Went to their ER where my experience was essentially invalidated entirely and was told that men aren't supposed to be expressing their pain, since apparently only women are allowed to openly suffer from their debilitating symptoms. Interesting how in 2022 your gender still determines whether you receive proper treatment or not

I went for a CT scan recently and found the basement of the Annex more like a social event with the staff than a professional working environment. Complete with an open air smoking room where the door was left open. A contrast was used but connecting pipes were not done correctly so the fluid burst out then my blood followed onto the floor. The first technician could not stop my blood flow, the second managed. His only comment was not to panic!!! I tried talking to the staff during the scan but no one answered. I recently had a CT at the German Oncology Centre and they were most professional in every manner going, totally opposite to this experience.

If I could, I would give this clinic a rating lower than one star. We had a terrible experience with them four years ago when my girlfriend and I received treatment for an accident and paid around 3,000 EURO on the next day before we checkout. We thought everything was settled until the clinic contacted us eight months ago, claiming that we still owed them 800 euros. We've been fighting with them over the phone ever since, but they continue to insist that we owe them money. The most frustrating part of this whole ordeal is that we have provided them with all the necessary documentation and proof of payment, yet they still refuse to acknowledge their mistake. It's shocking to see how persistent they are in pursuing a false debt, and it's even more disappointing to see how they treat their customers. I would strongly advise anyone against seeking treatment at this clinic. They lack transparency and honesty, as far as I concerned as they will not hesitate to claim false debts even after several years. Please be wary of their practices and avoid becoming a victim like we did.

absolutely worst hospıtal ever! Avoıd ıt and go to the Lımassol General hospıtal ınstead . They kept my poor 90 year old frail mum waiting outside in the cold for two hours only to come out and tell me that they could not treat and I should take her elsewhere! She needed a full pathological exam from the symptoms she presented with and they said they did not have doctors for this!???. What utter lies. The doctors were pompous arrogant people walking around doing nothing but giving off an air that they were superior to the working class people waiting in casualty. I took my mother to the New Limassol General hospital where mum was treated straightaway. She had viral gastroenteritis and after she was treated I was able to take her home - my friend who was with me told me to let the public know about the Mediterranean and how awful it is. I told my pharmacist about my experience and she commented that since it joined the GESY SYSTEM they have gone completely downhill.

I do not have a lot of experience with Mediterranean Hospital of Cyprus, but I wanted to leave the review about the doctor who works there. Dr. Savvas Nicolaides is so caring, amazing doctor, qualified obstetrician & gynecologist. He will always has a special place in my heart. I am very thankful for Dr. Nicolaides care and for delivering the most amazing gift of my life to me.

The staff was extremely helpful and kind! Been to casualties and I was pleasantly surprised by how kind the girls were at the registration area and I had x-ray's and MRI and all the technicians were very kind and made feel so welcomed and put me at ease!! As I was a little nervous cause I'm a bit claustrophobic..Very pleased with the services I received and how good the techs were to me!!Kalia the receptionist at the orthopedic section is super kind and helpful!! I mention her because she was very receptive and does her job well with a wonderful kind attitude...😊reposting as I added a few more positives...I posted this 1st back in October...2021

Just out new years day with only good to say about this hospital. The treatment I have received has been nothing but excellent. I've found the doctor's to be open and honest conscientiously giving of their best, caring and taking pride in what they do. The nursing staff are fantastic, nothing is too much for them, concerned, kind and friendly, happily doing their work to make everyone's stay as comfortable as possible. The food is nothing short of excellent.

