiletries etc upstairs while holding onto the rail for dear life. The bathroom was situated at the top of the stairs so if you took a wrong step at night you would probably end up falling down the stairs. The shower was tiny, barely enough room to move around. The bed wasn’t even big enough for two. We couldn’t wait to leave after two nights.

Absolutely adorable cottages in a quaint village! Get the suite with the jacuzzi!! Big carpark on on you left just before the sign for the hotel (you walk into a little alley then go right).

We loved staying at Oinoessa- we had a ground level room with courtyard, which was great for late evening chats enjoying local wine. The room was very spacious, however the bed could have been a bit bigger. I wished for more hanging hooks around the bathroom and room itself. Jacuzzi needed some fixing up... The service was careful yet invisible and unintrusive. Our room was kept pristine. I liked the concept of a "cook yourself" breakfast and was happy to see a proper Nespresso machine. I wish more cold drinks were offered to the guests. The price we've paid for our stay was just right considering the value of what we've got. Walking around Loufou was a rather interesting experience. We made friends with some locals who were extremely open and friendly.

Lovely place in a picturesque, unique and slow pace village, which feels like has been stopped in time. Great place to wander around and have dinner in a family run local tavern (keep in mind it’s closed on Monday). We came back after 5yrs to the same place / same hotel, funny enough even got the same room! We do like the place a lot, great space, nicely designed and well kept up. Next time will book a room with courtyard as it seems to have nicer atmosphere to sit around. Hard to see from booking which type to choose/book to get that type (not very clear on website). The only improvement we would see is a nice simple breakfast in a lovely courtyard instead of eating it in a living room, we didn’t mind the idea of making it ourselves from the ingredients provided… overall great experience

Staying in Lofou village was a good decision as it is 15-25 minutes from everywhere in Troodos ie Mount Olympos. If for whatever reason you have to go to a city, Limassol is only about 30 mins away. Since we had a car, this was not a problem at all. Finding the hotel was easy due to the signage’s along the way. Park at the small parking area about 30 metres from the hotel. If you have big luggages, please know that no one from the hotel will be available to assist so you have to lug them yourselves in the cobblestone streets. Checkin time is at 5.30pm the latest so best to confirm your arrival time with the hotel prior to your arrival date. The reception is not 24 hours. They leave at around 6pm. But there’s a number that you can call if there’s any emergencies with the room etc. The breakfast is in the form of a basket filled with eggs, cucumbers, tomatoes, butter, honey, jam, sliced pork meat (you can ask for chicken, turkey or beef), bread, haloumi cheese, and milk - see photo. We also got some yoghurt and juice. Our room came with a fully equipped kitchen so we made breakfast daily from the items in the basket which gets replenished daily. Theres also a Nespresso coffee and machine in the room. Also, You can drink straight from the tap through the filter switch. Our room also came with a fireplace and we bought firewood at €13/15kg bag from the staff. On the 2nd night, we had a fire going but then the entire room was filled with smoke and all of our clothes and everything in the room smelt like smoke for the rest of our trip in Cyprus. So best to check whether the ventilation is good before you light up. Please note that all restaurants in the village are closed on every Monday so you will have to go to nearby villages to search for food. The staff are all great and friendly. The room, hotel and surroundings are very clean. Just one thing that annoyed us is that the flooring between floors is not great. Our room was on the ground floor. Loud footsteps and conversation kept us awake at night. Out of the 3 nights we stayed, we only had 1 quiet night when there was no guests upstairs. Maybe request for a 1st floor room if you want to book.

This is an amazing option for a relaxing weekend in this beautiful village. The room was very clean, just like in the pictures. We Loved the fireplace and the breakfast was great! We were offered a basket of cheese, Lountza, eggs, fruits... and we made our own breakfast in the fully equipped kitchen in the room. The walk is gorgeous, the restaurants near the place were delicious and traditional. Would definitely recommend and come back!

A nice boutique hotel in a beautiful part of the island. Room decor could be a bit more "Cypriot", in line with the theme of the area. Breakfast is DIY at best.

Gorgeous accommodation but there are very few amenities in the village. We were there on a Monday and no tavernas were open.

We stayed at Anogio house. All are amazing renovated traditional houses made out of stone and wood! Nice traditional furniture and a bed like it used to be in Cyprus in the early 70's. If you want to experience how the Cyprus rich houses were, this is one of the best places to stay. There are various choices of rooms when you book and many of them have jacuzzi. The staff is really friendly and you make your own breakfast in the house as they provide you with everything for you to prepare it. There is also a fridge, oven and all the other necessary electrical devices for you to prepare food and beverages if you want. Strongly recommended and affordable price compared to other lookalike type of vacations.

We felt so lucky staying at Oinoessa. beautifull design , quality furniture, very good mattress, fireplace , getting the rich 'cook your own breakfast' basket is a different experience ( my husband loved it ) great view from our window ( we stayed at the THEA unit ) we waited all day to go back "home" - as the kids called it , and defreeze in the jacuzy - all 4 of us. - already waiting for next winter ! ( 3 nights, february 2019 )
