This must range among my favorite hotels in the world. A collection of renovated houses and rooms, often overlooking the valley and village. The entire space feels welcoming and open, the rooms are well laid out and cozy. There is a spa, a pool, various terraces and a secret garden. However, two things really set this place apart: the staff, that’s welcoming, friendly and make you feel like home. And then there’s THE FOOD. Homemade, flavorful, local and just so so delicious. Out of this world. We enjoyed every moment of our stay here - thank you to the wonderful team and chef! My son is still talking about your walnut cake.

A wonderful stay in mid April 2022! The setting is simply stunning and the accommodation maximises the feeling of a traditional Cypriot experience albeit in a luxurious way

Stayed here for a couple of nights, we loved the rustic charm of the place, lovely bedroom over the pool, evening meals were delicious and good value, only downside is breakfast, eggs and bacon were cooked at 7.30 and left on a platter to go cold and gives flies an early feast, that said, if you ask them to make fresh scrambled eggs or omelette, they willingly do so, overall a lovely hotel in a quiet but lovely village

An amazing B&B. Quite, relaxed and yet stylish. The rooms are rather big, comfortable and incredibly beautiful. The staff is hospitable. Dinner is cooked by Eleftheria, who is very talented. It is highly recommended. One of the guests wrote in the guest book: food was divine. He is probably right. Take your time, relax, enjoy. If you like walking I recommend the short Lofou nature walk, especially during spring, because of the flora.

Superbly renovated and decorated in a way that blends beautifully with the rest of the structures in the village. Room was adequately-sized but I'm not convinced about value for money. Some of the electrics need sorting out It'd also be good if the a/c control panel was reset after each guest's visit. People playing about with the timer leave the panel in a mess. You would expect an espresso machine to be in a room with such a price. They are not that expensive nowadays. Black out curtains were not available, something which can be a huge issue for some of us. Breakfast was very good.

In the heart of the beautiful Lofou village you’ll find this stunning hotel. The atmosphere here is so special and relaxing. Perfect place for getaway, stop for a moment the everyday life and enjoy. Breakfast was delicious with local ingredients. they have swimming pool as well as small rooftop when you can see the village.

Beautiful and cozy boutique hotel in the village of Lofou. The design and architectural style of the place preserves in an elegant and at the same time modern way the traditional Cyprus village spirit. The staff is very limited and you can tell the owner cuts costs here as it’s always the same personnel doing multiple different jobs (like cooking, cleaning the pool, serving the spa, taking new guests at the reception). They are always polite and make you feel at home though. Christos and the cook, Elephtheria, made our stay extra special. Her homemade food is excellent and she adapted the menu to our needs. This is quite unique and we are thankful for that. The hotel is in perfect condition, clean and well maintained. The spa is very good as well, hot sauna and steam, perfect to warm up in a cold night.

Had a wonderful time here. The house was amazing and very spacious. Beautiful ❤️. For the money you pay I would have expected a little more to be honest. Maybe some wood for the fireplace instead of having to pay alot extra. Two hobs in the kitchen didn't work as no gas. I was cooking for 6 which made it a little difficult. I did ask but they said no gas 🤦🏻‍♀️ However we managed so all good. A full length mirror in the bathroom would of been nice but I stood on chair so again...all good. Breakfast there was a small selection for vegetarians. No oat or soya milk on hand and yogurt and cheese were not vegetarian either. They did tell us on the second day they did omelette on request but no sign anywhere to suggest this. We had a Vege omelette and it was lovely. Tomato and fresh fruit were lovely and a nice selection of bread which could be toasted. Yum. There was cake but I didnt try ..it looked lovely. Great coffee too. My friend had a latte and said it was amazing. Kitchen staff lovely and very hard working. Thank you. Rooms lovely. pillows and duvet lush and I slept like a log..perfect. Would definitely go back. Many thanks 🙏🏼

We stayed in the walnut room. What a romantic atmosphere! We loved the furniture choice and the public area. We asked for a meze dinner and the food was amazing. An intimate spa with a sauna and steam room in the basement. Great choice for breakfast: local food is served and omelette or scrambled eggs can be ordered. Highly recommended!

In general the room was cozy and in a good condition. Although there were some tiny insects in the bathroom, in the room and tap. They are harmless but come one who wants them... The breakfast wasn't something special regarding how much you pay for the night. Yogurt with fruits and marmalades (the one from berries of this village was amazing),one small plate with cheese and rosto-salami and eggs if you want too. I was expecting more. Sauna and steam bath was the literally splendid. Because isn't so spacious just have in your mind to book your session (1h max they said). Bottom line: overpriced

Most beautiful retreat in the mountains of Cyprus. Classic decor and food but executed well with a contemporary twist.

Beautiful hotel were the architecture of old traditional houses is well preserved and restored with great taste. Some technical problems probably due to lack of staff : the chimney in our appartment was smoking so much that is was unbearable and we had to keep all the windows open in the cold weather of end of december !!! It really spoiled our evenings that were supposed to be relaxing around the fire...The restaurant is cozy and nicely decored. But in a hotel of this standard one would expect some kind of gastronomic and creative food. Instead of that , the breakfast was really mediocre and the dinner was not different as what you get in a low class taverna : quantity but no quality... very deceiving !

This is the perfect place to relax and to charge energy! The whole team of the Apokryfo Hotel is very caring and fulfils you every wish and whim. The dinner is so delicious and multifarious, we got a great impression of the typical cypriot kitchen, especially at Easter with all the delights and treats! We were so well looked after and can‘t wait to come back soon. We thank the whole team once again and send you best wishes from Hambrug.

My room had no privacy at all. At the night around 20:00, I left from the hotel to eat at a restaurant and when returned back at 22:30 the reception door was closed. I was trying to find a way in to the hotel. No ons from the hotel has informed me that they are closing the entrance door around 22:00. Overpriced for what it actually offers.

The whole complex is extremely well thought out and designed. The furnishings are a great mix of old and modern. The setting is beautiful and rooms comfortable! It’s probably one of the best experiences we’ve had. Highly recommend!

our stay at Apokryfo has been amazing! The place is just so beautiful, and the staff so welcoming. During our holiday on Cyprus this was the best food we tasted by far, accompanied by a superb wine selection. The owner was even helping out with some baby-sitting during dinner :) We wished we could have stayed longer and are already planning our next visit. One note: be careful of following google maps through the village

I loved my stay in the hotel. The town is small and very charming. Breakfast was really good and I had dinner there once and it was amazing. Not very close to the beaches, but perfect if you want to be in a tranquil traditional town.

🫤 Nice family run business, but... When we arrived noone could find our reservation. They offered us another room at a discount, that was less nice than the one we booked in the first place and more expensive since it was way too big for two people. Worst, we figured out that our room was on top of a...