Updated review: The best Doctor is Dr Panagiotis Paraschakis Interventional Neuroradiologist who is an exceptional Doctor. As a patient, I had a brain DSA done and he took patience and kindness explaining the procedure to me and putting me at ease. During the procedure and in theatre as I was awake, he talked me through the whole process step by step. He was wonderful in directing the rest of the theatre staff whilst checking always to make sure I was okay. After recovery he came to see me and explained his diagnosed findings and ensured I was stable enough to be released from hospital a few hours after that. This Doctor genuinely cares for his patients, he has followed up with my recovery since. He is a kind empathetic and compassionate Doctor, the best by far! Thank you Dr Paraschakis for all your care and expertise. You are an asset to the Mediterranean Hospital. _________________________ I had a brain and head MRI under the guidance of Dimitri and as I'm Claustrophobic and need to take a mild sedative, he guided me and dealt with me in a very gentle, caring and calm manner always checking and reassuring me that I was okay during the procedure which took just over an hour. I went at 1 a.m. for my 2 yr old daughter who had fever. She took a rapid test for covid and 10 minutes later, after having a negative result, a pediatrician examined her thoroughly. He didn't give me antibiotics because he diagnosed a viral infection. Completely satisfied by a fast and experienced service. My daughter didn't even cry because he had such a relaxed and gentle approach with her!!!

PCR QR test next day, fast friendly and open every day, unlike most clinics. Recommended for pcr test.

I have something to compare with, and I can say that there was not a bad moment throughout my entire interaction with this clinic. The nurses are very friendly and caring; doctors are confident and professional; and even the meals are great for a hospital. Mediterranean's obvious one problem is lack of funding, so don't let the slightly ragged appearance of the building fool you; what's important is how you're treated, and here you will be treated very well. I ran off from another clinic after poor treatment and ended up here, and I have zero regrets.

2 hours for nothing !!! We arrived to clinic with child because they told us we don’t need to wait. So we waited for 2 hours. At the end we went ourself to doctor without call, he said he was free. He put antiseptic for wound and let us go😱

You book an appointment, but you are waiting like a stupid for more than an hour, the reception choose who they send inside the doctors office, and they speak rude to the patient. For any service, you are waiting more than 1 hour, when you only need 1 minut inside. Worst reception service ever!!!!

I went to this hospital 2. The first time for a recurrent heart pain (3 days), they gave me paracetamol and the doctor proceed to lift my shirt up without asking to "check my sternum". Then said i might have stomach trouble. The cardiologist i visited later thought first of a myocardia infection before finding a WPW syndrome. The second time, i went because of lung issues, pain, caught, they did a scan, said i had a lung infection, gave antibiotics. Had to go to a pneumologist 2 months later on because the issue continued, who said that on the summary of my scan, they wrote that i had a nodule on one of my lung, but they didn't joined the scan copy and didn't notified me of it (summary done in greek). I can't recommend this hospital.

Worst hospital ever! Don’t call yourself emergency department if patient has to wait more than 2 hours to be let inside. After they put me in I waited another 1hour for someone to come to check on me.. they did 2 minutes check up.. it was all waste of time.. So so unprofessional! Also rude staff! Do not recommend it to anyone!

A massive thank you Dr Triantafyllos Giannakopoulos Vascular Surgeon. Thank you for transforming my life. Having struggled to walk more than a few steps without pain due to agony in my legs I can now complete all the house cleaning without a pause. Obviously to my wife’s delight. His fantastic work cleared my badly blocked veins in my legs and now my walking distance increases daily. Can’t recommend him high enough. He is truly top in his league. Can’t thank you enough. The emergency section was extremely bad; the nurses treated people like they were animals. Unfortunately, I don't know the nurse's name who was working that night on 07/12, but I'll make sure she gets punished for her behavior. She was the main nurse, black-haired with bangs, and she was rude to everyone around. She walked and laughed in her own language with her work friends behind everyone's back. She gave me a false diagnosis of gastritis when all I had was a very high temperature and low blood pressure, and I felt like fainting. She wanted to inject me with stomach medicine, and when I refused, she asked me if I'm a doctor and should stay quiet. Well, I think anyone knows if they have gastritis or not; it's obvious. Eventually, after I got my diagnosis from the doctor and everyone just left the room without saying anything, I didn't know if I should leave or wait as they didn't inform me. Then, this nurse came to me with sarcastic smile and asked if I know how to read or she needs to read for me how to open the door. Such rudeness, and for what? I had to leave 250€ for my incorrect diagnosis and be treated poorly for this amount of money. Never choose this place.

I was fight with everyone in emergency I need to wait 90 minutes to go in emergency because they didn’t have enough space very very bad organized!

Be prepared to long waiting if you are not local. Highly not recommend visiting this place with emergent problems.
