Whilst
on
holiday
this
year
in
September
2015,
I
slipped
on
the
floor
of
our
hotel
room,
with
my
head
hitting
the
bathroom
door
post.
It
knocked
me
out
and
my
wife
had
to
call
the
Hotel
night
porter
(Park
Beach
Hotel
Limassol).
This
was
at
5am
in
the
morning.
Eventually
I
was
ambulanced
to
the
above
hospital,
and
although
I
remember
nothing,
I
was
given
two
stiches
and
placed
on
a
drip.
When
I
became
aware
of
my
surroundings
I
was
on
a
trolley
in
the
Accident
and
Emergency
department.
After
some
time,
I
was
given
two
CT
scans
(for
spine
and
brain)
plus
a
chest
X-Ray.
Eventually
I
was
told
I
could
leave,
and
was
handed
a
disc
of
the
scans,
plus
the
XRay
to
bring
back
to
England
!.
I
left
the
hospital
around
2pm
so
was
there
around
7
hours.
My
wife
is
insulin
dependant
and
the
staff
ensured
her
blood
sugar
levels
were
satisfactory
(metered)
So
what
are
my
comments
?
The
actual
treatment
was
good
and
thorough,
but
probably
because
of
the
language
little
was
said
to
me
as
feedback
or
questions.
I
had
to
use
the
toilet
to
urinate,
which
was
absolutely
awful
(dirty).
There
is,
as
in
many
hospitals
a
lot
of
noise
going
on,
but
I
have
no
complaints
about
how
I
was
treated,
and
thank
all
staff
involved.
I
have
read
various
reports
concerning
the
hospital,
but
feel
that
a
bit
of
TLC
from
managers
and
those
who
control
the
finances
could
improve
the
niggling
problems
I
have
mentioned.
Nevertheless
when
I
needed
them,
they
were
there
so
Good
Luck
to
all
involved.
Best
Wishes,
Tony
