This is our stray cat “Kori” in Xylofagou village, unfortunately car hit her and she disappeared for 2 weeks exactly. I was searching for her with no hope. After 2 weeks she came back home , and we run her to Vet Michalis Loukas Oroklini, they find out that her diaphragm brake and the organs move to her lungs and heart, she breath strange , and we decided to make the surgery us Michalis and Charalambos told us with risk of her life . is one of the most dangerous surgery. hopefully everything went good and she is alive back home thanks to all the doctors of Vet Oroklini. I have approximately 66 stray cats , Michalis is the best Vet in our area ( i try many vet ) if not in Cyprus. I was crying so much before the surgery but she is finally fine inside a lovely house !

Our Cat came home with a broken fibula (back leg) in 3 places ! Someone had attack him With something like baseball bat or a stone ! Our local vet in Paphos treated him but didn't have the equipment or skill to help so after looking on the web found Dr Michalis Louka Clinic on FB with v.good reviews and pictures what he done! Also it was my brother's Vets too ! We contract him Sunday morning using messager sending the X-ray we had and to our surprise replayed immediately ! After talking to our Local vet in Paphos we drove to Larnaca and took him in done the surgery that night and received a call about it 23:30hrs saying it was done and was a very difficult operation. This was 2days ago early day our cat🐈🐈🐈 is working, eating well so time will tell 🤞🤞🤞

Look, I am a perfectionist. I rarely give a five star rating, BUT! Michalis Louka is not just a Veterinarian Doctor his is a professional first of all. He gave us a precise diagnosis in a very short time, what most can’t. Same day he made a brilliant operation, because it was an emergency 🚨. Second he gave us full description of all scenarios and options. We received all the analysis and photo reports. And the main reason why I am giving the highest rating for Michalis is that the dog fill perfect at the next day and we took her back home. He really love his profession, that’s why he is a professional, not just pretending to be or look like… Don’t waste your time, your money, don’t risk your pet live. Save your emotional health, I really recommend this clinic.❤️

Absolutely amazing vets.. we rushed our cat in after he was struggling to breathe, he was in critical condition and Dr Michalis told us he would do all he can, but also didn’t over promise and advised us to prepare for the worst. He rang us everyday over the last 3 days and given us updates, our cat has pulled through and is now stable - all down to the veterinary care he received and the fact they did not give up on him! If you want a team that love your pet as much as you and who will do all they can to save them; then this is the only vet to go too! Thank you again to the amazing team and saving our dear kitty 🤍🐾

Numerous of experiences doctors, great staff. The only thing i would change is the fact that in each appointment a different doctor is assigned to you.

Absolutely wonderful vets. They have worked so hard with all our dogs and given them the best treatment possible. They are the most caring vets we have ever gone to and we would never go anywhere else as they genuinely care for every animal they treat.

Only good for easy stuff like "deworming". They charge 3 - 4 times more than other vets. They misdiagnose animals, in particular cats and do wrong treatments. Not sure if thats on purpose or because they have no clue. From everything I heard Michalis used to be a good vet. But these days...I hear and read about many complaints. My own expericenes: They have no clue what they are doing. Or maybe they do and "treat" the cats on purpose wrong so they always have to come back. Dont know. Not even sure what would be worse. My friend found a half alive kitten. Michalis prescribed antibiotics for 14 days (the info sheet even said not more than 7 days). The kitten had to stay over night. They charged 35 Euro per night (other vets charge 10-12 Euro). In the end my friend paid 95 Euro for almost nothing. He asked me to take the kitten as he had to leave. Because of my negative experience with Michalis (see below) I took the kitten to my Vet for a check. They were shocked about the 14 days of antibiotics. They/we reduced it to 3 days and gave him some other treatment which started to help the kitten the same day. Giving antibiotics for such a long time can destroy the intestinal flora and again another treatment will be needed. They tested my friends cat over a few months for different things. Their bill was 2-3K Euro. They couldnt figure out what the cat had. Once the cat got blind my friends took their cat to another vet. They immedialty diagnosed that the cat has FIP. Knowing that Cyprus is having problems with FIP, Michalis just didnt made the most logical test and left the cat to suffer. I found a kitten last year. This was my first experience with Michalis. Michalis said that the kitten needs 3 vaccinations. Weird is that other Vets say its 2 vaccinations. So, do they just need the addintional money or do they have not a clue? My friend found a kitten last year. The kitten was hit by a car. He couldnt keep his legs together. He couldnt stay or walk. My friend took the kitten to Michalis. They gave 2 injections of antibotics and sent the kitten home with my friend. 3 days later the tail fell off. After a second visit they did an xray showing he had a broken spine and other internal damage. They fixed him up so he can have a more or less normal life (not really normal). His bladder and intestins are not functinging properly. A few months after the accident he started to have problems. He stopped eating, got constipations and diarrhoea etc. My friend took him again back to Mechalis. They didnt really check him but gave him something to treat the diarrhoea and sent him back home. After 1 week he got worse. She told me the whole story about her cat and we decided to take him to my vet to get a second opinion. My vet immediatly checked him in to stay at least for 1 night so they can observe him. They found out that the diarrhoe is just a symthom of the constipation. Because of the car accident his digestive system is not working properly. So Mechalis treated the cat for diarrhoe causing more constipations and more pain. My vets and we were able to help the cat gladfully. 1 week ago it happened again, but as he is now living with me, I took him to my vet. After a few days there and different unsuccessful treatments, there was no other option than to do a surgery. Everything went well and he should have a more or less normal life, but will need special care. When my vets explained everything to me they told me that if he would have had surgery not long after the accident the cat wouldnt have had to suffer that much. I told my neighbour about this conversation and she looked at me completly shocked as at Michalis she got told "there is nothing we can really do, except "patching" him up". So please, dont get blinded from all the 5 star reviews. If you just need deworming or want to get a cut check out...then why not, visit Michalis. But for everything else, please find another vet. Everyone I've spoken to recently does not understand where this positive reviews are coming from.

I love this veterinary clinic. Already many years use their services. The doctors are really attentive and professional. Another one fact is really important for me that they always send me reminders and I don't need to keep in when is time for vaccine or for taking pills against parasites.👍🐶

Very professional team. My Lexi and Max can not be in better hands. Early this year Lexi went very sick and with fast diagnosis she had splenectomy. They will call you for follow-up and they will check if she is recovering well. I can not recommend them highly enough.

We just had to have our very old "love of our life kitty " put down due to some serious health issues. It broke our hearts, and the pain is still there. However, we want to thank Michalis and his team for always being so kind, compassionate, friendly and always on hand to help in emergency situations, even during the most busy and stressful times at the clinic. We remember the time when we watched his clinic being built, and we had the privilege of having Michalis and his team look after our darling kitty for over 8 years as well as observing all the positive changes that has made his clinic the success it is today. We can honestly say that we never regretted the day we met Michalis, and if ever we get another pet, Michalis and his wonderful team will be the first place we go back to. We have used Michalis Louka & his team for several years now - for our cats and our French bulldog. They are always kind, friendly & very welcoming. They also speak brilliant English which is ideal for the large expat community nearby. Dr Louka has performed a life changing amputation on my cat, and specialist BOAS airway surgery on my dog and both were carried out with the highest care and attention. The prices compared to the U.K. are amazing!! My animals have always been happy and content in the clinic, with no fear at all, which is testament to the level of care and love they receive there! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dr Louka and his team to anyone in the Larnaca area, they are wonderful.
